Our apartment is located in a beautiful private house in a prime residential area on the edge of the Cologne forest. Both rooms face the forest, therefore absolutely quiet. There are 2 beds in the bedroom, in the living room a sofa bed and a sleeper couch. All furniture is comfortable. There is a TV with cable connection in the living room, and a cable connection in the bedroom. Central heating. Laminate floors. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a shower bath. The beds are freshly made upon arrival. Towels available and included in the price (change weekly upon request). Sauna in the house. Washing and drying facilities available (charged extra). Ideal for vacationers, trade fair visitors and exhibitors, visitors to cultural and sporting events. We provide travel guides, city maps, and timetables. There is a novel library as well as extensive material about the city of Cologne in the apartment. Charging of electric cars is possible at the house or publicly 150 m away. The apartment is located on the green outskirts of Cologne in a well-kept residential area. Wildlife park, outdoor pool, and mini golf are within a few minutes’ walk. There are fast connections to the trade fair, the Cologne Arena, or the city center. You are also quickly on the highways. A bus stop is 80 m away, the train station is 1200 m away. No traffic noise. Cologne is a city of culture, sports, and trade fairs. There are countless sightseeing opportunities; there are also attractive options for children, such as visits to the zoo, the chocolate museum, and last but not least, Phantasialand.

The apartment is in a very quiet location and equipped with all necessities. Public transportation is easily accessible. In the immediate vicinity, there is a playground, and you are right next to the wildlife park for walks. Everything is great.

Great vacation apartment for an active break from everyday life.
We – an older couple from Allgäu – have treated ourselves to a New Year's getaway. My wife has always wanted to get to know Cologne. The apartment offers everything you need for a short escape from everyday life. The connection to public transport is great. Thus, the apartment is also ideal for a holiday without a car. The landlords are happy to provide advice and explanations regarding this. The edge location of the house and the associated quietness must be experienced. No street noise, no trains, in the morning when the world awakens, one awaits the chirping of birds. For people who prefer hustle and bustle, this idyll is not necessarily recommended. My wife loves it – thanks to my deep breathing – to sleep alone in a room. This is also no problem thanks to the sofa bed in the living room. I myself was delighted with the height of the bed. With my weight, I often lie in a dip. Not so here in the vacation rental: the entry was accessible with normal seating. Thank you very much to the landlords for this. The kitchen is adequately equipped and is completely sufficient for breakfast or a snack in the evening. The bathroom has a shower; we also don't have a bathtub at home, so it's totally fine for us. All in all, a successful stay in the vacation rental near the wildlife park. There are plenty of walking opportunities, and there are restaurants nearby. Without objection
We really can't complain. Mrs. Winkin was very nice and accommodating. Furthermore, this accommodation is pleasantly cool even with outside temperatures of 32 degrees. Those looking for a budget-friendly place to stay are very well advised with this one. We have decided to stay longer than just 3 nights next time. There is excellent public transport as it runs every 20 minutes. So more than just recommended if you don't want to stay directly in Cologne but still want good access to the city.

Super vacation apartment! ☀️? #holiday #travel #summer
We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and comprehensively informed about all important details. The apartment was clean, tidy, and perfect for our short stay. However, it would also be highly recommended for a longer stay. Shopping options, including a bakery, are in close proximity. It is also very convenient that one can park the car directly in front of the gate. The city center is easily accessible by both car and public transport, which is also not far away.
My brother and I were very satisfied with the apartment and can highly recommend it, especially due to its very quiet location. We give a full recommendation for this apartment.

Alles super.
Meine Gattin wollte schon immer einmal Köln kennenlernen.
Die FeWo bietet alles was man zum kurzfristigen Ausstieg aus dem Alltag braucht.
Anbindung an die Öffis ist klasse. Somit ist die Wohnung auch für Urlaub ohne Auto ideal.
Die Vermieter stehen hierzu gerne mit Rat und Erklärungen zur Verfügung.
Die Randlage des Hauses und die damit verbundene Ruhe muss man erlebt haben.
Kein Straßenlärm, keine Eisenbahn, Morgens wenn die Welt erwacht erwartet einen
Vogelgezwitscher. Für Menschen die den Umtrieb oder Rummel bevorzugen ist dieses Idyll
nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen. Meine Gattin liebt es - dank meiner tiefen Atmung - alleine
in einem Zimmer zu schlafen. Auch das ist dank Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer kein Problem.
Ich selbst war von der Höhe des Bettes begeistert. Bei meinen Kilos liege ich oft in einer Kuhle.
Nicht so hier in der FeWo : der Einstieg war mit normalem Sitzen möglich. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter hierfür. Küche ist zweckgebunden ausgestattet und reicht für ein Frühstück oder einen
Imbiss am Abend völlig aus. Das Bad hat eine Dusche, wir haben zuhause auch keine Wanne, für uns
geht das mehr als in Ordnung. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt in der FeWo am Wildpark.
Spaziermöglichkeiten sind zu Hauf vorhanden, es gibt Restaurants in der Nähe. Noch einmal vielen Dank, Erika und Horst aus Füssen
Also mehr als nur empfehlenswert wenn man nicht direkt in Köln Unterkommen möchte aber doch eine gute Anbindung zur Stadt haben will.
Mein Bruder und ich waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, insbesondere aufgrund ihrer sehr ruhigen Lage. Wir sprechen eine volle Empfehlung für diese Wohnung aus.
WLAN und Fernseher haben auch gut funktioniert.
Wir haben super geschlafen und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden.
Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel auch am Wochenende gut.

Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag ist man abends froh, die Ruhe in dieser herrlichen Wohnung genießen zu können. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr nette Gastgeber mit Tipps für die Freizeitgestaltung in einer denkwürdigen Karnevalssaison.

1 Schlafzimmer, Wohnraum als 2tes Schlafzimmer fuer ab zu 3 Personen,
Funktionelle Kueche,
Duschbad,
Seperater Eingang,
Parkmoeglichkeit vor Tuer.
Schoener gepflegter Garten, welcher wir waehrend unser Anwesenheit nutzen konnten.
Die Schlafraeume sind hell,
Kueche benoetigt Licht.
Bad hat kein Fenster aber Ventilation.
Cons:
Treppe ist nicht einfach zu gehen mit Gepaeck,
Microwelle waere sehr hilfreich fuer die Kueche,
Wifi ist nicht wirklich stark fuer Skype oder andere Nutzung.
Waschmaschine und Trockner kosten extra.
Wir hatten eine sehr schoene Zeit, Lage ist sehr Erholsam, Wildpark durch den Hintergarten und durch die Buesche. Verkehrsanbindung ist gut, Einkaufsmoeglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Naehe.

Kommen gerne wieder und wir empfehlen die Wohnung auch sehr gerne weiter.
Leider sind jedoch die Betten und Liegen allenfalls für junge Leute geeignet, die auch gut auf Luftmatratzen liegen und schlafen können. Zudem mussten wir feststellen, dass es anscheinen Probleme mit der Feuchtigkeit gibt. Trotz der in jedem Zimmer aufgestellten Luftentfeuchter lag die Luftfeuchtigkeit bei über 80% und es roch dementsprechend. Über den Service können wir nicht viel sagen, da er sichder Kontakt bei uns auf die jeweilige Übergabe (An und Abreise) beschränkte, was wir wo anders schon weitaus freundlicher erlebt haben.
Schade eine vom ersten Blick und der Lage (sehr ruhig) sehr vielversprechende Wohnung, die leider dieses Versprechen nicht hält.
