DaHeim is super centrally located in the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne and is a single-family house in the typical 3-window house style.

The four unusually furnished bedrooms (room size 12-18 sqm each) with attention to detail - from modern to shabby chic for 3-9 persons are located on two floors.
The centre of the house is a fully equipped kitchen and a feel-good living room (approx. 30 sqm) with a small selection of games, DVDs and books that (hopefully) leave nothing to be desired in DaHeim. A shared bathroom (with shower) & an additional guest toilet complete the offer.
Two of the four rooms have a large bed (à 1,40x2,00m). The other two rooms are equipped with two beds (each 90 x 2.00m). Bedside tables and lamps, wardrobes or chests of drawers as well as mirrors and other storage facilities are also included. In one of the rooms an extra bed for an additional adult can be provided.
LCD TV, DVD player and a small selection of DVDs can be found in some rooms.
The kitchen is small but nice (approx. 8sqm, open to the living room) and equipped ready to move in only with a suitcase. The equipment includes two hotplates (induction), oven, microwave, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, fridge & freezer, toaster, raclette machine, sandwich maker, popcorn machine and and and).
Optimal for working: free high speed WiFi included ( Kbit/s.).
Perfect location:
In the immediate vicinity you will find public transport (2 min walk to the Leyendecker Strasse stop only a few minutes to the city centre or to the trade fair - 900 m to Ehrenfeld station), unusual shopping opportunities through to various gastronomic and nightlife locations.
Prices depend on number of persons and duration: from 150 Euro for up to 6 persons/night, for each additional person 10 Euro/night surcharge.
Prices include bed linen, towels and all taxes.
We only rent out the entire house (approx. 115sqm).
Family offers
Travelling with children does not always have to mean travelling with big luggage! For families with small and big children we of course offer travel cots (these cost 15 Euro/stay each). The following products are available free of charge (on request): Baby monitor, bottle steriliser and bottle warmer, as well as plastic bowls, cutlery and cups, sippy cups and porridge spoons. High chair, play bow & playpen can also be provided. There is a stool in the bathroom for the slightly older ones to brush their teeth at the basin. We also provide a small selection of games and books.
We can provide all these things on request. Please be sure to mention this when booking!

Our house is located in the middle of the lively district of Ehrenfeld in Cologne. Over the last five years, Ehrenfeld has transformed itself from a poor working-class district into a sought-after residential centre - and not just for artists, creative people or students. Young families in particular have ensured that the face of the district has changed completely. Although construction is going on in many places, Ehrenfeld has retained its urban face and has become the centre of a lively nightlife scene
In the immediate vicinity of DaHeim there are two supermarkets (Aldi & Netto) as well as various smaller Turkish and also a Chinese shop/supermarket (the latter not far from Ehrenfeld station). Only 25 metres away is a small Italian supermarket that offers the usual Italian ingredients as well as always fresh bread and delicious Italian cold cuts and delicatessen.

Cancellation terms:
Cancellation 3 months in advance: no cost. Cancellation up to 6 weeks in advance: 50% of the rental loss. Cancellation thereafter (i.e., less than 6 weeks): 100% of the rental loss. Of course, something can always come up. And certainly, our business model is not based on making money from cancellations. Should you need to cancel, we will always try to re-rent the house. Therefore, we will only charge you the difference between your cancellation and any new rentals we are able to secure, if possible. You are also welcome to nominate replacement guests who can take over your booking on a binding basis. Please note that a cancellation has not occurred until it has been confirmed by us in writing (by email). For legitimate reasons, we reserve the right to withdraw from the contract extraordinarily, for instance (but not exclusively) if force majeure or other uncontrollable circumstances occur (don’t worry - this has never happened before).

The underground station "Leyendeckerstrasse" is a 2-minute walk away and offers very good connections to the city with lines 3 & 4 (every 5 minutes on weekdays).
No need to change trains due to direct connections:
- Friesenplatz (Belgian Quarter/Rings): in 6 minutes
- Neumarkt (inner city): in 10 minutes or 7 stops
- Messe Deutz: 17 minutes or 9 stops
The nearby Ehrenfeld railway station makes it easy to travel to the venue by Deutsche Bahn and to transfer from Cologne-Bonn Airport.
