Description

The 3-room holiday apartment "Sommerschwalbe" (D13) is close to the beach and offers a living and dining area with warm terracotta tones.

The integrated fitted kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances and kitchen utensils. A dining table provides space for shared meals. In the living area there are a sofa and armchair as well as a flat-screen TV.

The apartment has two bedrooms: a larger room with a double bed and a smaller room with a bunk bed. Both rooms are equipped with blinds.

The terrace is directly accessible from the living area and is visually extended by the adjoining lawn.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and towel radiator.

The apartment is located in a spacious, green holiday complex with loose development. The individual areas are divided into smaller hamlets. The Baltic Sea beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Play and recreation areas are available, but arranged in such a way that the peace in the immediate residential environment is preserved.

Amenities include Wi-Fi and a parking space. In the summer months, the windows are fitted with insect screens. This is a non-smoking apartment.

The equipment is checked regularly and supplemented as needed.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday apartments at Bakenberg are located in the immediate vicinity of Nonnevitz on the Wittow peninsula in the north of the island of Rügen. Only a few steps separate them from the unspoiled Baltic Sea beach, which is one of the quieter and less frequented stretches of the island’s coast.

The surroundings are characterized by expansive meadows, coastal forest, and fresh sea air – an ideal setting for relaxation in a natural atmosphere. Away from the large seaside resorts, the location offers peace and spaciousness without having to forgo good infrastructure. Shopping facilities, a supermarket (approx. 7 km away, also open on Sundays during the season), a gas station, as well as other supply options are quickly accessible.

In the surrounding area, numerous seasonal leisure and service offers from third-party providers are available (for a fee), including restaurants, snack bars, bicycle rental, riding opportunities, and water sports offers. The offer is complemented by freely accessible facilities such as playgrounds, a football and volleyball field, as well as table tennis tables.

The region is ideal for activities such as hiking, cycling, or long walks on the beach. Excursion destinations like Cape Arkona, the chalk cliffs with the Königsstuhl, or the island’s extensive beaches are also easily accessible and offer a variety of experiences. A special highlight is the immediate proximity to the Baltic Sea: impressive sunsets are part of everyday life here. In the winter months, with a bit of luck, you can even observe the Northern Lights over the sea—a rare natural spectacle that creates unforgettable impressions.

Urlaub vom feinsten

Finally being able to go back to the beach, that alone was so nice. And everything in the apartment and surroundings was just as we had hoped for.

Super flat, super location

We liked the descriptions so much that we would have been satisfied even if only half of them had been right. The price was so interesting that we just had to book. And then the surprise :-) Description and reality match exactly! We are new fans and will gladly come again.
