Description

Holidays directly on the water - this experience is offered by the houseboat D9 style. Cast off and set off on a discovery tour across the Havel to many lakes of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The Great Labussee, the Small Müritz, the Stolpsee, Wangnitzsee, Ziernsee and Röblinsee are just a few of the lakes on the tour. Anchor in Neustrelitz, Fürstenberg, Rheinsberg or Mirow and discover the wonderful towns. Fish and swim directly from the raft and enjoy the day on the water. Most harbours are well equipped with sanitary blocks, showers, electricity and water supply as well as bread service. During the day you can go ashore for shopping, sightseeing or dining and then in the evening enjoy the sunset from the lounge with a glass of wine. The gentle sound of the water and the sounds of nature will lull you to sleep. A holiday couldn't be more relaxing.

The facilities

The houseboat has a living area of 15 m² + 25 m² sun deck, terrace and steering position. Up to 4 persons + 2 dogs have enough space for a relaxing holiday. The living area has a large sofa, table and a well-equipped kitchenette. A gas heater can provide the necessary warmth on cooler days. The adjoining bedroom is equipped with a French bed 1.40 m x 2.00 m and a double bunk bed 2 beds a 0.80 m x 2.00 m. There is plenty of storage space for your belongings. There is enough storage space for your luggage. The solid glass windows can be darkened and are partly equipped with insect screens. The bathroom has a fixed toilet with hand water pump, mirror and a washbasin with cold water. A sanitary raft with showers, toilet and washbasin is also available, directly at the jetty.

Outdoor area

From the living area you reach the front terrace with steering position. This is covered by approx. 1 m and can be closed in bad weather. There are chairs and a table on the terrace. From the rear terrace you can reach the large sun deck with lounge via an outside ladder. The entire boat has a circumferential rope railing. A permanently installed charcoal grill is located in the outdoor area.

You can park your car next to the harbour free of charge. A rubber dinghy (with or without motor) and a stand-up paddle can be booked and taken along on the trip.

Location and surroundings of object

The pedestrian environment

You will enjoy the wonderful and quiet natural location on the outskirts of Wesenberg. In only 200 m distance you reach a beautiful bathing place, where also your four-legged friend can go into the water. A playground is about 300 m away. Biking and hiking trails to Mirow and Neustrelitz lead directly along the harbour. The centre of Wesenberg is only a 15-minute walk away. In addition to supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries and small shops, you will also find an attractive range of leisure activities here. The cinema, lake fishermen, museum, passenger boat service, castle and bicycle rental offer plenty of variety. As the gateway to the Müritz National Park, you can start extensive cycling and hiking tours through the nature reserve directly from Wesenberg.

Beautiful vacation

For a week of pure nature, relaxation and deceleration. The two boys (8 and 16 years old) also enjoyed it. Swimming, fishing, time for family and board games.
Super organization and introduction, friendly and nice.

completely satisfied!

It was our first rafting holiday. We booked 2 weeks of adventure with a golden retriever and a 14-year-old. Our expectations were far exceeded, especially in terms of cleanliness on board, reception and instruction, as well as the entire interior. Lovingly furnished and everything thought of!
The natural harbour is very beautifully situated and the enjoyment begins there. If you want peace and quiet and simply nothing but the crew, you're in the right place. The raft life is like camping-bungalow-boat mix only better, as you can change your route at any time, move the bay or just leave your raft at just one anchor and enjoy the all-round view with the wind. We just wanted to fish (buy fishing licence and fishing permit online beforehand), swim, rest and listen to nature. Even our teenager was never too bored, hardly any desire for mobile phone & co! Sometimes NOTHING is much more than action all the time. The only problem was walking the dog, as we had to go ashore several times a day. We had then built a ramp, because the access from the water is already quite high.

a beautiful holiday

We four boys spent a week on the houseboat Floss D9 Style on the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake District. After an extensive introduction, which was very useful for the inexperienced sailor, the most important manoeuvres were practised in the presence of the instructor and corrected if necessary
The boat was equipped with all the essentials, and there was no lack of utensils in the kitchen and enough space to stow away enough shopping. Although the weather did not necessarily play into our cards, you can close transparent plastic tarpaulins on the driver's cabin with a zip, so that a trip is possible even in bad weather. However, on two days we were able to spend the nice weather on the inviting roof terrace, which was furnished with pallet furniture including cushions
There were several moorings on the many different lakes to explore the surrounding countryside, fill up the water and petrol tanks or take a shower. In our eyes, this is the only shortcoming of the whole concept. At the home port (for us it was the natural harbour Wesenberg), where we finally rented the houseboat, it is NOT possible to use the sanitary facilities free of charge (2€ per shower/toilet per person). For mooring boats that do not belong to the company, we can certainly understand charging a fee, but as tenants we found this inappropriate.
All in all, it was a very nice and relaxing holiday.
