Our wonderful summer cottage lies in a secluded country area, close to everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. The cottage offers you peace and quiet, with only your fantasy and energy levels limiting the range of activities you can get up to.
The cottage is situated overlooking Gullmarsfjorden, Sweden’s only real fjord. The main terrace offers a spectacular view over the fjord. Here you can relax in complete privacy, enjoying breakfast in the morning sunshine or a late dinner while the setting sun sets the fjord alight in vivid colours. During the occasional downpour you can take cover under the large covered terrace adjoining the cottage, while still enjoying the view of the fjord. A third outdoor terrace, by the front garden, is perfect for soaking-up the late evening sun.
Our cottage is perfect for a large family, or even just a group of friends, looking to get away from everything. In the main building there are four bedrooms with eight sleeping places, while in the outhouses there are a further five beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, complete with washing machine and dishwasher.

Location and surroundings of object
The Bohuslän area is the jewel of Sweden’s west coast. Smögen, which offers a variety of boating opportunities and spas is only half an hour away by car. Likewise too Nordens Ark, one of Sweden’s most interesting safari parks. And dotted along the whole of Bohuslän’s coast is an array of genuine working fishing villages, broken up only by glittering bays and beaches. Which fishing village will become your favourite?
If something a little more hectic to quench your appetite is needed, then Oslo, Norway’s 1000 year old capital, is only a two hours journey by ( and even quicker by motorboat). Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city, is situated an hours drive to the south of the cottage. Here you can enjoy shopping opportunities and some of Northern Europe’s best fish restaurants, in a city much loved for its cobbled streets, trams and positive and lively attitude among its inhabitants.
You won’t have to plan your lunches and dinners too far in advance. In Munkedal’s town centre there is a supermarket and local Systembolag (alcohol shop). Torp Shopping Centre (15 km from the cottage) offers clothes, electronic and DIY stores as well as two supermarkets and a fishmonger.
The summer cottage is only an hour away from Gothenburg City Airport, offering services by Ryanair to a range of European cities. Gothenburg’s Landvetter Airport is no more than 75 minutes drive ( From Gothenburg you can even travel by boat to Fredrikshavn and Kiel.
If days lounging on the terrace, in the garden or lazing down by the water don’t suffice, then there are lots of other activities nearby. Torreby, with its 18 hole golf-club, is three km away. Here you can also eat lunch or dinner at the castle which dates from 1897. Just as close by is Gårvik, complete with beach, diving tower, pier and kiosk. Here the water is perfect for those who wish to bathe in shallow waters rather than diving from the cliffs by the cottage. Örekilsälven offers some of Sweden’s richest salmon waters. Close to Dingle it is also possible to canoe through the many waterways. Bringing your bicycles with you puts the whole area within a comfortable distance.
