If "unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances" occur (e.g. Austria does not allow tenants to enter due to Corona measures) you can withdraw from the rental contract free of charge before the start of the rental period. Any down payments will be refunded in full. The same applies vice versa if a ban on accommodation is imposed on us as landlords and we are unable to carry out the bookings. In this case too, we will refund 100% of the rental price paid or the deposit paid and are not obliged to provide the service.
Detached holiday home on a hill above the district town of Feldkirchen in Carinthia. To the north are the foothills of the Gurktaler Alps, to the south the Karawanken.
Detached holiday bungalow on approx. 1000 square meters of land.
The cosy holiday home offers a large living room with Carinthian farmhouse furniture. In addition, there is a large kitchen, two master bedrooms and a small children's room with bunk beds. The bathroom and toilet are separate from each other. The 1000 sqm garden has a garden house, a barbecue area, an outdoor terrace and the possibility to play badminton, volleyball or frisbee. Sports facilities: Sailing, horseback riding, tennis, golf, fishing, water sports in the immediate vicinity. Bathing lakes like the Flatschacher See are in approx. 1 km distance, the Maltschacher See in approx. 3 km, the Ossiacher See in approx. 6 km and the Wörther See in approx. 15 km. There are many hiking possibilities either directly from the house or in the surrounding area.
No renting in the winter months.

Any advance payments will be fully refunded. The same applies vice versa if a prohibition on providing accommodation is imposed on us as landlords and we cannot carry out the bookings. Here too, we will refund 100% of the paid rent or advance payment, and we are not obliged to provide the service. Generally speaking: The tenant can cancel the rental agreement up to 60 days before the agreed start of the rental period. In this case, the deposit will be forfeited unless another rental is possible, which the Arnold family will promptly attempt to organize. If cancellation occurs later, the full rent must be paid, although attempts will again be made to rent out the property. In the event of force majeure, which makes it impossible to hand over the house to the tenants, the landlord is only liable for the costs of the rent.

Active vacation at the Arnold holiday home – a bull's-eye!
I spent an active sports holiday with my family at the Arnold family's holiday home – and we are absolutely thrilled! As a passionate cyclist and triathlete, I was looking for a place that offers both relaxation and ideal training conditions. We found exactly that here.
Fully satisfied with the sports offerings
The surroundings are a dream for endurance athletes: varied cycling routes, quiet running paths, and crystal-clear swimming lakes for swimming sessions. I was able to perfectly integrate my triathlon training into my daily routine – and enjoy the beautiful nature at the same time. The hilly landscape not only challenged me physically but also inspired me mentally.
Feeling good in the holiday home
The holiday home itself is cozy, lovingly furnished, and offers everything one needs: three bedrooms, modern amenities, and a large garden where we could relax and grill in the evenings. The children had space to play, my wife enjoyed the peace – and I the carport for my bike.
Everything nearby – and yet in the middle of nature
I particularly appreciated the proximity to local farms, where we could buy fresh products. Feldkirchen is quickly accessible, and trips to Klagenfurt or Villach were also easily possible. The Heidialm and the Magic Forest were highlights for our children.
This vacation was a complete success for me and my family. The Arnold holiday home is the perfect starting point for sporting adventures and at the same time a place of relaxation. I challenged myself physically, recharged mentally, and experienced unforgettable days with my family.

Vacation paradise for the whole family – Holiday home Carinthia of the Arnold family
Our stay at the Arnold family's holiday home in Carinthia was simply dreamy! The lovingly furnished holiday home is idyllically located above Feldkirchen and offers a wonderful view of the Karawanken – a true natural cinema right at the doorstep.
Family friendliness at its best
With three bedrooms, the house is perfect for families – we were traveling with two adults and two children and had more than enough space. The large garden invites you to play and relax. Our little ones were particularly excited about the nearby farm, where they could fetch fresh milk daily, and about trips to the Heidialm and the Magic Forest at Rauschelsee.
Sports and nature right at the doorstep
The surroundings are a paradise for us active vacationers: hiking, cycling, and swimming in the nearby bathing lakes – everything in close proximity. Those who crave more action will find numerous leisure activities in the nearby cities of Klagenfurt and Villach, such as bowling, swimming pools, and even theaters.
Cooking like at home – only nicer
The kitchen in the holiday home is well-equipped and invites you to cook together. With fresh ingredients from the region – for example, from the farm – we created culinary highlights every evening. The rustic ambiance of the house makes dining twice as cozy. Conclusion

Wonderful late summer in the mountains
We spent a lovely three-generation holiday (my wife and I, our daughter with her husband, and our grandson) at the Arnold holiday home.
The Heidi-Alm was the highlight for our grandson. We enjoyed the Römerbad in Bad Kleinkirchheim, but above all, we went on many hikes in the mountains.
In the evenings, we had delicious grilled food and sat in the garden with a glass of red wine. The house is excellent for families.

Family vacation as we imagine it!
With two small children (1 and 3) and a teenager (13), it is not always easy to find accommodation that meets all our requirements. Everything was perfect at the Arnold holiday home! The Arnold family provided us with a crib for the children. Our three-year-old loved the bunk bed (she lived in her "cave"), and our 13-year-old was glad that he could use the Wi-Fi extensively (there is no volume limit in the house).
We parents enjoyed ourselves in the garden and also went on beautiful trips with the whole family. For example, we went to the Heide-Alm, to Burg Hochosterwitz, and for swimming in Lake Ossiach.
We will definitely come back!

Great house in a super location
A very nice, quietly situated house with a large garden and a great view of the mountains! The house is top equipped. We spent a wonderful time here with our children. We enjoyed the fresh air very much. You can go on great hikes from the house, e.g. to the Flatschacher See lake. Other hiking destinations in the area were on the Turracher Höhe and the Finsterbach waterfalls on Lake Ossiach. Simply fantastic. We would love to come back again.
