Description
Surrounded by beech forest and the crystal-clear waters of Lake Klein-Pritz lies the tranquil village of Kukuk. At the entrance to the village, a farmhouse from the beginning of the last century awaits you, which has been extensively renovated and has retained its old character. The house is located in the immediate vicinity of the Kukuk pine trees and large meadows, a few metres from the lake. The living space is 161 sqm on two floors. The house has five bedrooms with double beds, three bathrooms, a living room with sofa bed and a large kitchen and dining area. There is underfloor heating in all rooms.
On the ground floor there is an open modern kitchen with a large dining area, a living room and a bedroom. Up to 12 people can dine at the large dining table in a cosy atmosphere. A wide sliding door connects to the large living room with sofa bed (lying surface 1.90 x 1.50), wood-burning stove and flat screen TV. On the ground floor there is also a separate bedroom and a large bathroom with barrier-free shower.
From the kitchen/dining area, you enter through a small conservatory onto a covered terrace and into the large enclosed garden. Here there is an outdoor seating area with a large barbecue fireplace as well as a covered sandpit. On the property there is also a barn overgrown with ivy and wild vines. In the barn there is a canoe with slip cart and paddle. Within the garden there is also a paved parking area for up to five cars.
Upstairs are the remaining four bedrooms, all with beamed ceilings and some with half-timbering, and the other two bathrooms.
All bedrooms are equipped with insect screens and blackout blinds.
The house is situated at the entrance to the village. Only on the western boundary of the property is another residential property adjoining. So you are not looking at concrete, but at meadows and woods. Your neighbours are all kinds of wild and water birds, horses and cattle.
Just across the road is a small path that leads to the lake. At the end of the path you will find the Kukuk jetty. This is also where the rowing boat belonging to the house is moored.

Kukuk is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, the land of fishermen and breakthrough valleys, characterised by around 100 lakes. Use your holiday to explore this wealth. Vast forests and lakes, rolling fields and meadows, a varied landscape. In addition, there are churches, monasteries, castles, cottages and museums that bear witness to the creative work of the people of Mecklenburg. All this is waiting to be discovered by you. The state capital Schwerin and the Baltic Sea with the Hanseatic city of Wismar are also only about 45 km away. An idyllic place, surrounded by forest and lake, in the middle of the unspoilt landscape of the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, that is Kukuk. Since there are no major roads, there is no through traffic
In summer, the lake, which is only 200 m from the house, undoubtedly exerts the greatest attraction on those seeking recreation. In spring and autumn, friends of long hikes get their money's worth. In winter, fun tobogganing tours are on offer, weather permitting. And of course, people also like to spend the holidays in Kukuk.

Wunderschön!
Es war wunderschön hier. Wir waren wandern, im Schweriner Schloss, Karls Erdbeerhof und vieles mehr. Wir waren mit 8 Personen eine Woche hier.

traumhafte Natur

Three generations under one roof
We had a wonderful family vacation together. We made use of pretty much everything and were able to explore the beautiful nature with the bicycles. We felt very comfortable in the modern and well-equipped house. Maybe we will come back to this area again and definitely stay in the "Ohnesorge" house.

Finally a house with a large garden.
The spring-like cuckoo presented itself to us at its best. The sun was shining, the cuckoo was singing, the meadows were blooming. We explored the forests and the lake with our dog Janosch and enjoyed the absolute peace. Finally a house with a large, fenced garden where Janosch can run and play.

highly recommended
We spent a week's holiday here with 4 generations. Unfortunately, some had to end their holiday early because of Corona. The rest of the family was still able to enjoy a few nice days. We didn't want for anything. The house has everything you need. If you want it to be quiet and relaxing, this is the place for you. This house is also ideal for children. Because the property is self-contained, they can let off steam and play independently on the property. We would be happy to recommend the house to others and to come back ourselves.

Toller Geburtstagsurlaub
3 Generationen aus Forst/Lausitz, Bad Harzburg, Ingolstadt und Berlin verbrachten hier ein paar schöne Tage. Ein 80. Geburtstag wurde gefeiert und am Vatertag hatten die „Herren“ der Runde viel Spaß beim Skat spielen. Leider hat das Wetter nicht so mitgespielt (viel Regen und Sturm) und auch die Fische waren nicht so „beißfreudig“. Trotzdem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit. Das Haus bietet jeglichen Komfort, Grill und Boote wurden genutzt und es wurde viel gespielt und gelacht. Wir werden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

Kukuk, Ostern 2022
Wir (7 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) sagen Danke für eine schöne Zeit mit dem tollsten Osterwetter. Die Familie kam aus allen Ecken der Republik hier zusammen. Es wurde gebastelt, gespielt (bis spät in die Nacht) und natürlich im großen Garten Ostereier gesucht. Das Haus werden wir gerne weiter empfehlen.

Sonniger März Urlaub
Wir kamen hier an aus der großen Stadt,
2 Autos voll Kram, was jeder so hat.

Kukuk, Kukuk ruft`s aus Mc Pom
Welch ein schöner abgelegener Ort und welch ein noch schöneres Ferienhaus.
In einer schwierigen Zeit mit 2G+ haben wir (2 Omas, 2 Mamas, 2 Papas, 4 Kinder) ein wunderschönes Adventswochenende erlebt. Wir haben Schwarzwäler Kirschtorte, Tutti-Frutti Torte, Cup Cake und ein Stollen-Trio gehabt. Als Krönung wurden noch von den 4 Wenzel Jungs (2, 4, 6 & 6 Jahre) frische Plätzchen gebacken.
Ein weiteres Highlight war eine Kanufahrt auf dem See.

Ferienhaus Ohnesorge in Kukuk
Im ruhigen Dorf Kukuk war es für uns 4 Paare mit Fahrrädern die ideale Unterkunft. Platz und Raum für jeden, auch für gemeinsames Beisammensein . Alles für den Aufenthalt benötigte, auch bei hohen Temperaturen, ist im Angebot. Fliegenschutz vom Feinsten.
Für den kleinen Wassersport auf dem See waren die angebotenen Boote super.
Gerne wieder, aber dann mit E-Bike da die hüglige Gegend Kräfte benötigt.

Wunscherschönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage
Wir hatten dieses Ferienhaus als Großfamilie gemietet und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist liebevoll renoviert und bot uns 8 Personen viel Platz zum Leben miteinander und zum Erholen. Das Außengelände ist auch recht groß und schuf auch hier Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen, der See ist nur 150m entferntnt.

Toller Urlaub mit 3 Generationen
Wir (3 Generationen) hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man mit Kindern unterwegs ist, ist der Erdbeerhof in Rövershagen. Das Ferienhaus hat uns allen super gut gefallen und wir werden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben es letzlich verworfen, weil die Sicherheit der Kleinkinder damit nicht in jedem Fall steigt und es nicht in die Struktur der Treppe eingefügt werden kann.

Ein Schloß für 5 Personen
Liebe Familie Ohnesorge,
es klingt witzig, wenn man sagt: „Wir fahren ins Haus „Ohnesorge“ nach Kukuk in der Lindenstraße.“
Aber so ist es:
- idyllisch gelegen
- ein tolles saniertes Haus (was für uns 5 Personen schon eher ein Schloß ist)
- ländliche Ruhe
- viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in naher Umgebung
- schöne Stunden am Kamin
- Zeit zum Spielen und Lesen
Es ist alles da, was man braucht um auszuspannen, auch wenn draußen „Sabine“ weht.
(P.S. Das W-Lan hätte es nicht gebraucht.)
