Description
The house is located in the historic center of the medieval village (pedestrian area) and is over 350 years old. It has up to 120cm thick walls and in almost all rooms cross vault. The living area is about 75 sqm plus 10 sqm terrace (sea view).
Layout: Ground floor: entrance from the lane ground floor: dining / living room, kitchen, fireplace room, terrace; 1st basement: master bedroom, anteroom (children's room with loft bed), bathroom; 2. Lower floor: guest-room / TV room, further bedroom, kl. garden
From each level you have a view over the green hills to the sea. The house is built on the hillside, so that one enters the ground floor on the street side and 2 levels deeper on the garden side.
The house is fully furnished: 4-burner gas stove, mini oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, charcoal grill, electric grill, washing machine, iron and ironing board, stereo, TV with satellite, Wi-Fi, bed and table linen and towels are available in sufficient quantity.
The house has 3 double beds plus 1 bunk bed.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located on the seaside outskirts of Pietrabruna, the lane in the middle of the village, near the church. The nearest parking is in sight about 100 meters away. It is not suitable for people with limited mobility and toddlers who are still not sure how to climb the stairs.
All other people seeking relaxation will find here an oasis beyond mass tourism.
The place Pietrabruna is located at the end of the valley, in this case rather Bergschluß, and is therefore free from through traffic. It is a very original, lively Italian place without hotels, but with 2 bars, 2 restaurants and a grocery store with bakery. There are often cultural events from opera music to rock, sporting events, guided walks, numerous village festivals with music and food
The area surrounding the village is characterized by olive crops, anemone, ranunculus and lavender fields. Here you can hike on old donkey paths. In clear weather you can see from the mountains above Pietrabruna in the south to Corsica and in the north to the 4000m Alps.
Swimming is very good in San Lorenzo (just under 10 km by road). There are many free beaches with sand or on stones and 3 bagni.
Alternatively, there is the km away waterfall with kl. Bathing lake. Water sports also in the surrounding sports harbors.
There are several golf and tennis courts.
Mountain bike tours are signposted, several lead through the village. At the sea there are on an old railway line right on the sea along a 30 km long well-developed level bike route. Bicycles can be borrowed there.
Excursions: from San Lorenzo are:
-ca. hours to Nice;
- just under 2 hours to Cannes;
- About 1 hour to Genoa
- About 1 hour to Piedmont
- 40 minutes to Monaco,
- 20 minutes to San Remo
In addition, there are numerous sightseeing opportunities, an info folder in the house gives detailed information.

Helpful and friendly landlady. Well-equipped and lovingly furnished holiday apartment in a beautiful Ligurian village. Vacationers are received friendly. We felt very comfortable!

A Ligurian Dream
The equivalent of Corleone in Sicily! A place full of life and teeming with lovable and helpful people, conveying the absolute Italian way of life! Even upon arrival, it was a great adventure to find the way to the wonderfully cool and enchanting little house through the picturesque and winding streets! We found exactly what we were looking for! Pine trees lined the road, crickets gave the evening concert. We already miss the sound of church bells. Margerita is the best hostess one can imagine! She assisted us with advice and action. She even translated when there were problems with ordering breakfast rolls at the local shop. The house was fully equipped with everything one needs as a self-caterer! Not for package tourists, only for those who really want to immerse themselves in Italian life, with everything that comes with it, this is the right place to be! Because there are the typical festivals where one feels like a resident of Pietrabruna! The whole village comes together and you are right in the middle. ❤️ Also, the daily drive through the serpentine roads was always a way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the beach and the city. In the middle of the route, there is a friendly donkey waiting, very grateful for a short stop and some petting. To conclude, we had the most beautiful vacation in a long time! Pietrabruna for Life!

Characterful cottage with a great view
After climbing the hairpin bends to Pietrabruna, you will be rewarded with a pretty, cool house with two terraces and sea views. The kitchen is well equipped. Hiking, biking, beach, culture, and good food in Liguria leave little to be desired.

Holidays in Pietrabruna
If you want to experience Italy in its purest form, you absolutely must go to the small village of Pietrabruna. The house is beautifully situated in the old village. The people there are very nice
