The center of Hasselfelde is approximately two kilometers away. There you will also find numerous shops and restaurants outside the western city. The Selketalbahn leaves from the train station, belongs to the Harz narrow gauge lines and takes you through what is probably the most romantic part of the Harz Mountains: The railway line winds a way through the original landscape in tight turns, some of which are more adventurous. A trip through the Selketal still applies as a secret tip for nature and romance lovers.

I would say this place is perfect for a family vacation, The location is ideal for exploring the Harz region, and the house itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, The kids loved the outdoor play areas nearby, which made our stay more enjoyable

What a hidden gem! The location is perfect for hiking in the Harz mountains. Our children loved the adventure activities nearby, and we enjoyed quiet evenings in our cozy home. I would recommend it without hesitation!
