Any down payments will be refunded in full. The same applies vice versa if a ban on accommodation is imposed on us as landlords and we are unable to carry out the bookings. In this case too, we will refund 100% of the rental price paid or the deposit paid and are not obliged to provide the service.
Detached holiday home on a hill above the district town of Feldkirchen in Carinthia. To the north are the foothills of the Gurktaler Alps, to the south the Karawanken.

The cosy holiday home offers a large living room with Carinthian farmhouse furniture. In addition, there is a large kitchen, two master bedrooms and a small children's room with bunk beds. The bathroom and toilet are separate from each other. The 1000 sqm garden has a garden house, a barbecue area, an outdoor terrace and the possibility to play badminton, volleyball or frisbee. Sports facilities: Sailing, horseback riding, tennis, golf, fishing, water sports in the immediate vicinity. Bathing lakes like the Flatschacher See are in approx. 1 km distance, the Maltschacher See in approx. 3 km, the Ossiacher See in approx. 6 km and the Wörther See in approx. 15 km. There are many hiking possibilities either directly from the house or in the surrounding area.
No renting in the winter months.

Any advance payments will be fully refunded. The same applies vice versa if a prohibition on providing accommodation is imposed on us as landlords and we cannot carry out the bookings. Here too, we will refund 100% of the paid rent or advance payment, and we are not obliged to provide the service. Generally speaking: The tenant can cancel the rental agreement up to 60 days before the agreed start of the rental period. In this case, the deposit will be forfeited unless another rental is possible, which the Arnold family will promptly attempt to organize. If cancellation occurs later, the full rent must be paid, although attempts will again be made to rent out the property. In the event of force majeure, which makes it impossible to hand over the house to the tenants, the landlord is only liable for the costs of the rent.

Experience nature instead of just talking about it.
We spent a wonderful vacation week as a family in the Arnold holiday home and especially appreciated how naturally nature, movement, and family time come together here.
The day already began in the morning with a view of the mountains and the feeling of being far away from hustle and traffic. Our children were outside almost all day: playing in the large garden, discovering animals on the surrounding farms, or exploring the many paths and small adventures in the area together. It was nice to experience how little entertainment needed to be "organized" because nature itself offers plenty of opportunities.
For us as parents, it was especially valuable that movement here automatically becomes part of the vacation. Whether a walk after breakfast, a hike in the Nock Mountains, a bike ride through the gentle hilly landscape, or a jump into one of the many lakes – you are constantly active without it feeling like exercise.
The holiday home offers the ideal retreat. It is very clean, well-equipped, and provides enough space for everyone to have their own room. After our outings, we were able to relax on the terrace in the evenings while the children played in the garden.
What we particularly liked was that the region offers families real nature experiences. Instead of queues and overcrowded attractions, shared discoveries, outdoor activities, and valuable family time are the focus here. Whoever wants to show their children how beautiful a vacation in nature can be, and at the same time seeks relaxation for themselves, will find the perfect starting point here.
We took home many beautiful memories and are very happy to return.

Active vacation at the Arnold holiday home – a bull's-eye!
I spent an active sports holiday with my family at the Arnold family's holiday home – and we are absolutely thrilled! As a passionate cyclist and triathlete, I was looking for a place that offers both relaxation and ideal training conditions. We found exactly that here.
Fully satisfied with the sports offerings
The surroundings are a dream for endurance athletes: varied cycling routes, quiet running paths, and crystal-clear swimming lakes for swimming sessions. I was able to perfectly integrate my triathlon training into my daily routine – and enjoy the beautiful nature at the same time. The hilly landscape not only challenged me physically but also inspired me mentally.
Feeling good in the holiday home
The holiday home itself is cozy, lovingly furnished, and offers everything one needs: three bedrooms, modern amenities, and a large garden where we could relax and grill in the evenings. The children had space to play, my wife enjoyed the peace – and I the carport for my bike.
Everything nearby – and yet in the middle of nature
I particularly appreciated the proximity to local farms, where we could buy fresh products. Feldkirchen is quickly accessible, and trips to Klagenfurt or Villach were also easily possible. The Heidialm and the Magic Forest were highlights for our children.
This vacation was a complete success for me and my family. The Arnold holiday home is the perfect starting point for sporting adventures and at the same time a place of relaxation. I challenged myself physically, recharged mentally, and experienced unforgettable days with my family.

Vacation paradise for the whole family – Holiday home Carinthia of the Arnold family
Our stay at the Arnold family's holiday home in Carinthia was simply dreamy! The lovingly furnished holiday home is idyllically located above Feldkirchen and offers a wonderful view of the Karawanken – a true natural cinema right at the doorstep.
Family friendliness at its best
With three bedrooms, the house is perfect for families – we were traveling with two adults and two children and had more than enough space. The large garden invites you to play and relax. Our little ones were particularly excited about the nearby farm, where they could fetch fresh milk daily, and about trips to the Heidialm and the Magic Forest at Rauschelsee.
Sports and nature right at the doorstep
The surroundings are a paradise for us active vacationers: hiking, cycling, and swimming in the nearby bathing lakes – everything in close proximity. Those who crave more action will find numerous leisure activities in the nearby cities of Klagenfurt and Villach, such as bowling, swimming pools, and even theaters.
Cooking like at home – only nicer
The kitchen in the holiday home is well-equipped and invites you to cook together. With fresh ingredients from the region – for example, from the farm – we created culinary highlights every evening. The rustic ambiance of the house makes dining twice as cozy. Conclusion

Wonderful late summer in the mountains
We spent a lovely three-generation holiday (my wife and I, our daughter with her husband, and our grandson) at the Arnold holiday home.
The Heidi-Alm was the highlight for our grandson. We enjoyed the Römerbad in Bad Kleinkirchheim, but above all, we went on many hikes in the mountains.
In the evenings, we had delicious grilled food and sat in the garden with a glass of red wine. The house is excellent for families.

Family vacation as we imagine it!
With two small children (1 and 3) and a teenager (13), it is not always easy to find accommodation that meets all our requirements. Everything was perfect at the Arnold holiday home! The Arnold family provided us with a crib for the children. Our three-year-old loved the bunk bed (she lived in her "cave"), and our 13-year-old was glad that he could use the Wi-Fi extensively (there is no volume limit in the house).
We parents enjoyed ourselves in the garden and also went on beautiful trips with the whole family. For example, we went to the Heide-Alm, to Burg Hochosterwitz, and for swimming in Lake Ossiach.
We will definitely come back!

Schon morgens begann der Tag mit einem Blick auf die Berge und dem Gefühl, sich fernab von Hektik und Verkehr zu befinden. Unsere Kinder waren fast den ganzen Tag draußen unterwegs: im großen Garten spielen, Tiere auf den umliegenden Bauernhöfen entdecken oder gemeinsam die vielen Wege und kleinen Abenteuer in der Umgebung erkunden. Es war schön zu erleben, wie wenig Unterhaltung "organisiert" werden musste, weil die Natur selbst genügend Möglichkeiten bietet.
Für uns als Eltern war besonders wertvoll, dass Bewegung hier ganz automatisch Teil des Urlaubs wird. Ob ein Spaziergang nach dem Frühstück, eine Wanderung in den Nockbergen, eine Radtour durch die sanfte Hügellandschaft oder ein Sprung in einen der vielen Seen – man ist ständig aktiv, ohne dass es sich nach Sport anfühlt.
Das Ferienhaus bietet dabei den idealen Rückzugsort. Es ist sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet und bietet genügend Platz, damit jeder seinen Freiraum hat. Nach unseren Ausflügen konnten wir die Abende entspannt auf der Terrasse ausklingen lassen, während die Kinder noch im Garten gespielt haben.
Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass die Region Familien echte Naturerlebnisse bietet. Statt Warteschlangen und überfüllter Attraktionen stehen hier gemeinsame Entdeckungen, Bewegung an der frischen Luft und wertvolle Familienzeit im Mittelpunkt.
Wer seinen Kindern zeigen möchte, wie schön Urlaub in der Natur sein kann, und gleichzeitig selbst Erholung sucht, findet hier den perfekten Ausgangspunkt.
Wir haben viele schöne Erinnerungen mit nach Hause genommen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Sportlich voll auf meine Kosten gekommen
Die Umgebung ist ein Traum für Ausdauersportler: abwechslungsreiche Radstrecken, ruhige Laufwege und glasklare Badeseen für Schwimmeinheiten. Ich konnte mein Triathlontraining perfekt in den Tagesablauf integrieren – und dabei die wunderschöne Natur genießen. Die hügelige Landschaft hat mich nicht nur körperlich gefordert, sondern auch mental inspiriert.
Wohlfühlen im Ferienhaus
Das Ferienhaus selbst ist gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht: drei Schlafzimmer, moderne Ausstattung und ein großer Garten, in dem wir abends entspannt grillen konnten. Die Kinder hatten Platz zum Spielen, meine Frau genoss die Ruhe – und ich den Carport für mein Rad.
Alles in der Nähe – und doch mitten in der Natur
Besonders geschätzt habe ich die Nähe zu lokalen Bauernhöfen, wo wir frische Produkte kaufen konnten. Feldkirchen ist schnell erreichbar, und auch Ausflüge nach Klagenfurt oder Villach waren problemlos möglich. Die Heidialm und der Zauberwald waren Highlights für unsere Kinder.
Dieser Urlaub war für mich und meine Familie ein voller Erfolg. Das Ferienhaus Arnold ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für sportliche Abenteuer und gleichzeitig ein Ort der Erholung. Ich habe mich körperlich gefordert, mental aufgetankt und gemeinsam mit meiner Familie unvergessliche Tage erlebt.

Familienfreundlichkeit pur
Mit drei Schlafzimmern ist das Haus perfekt für Familien geeignet – wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern unterwegs und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Der große Garten lädt zum Spielen und Entspannen ein. Besonders begeistert waren unsere Kleinen vom nahegelegenen Bauernhof, wo sie täglich frische Milch holen konnten, und von Ausflügen zur Heidialm und dem Zauberwald am Rauschelsee.
Sport und Natur direkt vor der Tür
Die Umgebung ist ein Paradies für uns Aktivurlauber: Wandern, Radfahren und Schwimmen in den nahegelegenen Badeseen – alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wer Lust auf mehr Action hat, findet in den nahegelegenen Städten Klagenfurt und Villach zahlreiche Freizeitangebote wie Bowling, Schwimmbäder und sogar Theater.
Kochen wie zuhause – nur schöner
Die Küche im Ferienhaus ist bestens ausgestattet und lädt zum gemeinsamen Kochen ein. Mit frischen Zutaten aus der Region – zum Beispiel vom Bauernhof – haben wir jeden Abend kulinarische Highlights gezaubert. Das rustikale Ambiente des Hauses macht das Essen gleich doppelt gemütlich.
Fazit
Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, der sowohl Erholung als auch Abenteuer bietet. Das Ferienhaus der Familie Arnold ist ein echter Geheimtipp für Familien, die Natur, Komfort und Unabhängigkeit schätzen.
Die Heidi-Alm war das Highlight für unseren Enkel. Wir haben in Bad Kleinkirchheim das Römerbad genossen, aber vor allem viele Wanderungen in den Bergen unternommen.
Abends gab es Leckeres vom Grill und wir haben bei einem Glas Rotwein im Garten gesessen. Das Haus ist hervorragend geeignet für Familien.
Wir Eltern haben uns herrlich im Garten erholt und auch mit der ganzen Familie schöne Ausflüge unternommen. Es ging z.B. auf die Heide-Alm, zur Burg Hochosterwitz und zum Schwimmen in den Ossiacher See.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder mitgebracht und haben einige Touren unternommen. Zudem besuchten wir die Turracher Höhe, die Nockberge und die Gerlitzen.
Zur Erholung empfehlen wir die Therme "Warmbad Villach", einfach herrlich zum schwimmen und saunen!

Samen de aanvraag met de exacte data verstuurd, berekening viel op 945 euro inclusiefeindschoonmaak.
Van de eigenaar kregen we antwoord dat het ging om een bedrag van 1320 exclusief eindschoonmaak. Achteraf krijgen we via iemand van Ferienhausmiete.de te horen dat dhr Arnold de prijs inmiddels had aangepast.
Helaas hebben wij niks meer van hem gehoord en dat valt erg tegen. Plus dat qe de kinderen moesten zeggen dat de prijs veel hoger was en dat het niet doorging.....

Der große Garten, in dem wir oft und gerne Badminton gespielt haben, ist ein Paradies! Gegrillt wurde fast jeden Tag und Wanderungen durch die schöne Natur der Umgebung gehörte ebenso zum Programm.
Wir haben einen dringend benötigten Tapetenwechsel mit der nötigen Sicherheit verbunden und so erholsame Tage hier verbracht. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!
