Description

Our cosy and upscale Finn cabin with 55sqm living space offers room for a maximum of four adult guests.

In addition to the living and dining area, the kitchen and bathroom are located on the ground floor. The two bedrooms, each with two beds, are located on the upper floor

Our fitted kitchen has everything the "boss" needs on holiday. Of course, a dishwasher should not be missing here (please bring your own washing machine tabs/detergent)
The bathroom is spacious with shower/WC and equipped with a washing machine (please bring your own detergent)
The cosy living/dining area offers everything you need to feel comfortable, especially when the weather outside is not inviting you to enjoy nature
Besides the fireplace for cooler days, you can make yourself comfortable on the large corner couch and watch satellite TV, surf the internet or simply listen to the CD/radio. In one of the two bedrooms, the single beds are placed together, which is intended as a master bedroom

The approximately 600sqm garden and the spacious terrace ensure that you can enjoy the peace and relax in good weather. For the terrace (with awning) and the rest of the outdoor area, a large parasol, a garden furniture set, two deck chairs and a barbecue are at your disposal.

A large outdoor fish cleaning area for your catches is also at your disposal.

Location and surroundings of object

On the outskirts of the small village of Schwarz lies the Finnhüttensiedlung directly on the Schwarzer See lake
In the south of the Mecklenburg Kleinseenplatte, with its many natural Ice Age lakes, bordering the Müritz National Park and idyllically nestled between forest and lake, we invite you to discover this wonderful area for yourself

The holiday home, as part of a settlement, is only about 100 metres from the lake. Here you will also find the jetty where our rowing boat (4 persons) is waiting for you. A second mooring for your own small boat/canoe is also available.

A public bathing area with sandy beach, sunbathing lawn, football field and beach volleyball court can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes via a path. The black lake is known for its very clean and clear water. There is a pizzeria with a large sun terrace right next to the beach.

It is incredibly idyllic and quiet at Schwarzer See, as no motor boats are allowed (only e-motor). Nevertheless, it is connected to the federal waterway and is also a good starting point for water hikers.
Overall, there is rather little boat traffic on the lake and for anglers and paddlers the entire region is a paradise.
As passionate anglers, we have therefore designed our holiday home to meet the needs of demanding anglers. There is enough space in the garden hut for the fishing equipment and an angler's package (optionally bookable) with electric motor, echo sounder, rod holders and comfortable seats for the boat
A fish cleaning area at the back of the house is also available for gutting your fish. We kindly ask you to clean your catch only at the fish cleaning place and to dispose of fish waste in the household rubbish (please do not throw it on the compost to avoid attracting raccoons).

In addition to anglers, the Mecklenburg Lake District is particularly popular with canoeists and cyclists. There is a canoe station in Mirow that offers guided tours as well as canoe hire. Mushroom pickers also get their money's worth in the surrounding forests, some of which are very rustic.
For other activities, you will find flyers from various providers in the house. A good place to start is the tourist information office in Mirow, where you can get information about leisure activities in the Müritz region.

The village of Schwarz is about 6 km from the town of Mirow, with its beautiful castle and various shopping facilities. It is only 30 km to the "mother" of all lakes - the Müritz.

additional information about rental price:

The rental price includes all incidental costs, waste disposal, fresh dish towels, use of the rowing boat incl. oars and all freely accessible objects on the property. In the low season we charge a firewood flat rate of 20€ / week. The deposit of 250€ is to be paid with the final payment and will be transferred back directly after the acceptance on the day of departure, provided that the house has been left properly.

We only rent by the week (7 nights from Saturday to Saturday). In the low season, depending on the occupancy, you can also rent for a shorter period (minimum stay 4 nights)

The house is always professionally cleaned before each use.

Please put the yellow bag, cardboard and glass waste on the terrace when leaving on the day of departure. Our cleaning service will take care of the rest. Please dispose of kitchen waste exclusively on the composter. Thank you very much :)

The tenant declares himself liable for any damage caused by himself.

Very pleasant stay

Very well-equipped Finnish cabin, as described in the offer, with a well-maintained outdoor area. All windows have fly screens, very pleasant. Everything was very clean and worked well. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet and friendly. An information folder in the cabin clarifies everything one needs to know. Contact with the landlord is available via email, SMS, or WhatsApp, always with quick responses. What one should consider before booking is the narrow staircase leading to the sleeping area. For us, it was not a problem, but those who have difficulty walking or feel unsteady may have issues, and for people over 1.90 meters, the beds would certainly be too small.

Overall, we recommend the cabin for anyone looking for peace, wanting to be close to the water quickly, or who enjoys fishing while desiring good accommodation amenities. Fish filleting station and freezer make life easy for the angler after the catch.

Perfect fishing holiday

Super fishing vacation

Top equipment and very well-kept environment. The only drawback is the staircase to the upper floor. You should already be in good health and consider how much and what you drink in the evening because of the way to the toilet. Fly screens and shutters on all windows, and even the entrance door was mosquito-proof. We had never seen that before. Simply top.

Pure nature directly on the lake

The Finn cottage is ideal for those who like a quiet environment for their holiday. The lake and the boat, which is included in the rental price, can be reached on foot in 1-2 minutes. We had our fishing equipment with us and could therefore go out on the lake to fish every day without much trouble. As the weather was still quite cold, we heated the stove in the living room every day, which our child in particular enjoyed extremely. There was enough wood available. On Easter Monday, however, we could even use the beautiful terrace in the sunshine. The kitchen equipment must definitely be praised. There was really everything you need for cooking. There was even baking paper, aluminium foil and cling film. This is something you rarely or never find.
Everything was very clean and nicely furnished and, as is obvious with a Finnish cabin, small and cosy.
We can definitely recommend the accommodation.

Pure relaxation

The holiday home is equipped with everything you need, no wishes remain unfulfilled. Absolute top class!!!!

I can only agree with all the other reviewers here! Beautifully located, everything is included, top to bottom! Mr. Taner Demir as the landlord was always available, very accommodating and nice! Here anglers and families get their money's worth! The rowing boat sits very well in the water (with or without angler package!) and doesn't threaten to tip over like others! Very clean and well-maintained facility! The nice neighbors are also worth mentioning, from whom you get good fishing spots! We would like to thank you again for the wonderful time here and will definitely come back! Keep it up! ! !

Idyllische Finnhütte

The fully equipped Finnish cottage is absolutely quiet. The surroundings invite you to very nice walks and boat tours. In the evenings, we used the fireplace, which warmed up the whole house, including the bedrooms. Initially, we had concerns about the steep stairs, but the children managed it without problems. We had a wonderful week in this Finnish cottage and will certainly recommend it and book it again ourselves. We also thank the landlord for the very friendly exchange.

Super Finnhütte, highly recommended

We spent 7 great, relaxing, and peaceful days in this beautiful holiday home (Finnish cabin). Super property, everything in top condition, very modern and clean. We lacked nothing. We used the fishing package, everything is there that an angler needs :-)

Toller Urlaub

We spent a week on vacation there with four people. It was all as described. The house was equipped with everything you needed and was very cozy. The garden was perfect, and we could enjoy the great weather on the beautiful terrace. For small shopping trips, a car was necessary, but you could still enjoy a nice meal at the Italian restaurant located by the lake. The homeowners were also very friendly. Overall, it was a great vacation and I would recommend it again and again.

Wonderful, peaceful days

The house is very well equipped with everything you need. The condition of the furnishings is excellent. Noteworthy, among other things, is the consistent installation of fly/mosquito screens on all windows (and doors). And in the morning, you are greeted with a beautiful bird concert when waking up. The neighbors are friendly. The nearby pizzeria is good. The trip with the electric boat on the Schwarzer See was a real experience. In the house, there is a ring binder in which everything important is presented in a very clear way. Conclusion: It's best to book again for next year right away, because otherwise there might not be a slot available. Because things like that tend to spread...

This accommodation leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the tasteful, high-quality, and modern furnishings. I was particularly surprised by the fully equipped kitchen, the fireplace, the very comfortable sofa, television (although the time for it is too precious there), a spacious freezer, and a new fish cleaning area. Even at low temperatures, the house can be heated up quickly with the fireplace and air convector. Despite the proximity to the lake, mosquitoes in the house are not an issue, we were able to sleep wonderfully and mosquito-free with the window open. The insect screens throughout the house ensure that everything unwanted stays outside. The sound environment (frogs, cuckoo, owl, birds) is incredibly soothing. On the large terrace offering plenty of privacy, the evening can be particularly enjoyable. The well-maintained lawn adjacent to the terrace provides ample space for children. The accommodation is not only great for anglers to spend a few nice days, childless couples also get their money's worth. A restaurant can be reached on foot in 5 min. There are many beautiful excursion destinations in the area. With the boat included in the rental price, you can explore the nearby lake. We will definitely come back!

Happy to return!

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. The house is cosily furnished and equipped with everything you need. At least we didn't miss anything. The property is well-kept and has enough space compared to the neighboring properties. Motorboats are not allowed on the lake, so we had very relaxed fishing trips. We also made rewarding bike trips to Mirow and Wesenberg in the nearby area. Thumbs up from us.
