Short vacation in nature!

I would like to highly praise the stay at the fishing farm; the holiday apartment is very well equipped, everything is very clean and tidy, you have everything you need. Located very close to the water, fully in nature, very idyllic, you could fish, go boating, and take walks. The central location to Wismar, Schwerin, and the Baltic Sea offers many excursion possibilities. I especially want to commend all the staff at the farm, the fisherman himself, the staff from the snack bar, etc. So it was a successful short vacation even with our little dog Rudi and we would like to come back again. Super holiday apartment, great location right by the lake. Host Fischer Prignitz is a great guy, despite the many tasks, he engages with his holiday guests and even joins the group sometimes. We learned a lot about fishing because of that.

Beautiful holiday home for fishing holidays.

The apartment had everything we needed for our vacation. The location right by the lake was also great.
The communication with the landlord was great, it was impressive how on the one hand the fishing operations and on the other hand the wishes of the guests were taken into account.

Apartment nice, bright, clean! The landlords accessible and very, very helpful. I fell ill and was helped quickly, prudently and uncomplicatedly - thank you. The location to Schwerin and Wismar as well as to the Baltic Sea is great. If you like to eat fish, this is the right place - especially with reasonably priced offers. The upcoming construction activity is a bit unfortunate - but quite bearable. I can only recommend the apartment.

A great spot on earth! The vacation apartment is situated quietly, was very clean and equipped with everything necessary. The terrace for vacation guests to linger and fish is also very nice. The smokehouse and the fish stand on the premises are of course very convenient. Fishing permit included and a more than fair rental price for the motor for the boat round it off. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back.

Friendly hosts. Very interesting - with Fischer Prignitz on the lake.
You also didn't have to go hungry........ fresh fish on the table every day.

Very idyllic location

The Fischerhof is located directly on the Scheriner See lake. The view is enough to make you dream and forget all your worries for a few moments.
Also very suitable with furry noses.
If you like fish, you are in the right place.
Super location, because from there you can quickly reach the Baltic Sea and visit all the towns there

Relaxed holiday

We received a friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. The flat is functional and sufficiently furnished. Our two dogs also found their place. In autumn you can have a cup of tea/coffee on the terrace and watch the sea birds, or you can take the rowing boat out. Highly recommended for nature lovers.

Bed too low for elderly and mattresses too soft.

Holiday apartment Barsch in the fisherman's farm Seeblick

We had expected more than what was stated in the description. Our apartment needs some improvements:
- The coffee maker had to be turned on at least half an hour before (could at least be descaled - preferably: replaced)
- The television set was a disaster (channel positions changed constantly on their own. If you had carefully memorized a few programs, you were lost, as the arrangement had changed)
- The cleanliness of the apartment was lacking (floors clearly not cleaned properly and overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired) ARD found on program slot 60, an hour later it was occupied by RTL and ARD could then maybe be found after a long search on 213) Should perhaps be renewed - doesn't cost the world
- Ceramic hobs on the stove also took forever (15-20 minutes to heat water for boiling eggs)
- Table leg, chair legs, door handle, towel holder were loose
Everything seemed to indicate: Rental is a self-runner. The offered ride share with the fisherman from the description was promised but not fulfilled despite multiple inquiries.
The demeanor of the "boss" was not always guest-friendly.
Another note for anglers: fishing is not possible.

Right by the lake - breakfast in front of the house.

A great little vacation apartment right by the fisherman and therefore right by the lake. The 3 stars for the equipment should only reflect that it is a simple vacation apartment, for sleeping, cooking, showering, and... completely sufficient. We were there for fishing, bought fish, watched the smoking process, went on a motorboat, and had breakfast in front of the house, as the sun was shining directly on us... From May 1st, the snack bar is open, so I wouldn't even have to cook myself anymore...

Varied or peaceful, there is something for everyone!

Very nice contact and totally uncomplicated. Always someone on site. Ideal for fishing holidays, but also many attractions nearby. Directly on Lake Schwerin. Overall very diverse and basically something for everyone! However, it's best to book from May onwards, then the snack bar is also open, and the fish bite better ;-)

Fishing holiday at the Fischerhof

The holiday home is located on the grounds of the fishery with fish sale and snack bar. Ideally located for fishing enthusiasts with boat. Separately at the Schwerin Obersee there are chairs and tables outside. You can go hiking and cycling or visit the nearby state capital Schwerin by car. The Wiligrad castle and park are definitely worth a visit.

Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff. They cater to requests. The fish is very delicious. Unfortunately, the fishing results were poor. Schwerin and Wismar are easily accessible in a short time. Would gladly return.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

The Fischerhof Prignitz is highly recommended! Clean and well-equipped vacation apartment, even with a dishwasher. The area is very picturesque; in the village, for instance, is the oldest church in all of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. There is a fish snack bar right there, very tasty and all fresh! Our 9-year-old son was allowed to go out with the fisherman, pull in nets, etc. (several times), which was more than a highlight for him! Very nice people. We will definitely vacation there again, it was simply great and you immediately felt welcome! We also went fishing there and the fish we caught was smoked by the landlord for us... simply fantastic there, everything was perfect. A lake bath is within walking distance, free and clean. You can swim directly in Lake Schwerin, also very suitable for young children as there is a non-swimmer area cordoned off. Definitely something for everyone! Action and relaxation in the perfect combination!

The location is actually quite good, but it's always very busy because of the kiosk. The facilities could be better, and having the children sleep in the living room on the couch is no longer up-to-date.

The snack bar is great. Especially the fries. I have never eaten such good ones before. The fish was also good. The owner's information regarding fishing was very sparse. Without an echo sounder and precise knowledge of the waters, no chance. In late autumn, you should catch well if you know your way around. I was present for 14 days and caught nothing. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Great, personal, and good value for money.

Fischer Prgnitz and Son are very friendly, courteous, provide a lot of information about the lake and nature, and are immediately available to solve any problems. The briefing on the boat and motor was very comprehensive and good. The location by the water is simply fantastic, and trips to Schwerin and Wismar are doable in 30 minutes. What could be improved is the function of the TV program (mostly just disturbances, no TV possible in bad weather) and a (free) WLAN could be provided because the cell phone reception is very poor. Overall 4.7 out of 5 points, I would gladly come back.
