The Lodge is located in the garden of the Houtenhandsche hof in the quiet countryside between Koudekerke and Dishoek on the island of Walcheren, at the end of a cul-de-sac with an unobstructed view over the fields.
The dunes and the beach of Dishoek are nearby.
Walcheren offers you all the facilities for a successful holiday. We can provide you with excellent information.

Your bed is made and bathrobe, towels and kitchen linen are sufficiently present
For stays of 1 week, the towels are replaced in between.
You can bring your own horse. The stables are at 100 m. Possibility for stable or paddock or both. Including feed and cleaning out of the stable. Please check availability in advance.

We will be happy to come back!
We had very nice days in the holiday flat. The apartment is really very nicely furnished and equipped. Everything is still very new and very comfortable. The garden and terrace invite you to linger. The sheltered corner is also perfect in stormy weather. We didn't miss anything and will probably come back again :)
The apartment is located directly on the farm of Conny and Ben and they take good care of you! Very nice landlords and they really take care of you. Be it with eggs from happy chickens or with delicious fruit from the farm ;)
The jewel of the farm is the beautifully landscaped garden, which Conny and Ben take great care of and also open for visitors on weekends. The garden is very varied with a large pond, an orchard and self-made sculptures and metal works. And of course not to forget the parrot, who only likes men ;)
Really very beautiful and worth a visit, even if you are not staying in the apartment. The entrance to the garden is directly in front of the apartment's own terrace, but this is not at all disturbing. You are not usually disturbed in the peace and quiet there and you can relax well
The apartment is about 1-2 km from the beach, but everything is within easy reach by bike. Bicycles are highly recommended because you can reach everything easily and don't need a car. There are several bakeries in the villages and plenty of shopping facilities.
The beach is also a dream. The beach pavilions, which are distributed along the beach, also invite you to have snacks and drinks and you have a beautiful view of the sea
The location is perfect for exploring the area by bike or just lazing on the beach. The smaller towns invite you to stroll around, and Middelburg and Vlissingen are also very nice.

Zeeland mit dem Rad erkunden
Wir hatten die Wohnung als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren in Zeeland gebucht und für diesen Zweck ist die FeWo hervorragend geeignet. Conny und Ben Walraven, sehr natur verbunden, haben stets ein offenes Ohr für Ihre Gäste und helfen immer gerne weiter. Man spürt, dass man willkommen ist. Eine Park ähnliche, mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Gartenanlage gehört zum Anwesen und ist das Aushängeschild von Conny und Ben Walraven.
Die Wohnung ist neu, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. In der Nähe gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf.
Wir können die Wohnung ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.
