The thatched house was built in 2015 predominantly from natural building materials in a style that is typical of the island and yet modern
The eye-catcher of the house is the beautiful, inviting door and the typical thatched dormer above it.
Enter the bright hallway and the living area, consisting of a living room with a large dining area, cosy TV and fireplace corner and open kitchen with counter. From the fully equipped kitchen you enter the garden through a patio door on the south side of the house. The large terrace is accessible through the living room and extends the dining area outside onto a sunny wooden deck on the west side. A bathroom with bath, WC, washbasin and towel radiator as well as a utility room with washing machine are also located on the ground floor.
All walls on the ground floor are plastered with clay, and the wooden beam ceiling was also finished with clay over the visible beams
The floors in the hallway, kitchen, bathroom and utility room are fitted with high-quality tiles and have underfloor heating. Solid oak floorboards were laid in the living room. Here, wall heating integrated into the clay plaster and a designer radiator provide pleasant warmth
A curved wooden staircase in the hallway leads to the attic, where the three bedrooms and a second bathroom are located. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, here there is also the possibility to put up a baby cot. The other two bedrooms have two single beds or one single bed and one rollaway bed. All built-in cupboards and beds were individually made of wood.
The bathroom has high-quality fittings, consisting of a large shower with rain shower, WC, bidet and designer washbasin as well as towel radiator and underfloor heating
With the exception of the bathroom, all rooms in the attic have larch wood flooring.
The west-facing bedrooms offer a wide view over the garden and the adjoining meadows through large, floor-to-ceiling windows. When the trees have shed their leaves in autumn, you can see as far as Lake Gothensee from here.
The wooden windows, on the ground floor with folding or sliding shutters, let the sun into the house at any time of day and offer a view in all directions
The house has a lockable wooden bicycle shed and a parking space for 2-3 cars.

Dreamlike!
We spent our holiday on Usedom in August 2021 in the Reethaus and felt completely at home there!
Even the contact with the landlords in the run-up to our arrival was very friendly and sympathetic, and the children were also very happy about the little surprise. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired: The upscale furnishings are modern and offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday (including a very good internet connection). We also found it very positive that the house is largely built from sustainable resources, which - in addition to the very tasteful furnishings - is also a feel-good factor.
The house is located in a quiet area on the edge of a meadow, but you can still get to the beach or to the shops quickly. It is very nice that many things can be reached by bike, so you not only experience more of the landscape but also protect the environment. The nearby Wolgast Lake invites you to go for a walk or a jog, and if you like, you can also go swimming. The bread service at the nearby Hotel Idyll is very practical and reliable.
All in all, we can unreservedly recommend the accommodation for a relaxing holiday at the Baltic Sea!

Dream house for relaxing
We spent our autumn vacation in the thatched cottage and felt super comfortable.
The house is simply cozy, practical and very lovingly furnished. We didn't miss anything.
The kitchen is optimally equipped, everything you need is there.
The Wolgast Lake nearby is always worth a walk, beautiful light in the morning and evening.
On this occasion, you can also eat very well in the idyllic Wolgast Lake area, they also have a bread service.
Otherwise, the imperial baths are nearby - also easily accessible by bike - an ideal starting point for bike tours around the island as well as for swimming or strolling on the beach.
We will gladly come back!

The accommodation is highly recommended, everything is very tastefully decorated.
This house is very centrally located, so that you can easily reach the Imperial Spas Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin by car or bike.

A beautiful Usedom vacation in a great house!
It was a great 2 weeks in the thatched cottage. The location/environment as well as the facilities were fantastic, and we can only recommend the house, thumbs up!

We have been holidaying in Korswandt ourselves for many years and appreciate the tranquillity and closeness to nature away from the Kaiserbäder and yet close enough to get to the white beach of the Baltic Sea quickly and comfortably by bike. We have built the reed house from ecological building materials: Clay tiles, wooden floorboards, wooden beam ceiling, clay plaster, thatched roof, wooden windows and wooden furniture create a healthy feel-good atmosphere in which we ourselves also like to spend our holidays regularly.
