Quiet holiday home

We felt very comfortable at FH Arnolde. The house is clean, everything you need is there. It is completely quiet at night. The beds were great (maybe a bit low) and we slept well. The garden is large and completely fenced, ideal for dogs. The surroundings are also very interesting. You can take many excursions, e.g. Ihlow Monastery, Greetsiel, the leaning church tower of Suurhusen, good shopping options in the village. All in all, a very good location.

Already seen better.

The house was anything but "spotless."
The shower was extremely moldy and hair from previous tenants could be seen in the drain. We better not use the shower curtain due to all the mold. The whole house smells unpleasantly of mud, and unfortunately, no air fresheners help with that. Definitely memorize the house rules beforehand, as the landlady likes to point out what one has to pay attention to. After we were told that everything our dog makes dirty should also be cleaned again, the floors in the living room were cleaner upon our departure than upon our arrival. The water damage in the hallway causes the plaster to crumble, and the wallpaper in the living room is fixed with tape. It was overall adventurous in this house but in no way cozy.

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Ihr Aufenthalt nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprach und Sie mit dem Zustand des Hauses unzufrieden waren. Die Sauberkeit hat für uns höchste Priorität, und wir bedauern zutiefst, dass Sie Schimmel in der Dusche und Haare im Abfluss vorgefunden haben. Das entspricht nicht unseren Standards. Wir werden diesen Mangel umgehend prüfen und beheben, um sicherzustellen, dass dies nicht noch einmal vorkommt.

Wie Sie richtig bemerkt haben, handelt es sich bei unserem Haus um ein älteres Gebäude mit einem besonderen Charakter. Mängel wie der Putz im Flur oder die Tapeten im Wohnzimmer sind Herausforderungen, die mit der Instandhaltung eines solchen Hauses einhergehen, an deren Behebung wir aber stetig arbeiten.

Bei Ihrer Anreise weisen wir immer darauf hin, dass wir jederzeit für unsere Gäste erreichbar sind und bitten darum, uns Probleme oder Mängel umgehend mitzuteilen. Nur so können wir während des Aufenthalts schnell reagieren und Abhilfe schaffen. Es ist schade, dass wir während Ihres Aufenthalts keine Rückmeldung erhalten haben, da wir die genannten Mängel,insofern möglich, gerne direkt behoben hätten.

Bezüglich der Hausordnung und den Hinweisen, die Sie erhalten haben, möchten wir klarstellen, dass es uns fernliegt, unseren Gästen einen unangenehmen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Unsere Regeln dienen lediglich dazu, das Haus in einem einwandfreien Zustand für alle nachfolgenden Gäste zu halten. Als die Sauberkeit im Wohnzimmer nach dem Hinaufspringen Ihres Hundes auf das Sofa angesprochen wurde, war es unsere Absicht, eine Lösung zu finden, die im Sinne aller ist.

Wir bedauern, dass Ihr Aufenthalt nicht so gemütlich war, wie wir es uns für unsere Gäste wünschen. Wir werden Ihr Feedback nutzen, um unseren Service weiter zu verbessern.

Beautiful week in Moormerland

Very nice and friendly landlord family. Well-equipped and very clean holiday home. Very good and quiet location. Shopping opportunities and sights quickly accessible. Dog Ben felt very comfortable in the garden. We would love to come back!

Top accommodation and hosts

We were there with a total of 9 people and a dog; there was enough space available. The house has everything you need; what might be missing is a washing machine? The landlords are very friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it. From the location, many things are accessible. Always happy to come back.

beautiful week in Moormerland

since we didn't know this area so well, we decided at short notice to spend a week here with our dog Milan. And it was well done!
Nice little, very clean house, great kitchen with everything you need! The garden is wonderful for dogs and the sitting area for the rest of the family. The whole landlord family very friendly and approachable. Nearby a good shopping centre with all the shops, also a farm shop close by. On Thursdays a small market with fish cart. We didn't try the pizzeria one street away. If it suits, we will gladly come again!

Family holiday with dog

We spent a week in the Arnolde holiday home. We felt right at home, everything is at ground level. The house is decorated with love and everything is adapted so that we immediately felt at home. The garden for our dog was also sufficient and completely fenced. Shops are close by and easy to reach by car. The motorway was within easy reach so that we could easily reach the various beaches and harbours. We were very satisfied with everything. The landlady could be reached at any time and was quickly at the house. All in all, we had a great time in the Arnolde holiday home and can recommend it at any time. ☀️☀️
P.S. We will miss the kitchen clock ?

Wonderful days in East Frisia

We had a great week with the whole family and dog in the Arnolde holiday home!

The holiday home is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Mrs Wormland gave us very good tips on what to do in the area and is a very friendly hostess who was always available for us! We would love to come back and a very special souvenir will remind us of this holiday for a long time!!!! Thank you!

It was very nice.

We were there with 3 children and a dog. It was very clean and cosy. Our highlight was the large kitchen and the great bathroom. It's a great place to walk the dog and there's a playground within walking distance. For shopping, everything is in the village. There are beautiful places to visit nearby and the motorway is not far away. So you can quickly get to the coast or the well-known cities. We liked it very much and would like to come back.
