Ideal starting point for hikes in the Augstbord region. 220 km of hiking trails and 25 km of marked ski slopes. Beautiful cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths. Ski bus to Unterbäch. Other ski resorts such as Zermatt, Saas-Fee and Riederalp/Bettmeralp are easily accessible. Bürchen is beautifully situated on a terrace between 1250 and 1600 m above sea level and can be reached from Visp in 15 minutes by car. Nestled between gentle hills and protective forests, Bürchen offers an unforgettable view. As a holiday resort, the birch village Bürchen is known as a hiking paradise and in winter as a popular ski and snowboard destination for families.
