In an unspoilt holiday landscape characterised by wide beaches, picturesque cliffs and idyllic bays, you will find the Baltic resort of Schönhagen, a district of Brodersby, directly on the Baltic Sea.
Schönhagen is located in the north of the Schwansen peninsula, which is surrounded by water on three sides. The Eckernförde Bay in the south, the open sea in the east and the Schlei in the north and west form the framework. Schönhagen's guests particularly love the beach, which is around 1000m long and connects seamlessly with the beach in Kappeln. In the south, the beach borders on the steep coast. Along this impressive cliff you reach the nature reserve "Schwansener See" in the south, a supervised bird sanctuary. Here, between beach and dunes, reeds and sparse forests, is the habitat for a variety of birds, amphibians and plants. In order to protect the diverse life, a footpath and cycle path runs at a suitable distance. All year round, this small holiday resort offers a good programme of events - in summer especially for families with children. Schönhagen is too small for a "proper" promenade. If you want to relax in peace and quiet, you can easily do without it.

Chic little house

Beautiful, well-maintained holiday home in a great location just a few meters from the beach.
Nicely and sufficiently furnished - a bit of a drawback as it is not necessarily set up for tall people (man 1.96m).
In the living room, a cozy sectional sofa for evening family cuddling would be nicer than a 3-seater and a 2-seater. Otherwise, everything is top-notch, beautiful fenced garden, super nice landlords. We will come back.

A very beautiful holiday

Booked quickly and easily, we arrived with three people at a clean and satisfying holiday home. The sauna quickly warmed us up after a refreshing beach walk, and evenings by the fireplace in the well-furnished house sparked interesting conversations. Those seeking peace and salty sea air outside of the season and enjoying long walks will find this place perfect. There are small shopping possibilities within walking distance. Those who are good on foot can enjoy nature and find hidden restaurants/hotels with local home cooking in the neighboring villages. For those with transportation, cultural entertainment can be found in the neighboring cities of Kappeln and Eckernförde.

Great beach vacation!

A holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of location and facilities. Great sandy beach, guaranteed peace and relaxation. The on-site service is very friendly and competent.
Very pleasant contact with the landlord. We will definitely come back!
