Description
The two-story, detached house is quietly located on a cul-de-sac, 100m from the edge of the forest on an approximately 800sqm woodland plot.
LOWER FLOOR
The lower floor (approx. 80sqm) consists mainly of a large, open living area, with:
- Dining area with 4 chairs, connected to the kitchen by a serving hatch
- Conservatory with sofa seating area, heated, can be used all year round
- Slightly separate, you will find yourself inside in a cozy seating area with a wood-burning stove and television. - Spacious bathroom with toilet, shower, and bathtub
- Spacious entrance area with wardrobe
Radio/CD/Bluetooth, as well as Wi-Fi are available. A small terrace adjoins the conservatory, where you can sit outside.
UPPER FLOOR
2 bedrooms (separate, with doors, approx. 10 sqm):
- one with a double bed, which stands against a wall
- one with 2 single beds – usable as sofas when not occupied – with a second TV and DVD player
- small WC
This is a non-smoking house (you are welcome to use the terrace for this).
The rooms of the house are optimal for 2–4 people, but can, if necessary (on request), also be used by up to 6 people. For the latter, one of the two sofas in the living area can additionally be converted into a double bed.

Location and surroundings of object
There is plenty of opportunity to get close to nature in and around Wandlitz. The landscape is one of many lakes and forests. The bathing beach at Wandlitzsee is just ten minutes' walk away, a short distance from the Wandlitzer Promenade around the woodland and lakes near the town.
Berlin's city centre is only about 25 minutes from Wandlitz by car. If you prefer not to drive, then you can also take the "Heidekrautbahn" (Heather Line) train, which runs to Berlin-Karow in 20 minutes. From there, the S-Bahn connects to the city centre, direct to the Brandenburg Gate. With an ABC Ticket you can travel throughout Berlin as well as to and from Wandlitz.

| Utilities are included. Gas is included up to 20 kWh per day. Additional consumption is charged at €0.15 per kWh. During the heating season (September to May), the deposit is therefore €200. Towel sets can be booked as an option, per set for 5€ (one large, fluffy shower towel and one normal towel) ---- Small towels for the hands are provided as standard. |
Cancellation terms:
In case of cancellation within 6 weeks before the start of the trip, we reserve the right to charge the deposit made as a cancellation fee. Cancellations due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions in Wandlitz will, of course, be fully refunded by us at any time.
additional information:
We have tried to design the cottage individually and lovingly. However, it may not correspond to common holiday homes, which are immaculately furnished according to functional standards. The garden gate is a bit stuck and the path to the house is bumpy and not suitable for people with walking problems or wheelchairs. We intend to change this in the future, but as long as we have not been able to do so, we would like to point out that this is unfortunately the case at the moment
The garden is a woodland property and we would like to preserve its character as such - with woodland lawn including moss, some pine apples and needles. You are guaranteed to see at least one squirrel when you sit in the garden, and you can listen to and watch a variety of birds under the century-old, huge trees.

Pure relaxation
The house was very cosy, modern without being too cold, and yet very rustic on the other hand. The beds were more comfortable than our own, and we wanted for nothing in terms of furnishings. The surroundings are, of course, fantastic. You'd never guess that Berlin is surrounded by such stunning scenery. We also made three trips to Berlin, you can get there and back in an hour. The contact with the hostess was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!

Relaxed
The house is cozy, especially the converted winter garden is nice and bright and warm. Sitting on the covered entrance bench with coffee in the rain, listening to the rain, smelling the pines, and watching the squirrels play catch was the best. The underfloor heating is wonderful and strangely doesn't dry out the air like other heating systems. Everything we needed for our well-being was available in the house. It is nice and quiet, even though the house has neighbors on all sides. The forest is beautifully hilly with partly exciting winding paths. One lake is more beautiful than the other, and because everyone always goes to the Libnitzsee, the smaller ones are often empty. Last but not least: the landlady is very friendly.

Relaxed weekend
We were there for a long weekend. The house was exactly as described, quiet, cosy, and perfect for us couples. There is Wi-Fi and we heated the fireplace in the evenings. A nice place to recharge your batteries for a while.
