The "Alte Büdnerei" in Pinnow
In the old village center, near the lake, on a former farm in a traditional thatched-roof house from 1786, lies your holiday home in the countryside.
The extensive, quiet estate (2 hectares) has been family-owned for 130 years.
The holiday apartment has been lovingly restored by us, the owners live on site and are available at any time if needed. Separate entrance and a sunny terrace facing southeast right in front of the large living room window; garden furniture, sun loungers, lawn, grill, fire pit on the courtyard;
Shared use of the 20,000m² courtyard and garden areas - ideal for children.
The fee for final cleaning is 60 Euros, plus 10 Euros per person for bed linen (optional) and, if desired, towels for 5 Euros per person.
Extensive baby and toddler equipment can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets (dogs) are welcome by arrangement. Here, an additional charge of €20 per animal applies for the increased cleaning effort. The special accommodation in an old thatched-roof house in the countryside:

The romantic sleeping loft, open to the living room, offers two more very special sleeping places. (1 French double bed)
Where hay for the animals was stored 230 years ago, guests can now comfortably rest. The sleeping loft is reached via a steep staircase/ladder. Ideal for self-caterers:
The fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and extensive cooking utensils offers everything a self-caterer could wish for.
Those who prefer to let others cook can choose from 2 local restaurants and numerous delivery services for variety.

You can reach us from the direction of Hamburg or Berlin via the A24.
At the Schwerin interchange, branch off onto the A14 (formerly A241) towards Wismar / Schwerin.
Leave the highway at the Schwerin Ost / Crivitz exit.
You will reach the national road B321, turn left towards Parchim /Crivitz.
After about 12 km, you will arrive in Crivitz. Turn left after 1.5 km towards Pinnow onto a small country road lined with fruit trees
after another 1000m, you reach the entrance to Pinnow
now follow the main road to the first intersection at the bus stop (500m)
here, the main road turns right towards Pinnow-Petersberg, proceed straight on the cobblestone road into the old village center
after 150m, turn left at the old village square
after 50m, you will reach your destination on the left, at the back corner of the village square, Dorfstraße 8
More than just pure nature:
Pinnow is a pristine little village with magnificent lakes and forests, located very close to the state capital Schwerin (5km, World Heritage City) and yet in the heart of nature in the Mecklenburg Lake District (Landscape Protection Area, Nature Park). Due to the proximity to the "City of 7 Lakes", Schwerin with its fairy-tale castle, numerous cultural activities are also available.
We are happy to provide tips for excursions and tours. Detailed information and maps are available for you, and three simple bicycles are available free of charge. Golf course and glider airfield nearby. (Introductory courses, ride-along opportunities)

Feel like rowing on Lake Pinnow?
During the summer months, you can rent rowboats at the beach on the lake (2 km). Pinnower Lake, in terms of water quality, is unparalleled (drinking water extraction area) and is beautifully nestled in a forest-rich valley with its islands. Numerous swimming opportunities (700m to 2 km away) cater to various preferences, from a public bathing area with a shallow beach and playground for children, as well as dining facilities, to nudist beaches, up to a secluded bay on one of the islands.

Short vacation in Pinnow
We found a lovingly furnished vacation apartment. Everything we needed was available. Cleanliness very good, location absolutely quiet and in a beautifully renovated farmhouse.

Beautiful house in a quiet location
We were able to spend some quiet and relaxing days over New Year's Eve in this holiday home with our dog. The house is very cosy and tastefully furnished, we felt very comfortable and wanted for nothing. There are beautiful walks right behind the house, with or without the dog, and it is also not far to some of the many bathing spots around the village. The contact with the landlords is very cordial, everything was uncomplicated. We were travelling without children, but this holiday home is very suitable for small children because of its large garden with all kinds of play equipment. And because this is an important criterion for us when choosing our properties, it should also be mentioned positively: the wifi reception is very good.
We can unreservedly recommend this holiday home!
