GROUND FLOOR
The lower floor (approx. 80m2) mainly consists of a large open living space. Here you will find a dining area with 4 chairs, which is connected to the kitchen by a hatch. Adjoining is a conservatory with heating (under floor heating), which can be used all year around, and which also has a sofa seating area. From there a patio leads of where you can sit outside. A bit seperate you will find yourself in a cosy lounge with a woodburning stove and a television. The sofa there can be converted into a double bed.
A spacious bathroom with a toilet, a shower and a bath is also located on this floor, together with an entry hall with coat rack.
UPPER FLOOR
Here you will find two bedrooms (each capprox. 10m2). One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the other onw has two twin beds. In the latter is a second television. A small toilet is also available on the upper floor.

Location and surroundings of object
There is plenty of opportunity to get close to nature in and around Wandlitz. The landscape is one of many lakes and forests. The bathing beach at Wandlitzsee is just ten minutes' walk away, a short distance from the Wandlitzer Promenade around the woodland and lakes near the town.
Berlin's city centre is only about 25 minutes from Wandlitz by car. If you prefer not to drive, then you can also take the "Heidekrautbahn" (Heather Line) train, which runs to Berlin-Karow in 20 minutes. From there, the S-Bahn connects to the city centre, direct to the Brandenburg Gate. With an ABC Ticket you can travel throughout Berlin as well as to and from Wandlitz.

We have tried to design the cottage individually and lovingly. However, it may not correspond to common holiday homes, which are immaculately furnished according to functional standards. The garden gate is a bit stuck and the path to the house is bumpy and not suitable for people with walking problems or wheelchairs. We intend to change this in the future, but as long as we have not been able to do so, we would like to point out that this is unfortunately the case at the moment
The garden is a woodland property and we would like to preserve its character as such - with woodland lawn including moss, some pine apples and needles. You are guaranteed to see at least one squirrel when you sit in the garden, and you can listen to and watch a variety of birds under the century-old, huge trees.

Pure relaxation
The house was very cosy, modern without being too cold, and yet very rustic on the other hand. The beds were more comfortable than our own, and we wanted for nothing in terms of furnishings. The surroundings are, of course, fantastic. You'd never guess that Berlin is surrounded by such stunning scenery. We also made three trips to Berlin, you can get there and back in an hour. The contact with the hostess was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!

Relaxed
The house is cozy, especially the converted winter garden is nice and bright and warm. Sitting on the covered entrance bench with coffee in the rain, listening to the rain, smelling the pines, and watching the squirrels play catch was the best. The underfloor heating is wonderful and strangely doesn't dry out the air like other heating systems. Everything we needed for our well-being was available in the house. It is nice and quiet, even though the house has neighbors on all sides. The forest is beautifully hilly with partly exciting winding paths. One lake is more beautiful than the other, and because everyone always goes to the Libnitzsee, the smaller ones are often empty. Last but not least: the landlady is very friendly.

Relaxed weekend
We were there for a long weekend. The house was exactly as described, quiet, cosy, and perfect for us couples. There is Wi-Fi and we heated the fireplace in the evenings. A nice place to recharge your batteries for a while.

Quiet and cozy
Close to the forest and many lakes, this house is located in a residential area. The edge of the forest is only 1m away and is a beautiful starting point for bike tours. The house itself has character and is very cozy. There is a large living area downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The two terraces, one small in the front and one larger in the back, are the perfect place to listen to birds. Occasionally, an hedgehog and of course squirrels come by. We will definitely come back!

Cozy house in a quiet location
The three of us spent a long winter weekend in this holiday home and felt very comfortable from the first minute. The house is totally cozy and lovingly furnished, very clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed. The contact with everyone involved was very friendly, uncomplicated, and accommodating. The surrounding area, with its immediate proximity to the forest and water, invites you to relax. We will gladly come back!

House to fall in love with
Our stay was wonderful. The house is very stylishly furnished and radiates warmth and cosiness in every corner. The living room with fireplace invites you to linger comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped and very modern, so you can also cook super here. With a pass-through to the dining table, it is also very practical. Underfloor heating in the beautiful winter garden and in the bathroom with the great tub complete the feel-good experience. The shower is also great. The location at the edge of the forest is very quiet and yet very easy to reach. You are undisturbed here. For warmer days, the house has a lovely terrace. The booking process is very uncomplicated. The contact with the hosts was very pleasant. The lakes and forests around Wandlitz invite you to extensive walks, bike rides, and hikes at any time of year. We would love to come back and also gladly recommend the accommodation to others.

Forget everyday life in the squirrel house
We felt completely comfortable. Although there are two TVs in the house, none were used. Instead, we took a walk in the nearby forest, chatted by the fireplace, played together in the cozy winter garden, and since we had bikes with us, we cycled to Liepnitzsee and the Waldsiedlung, followed by a visit to the local brewery. And for us city dwellers, the squirrels frolicking around the house were of course a highlight. The house has everything you need to feel completely comfortable. If you have any questions, you will immediately find a sympathetic ear. The entire process was very pleasant and friendly. The house is perfect for renting with friends or for a romantic getaway for two. We would love to come back.
