The Lodge is located in the garden of the Houtenhandsche hof in the quiet countryside between Koudekerke and Dishoek on the island of Walcheren, at the end of a cul-de-sac with an unobstructed view over the fields.
The dunes and the beach of Dishoek are nearby.
Walcheren offers you all the facilities for a successful holiday. We can provide you with excellent information.

We will be happy to come back!
We had very nice days in the holiday flat. The apartment is really very nicely furnished and equipped. Everything is still very new and very comfortable. The garden and terrace invite you to linger. The sheltered corner is also perfect in stormy weather. We didn't miss anything and will probably come back again :)
The apartment is located directly on the farm of Conny and Ben and they take good care of you! Very nice landlords and they really take care of you. Be it with eggs from happy chickens or with delicious fruit from the farm ;)
The jewel of the farm is the beautifully landscaped garden, which Conny and Ben take great care of and also open for visitors on weekends. The garden is very varied with a large pond, an orchard and self-made sculptures and metal works. And of course not to forget the parrot, who only likes men ;)
Really very beautiful and worth a visit, even if you are not staying in the apartment. The entrance to the garden is directly in front of the apartment's own terrace, but this is not at all disturbing. You are not usually disturbed in the peace and quiet there and you can relax well
The apartment is about 1-2 km from the beach, but everything is within easy reach by bike. Bicycles are highly recommended because you can reach everything easily and don't need a car. There are several bakeries in the villages and plenty of shopping facilities.
The beach is also a dream. The beach pavilions, which are distributed along the beach, also invite you to have snacks and drinks and you have a beautiful view of the sea
The location is perfect for exploring the area by bike or just lazing on the beach. The smaller towns invite you to stroll around, and Middelburg and Vlissingen are also very nice.

Explore Zeeland by bike
We had booked the apartment as a starting point for cycling tours in Zeeland and for this purpose, the holiday flat is excellent. Conny and Ben Walraven, very nature-oriented, always have a listening ear for their guests and are always ready to help. You can feel that you are welcome. A park-like garden area, designed with a lot of attention to detail, is part of the property and is the flagship of Conny and Ben Walraven. The apartment is new, tastefully furnished with everything you need. Good shopping facilities for daily needs nearby. We can recommend the apartment without any restrictions.
