Description
Built around 1860, the winegrower's house was always family-owned and was lovingly and faithfully restored in 2004 and equipped with contemporary comfort. On the ground floor is the rustic Ticino parlour with fireplace and direct access to the pergola with Ticino stone table and granite benches as well as the cosy, bright living room with Swedish stove and panorama windows over the garden and the covered seating area. The kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet are also located here. On the upper floor there is a bedroom with access to the balcony and terrace, and a bedroom with access to the garden on the mountain side. Furthermore, a comfortable relaxation room with a sound system is available for use on the upper floor. Bicycles can be stored in the lockable basement room.The Rustico offers its guests a beautiful turnaround and two parking spaces.
The sunny winegrower's house is situated on a slope in the district of Bugaro, embedded in the midst of many vineyards. The area is known for famous wine producers. Especially the company Matasci Vini with excellent wines has been a household name in the Ticino wine world for many years. Especially who is looking for very good Merlots is well advised here. Since many years the name Matasci is also connected with the world of art and offers interesting exhibitions and art collections. A guided tour through the production and exhibition rooms is highly recommended.

Location and surroundings of object
The Rustico is situated on the southern slope above Riazzino, in the hamlet Bugaro, with panoramic view. Riazzino, Bugaro and Monte Dato forms together the community Lavertezzo-Piano and belongs to the commune of Lavertezzo. Riazzino is on the road Bellinzona-Locarno, and also has a railway station. Monte Dato and Bugaro lies in the hill zone with beautiful views, nestled among vineyards in a quiet area.
The village Tenero is situated about 3 km away from Bellinzona, direct on the lake Maggiore and has a special attraction: the tranquility of the lake surrounded by mountains, the beaches with white sand and the surrounding area with its vineyards creating an exciting but for all that relaxing atmosphere that leaves no visitor unmoved.
The area has also an artistic and cultural side you can discover. It is a perfect starting point for trips or comfortable biking tours on the Magadino plain.
The Galleria Matasci with the museum of wine and the oratorio from Fraccia in Tenero are lovely to visit. One of the most popular place of interests are the “Bolle di Magadino”, a transition from water and land in the estuary of the river Ticino and Verzasca.
The region Tenero offers al type of events which brings much variety on your stay, to name just a few: exhibitions, markets, festivals, wine festivals, wine tasting, village festivals, country, jazz, folk music and classical music concerts, vintage car meeting for cars and motorcycles, the Commercial Fair.
North of Tenero is the Val Verzasca, this valley is certainly one of the most famous in Ticino. A beautiful wild mountain valley which the clear water of the Verzasca River has dug. Very popular in summer are the laps abraded shore rocks swimming spots. In autumn, you can take beautiful walks along the river.
Tenero-Verzasca has an extensive network of hiking trails of around 300 km, which leaves nothing to be desired: from relaxing walks along the lakefront, sports courses or theme trails to high mountain tours with breathtaking views, to quicken the heart of any mountain walker.
If you like playing sports if you like to stay outside; you find in the region a wide range of interesting possibilities. Tenero has a public beach directly on the lake and a swimming pool where you can have fun in the water or can sunbathe on the lawn.

Very pleasant rustic accommodation to live in outdoors. Quiet location with a magnificent view. Equipment, welcome, and advice are very good. I recommend it without hesitation.
