In just a few minutes you can reach one of the most beautiful large landscapes in Central Europe - the Müritz National Park. Let yourself drift and relax, enjoy the view as far as the horizon. The habitats of the richly structured landscape include a great variety of species. More than 800 butterfly and 1500 beetle species are known.
But also 12 different species of birds of prey (including ospreys and white-tailed eagles), as well as cormorants, grey herons and cranes, can be excellently observed here. Dive into green avenues by bike, cycle through wide forests, over heath and fields. Cycle past lakes and canals, along sections of the new Berlin - Copenhagen cycle route and the "Ice Age Route". In the evening, sit in front of your bungalow or holiday flat in our Pelzkuhl holiday park, barbecue, enjoy and relax from a wonderful day in our lake district. There, where the high sky stretches over wide forests, crystal-clear lakes and the course of the river Havel, is the small village of Pelzkuhl in the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Unique, unspoilt landscapes, idyllic towns and villages, as well as cultural experiences in Neustrelitz, Wesenberg, Fürstenberg or Rheinsberg await visitors to our holiday region.
