Description

Beachfront private holiday home with 2 bedrooms for up to 4 people in a gated Résidence with a pool (open June-September), located directly on the Étang des Ayguades with a swimming beach, and approximately 300m as the crow flies from the Mediterranean sandy beach Plage des Ayguades and the nature reserve Massif de la Clape (mountain range). All mattresses have now been replaced with new orthopedic latex mattresses. The house has two bedrooms, one on the ground floor with a loft bed 120x200cm and an extra bed 80x190cm, and one on the mezzanine (open gallery) upstairs with a double bed 160x200cm. The house is used by the owners themselves every year and is continuously maintained and renovated as needed (bathroom, kitchen, furniture). There is no DSL/ADSL in the house. During our stays, we use mobile internet with a prepaid SIM card from free.fr. If you are interested, I can provide further information. You can also rent a mobile Wi-Fi box on a weekly basis from my housekeeping service.

A wonderful vacation

Beautiful holiday home - ideally located

As a family with two small children and a dog, we had a very nice holiday in the house again. You can walk to the beach and do all the necessary shopping for your holiday everyday life. The hinterland is also exciting and invites you to go hiking or mountain biking.

The communication with the local service provider on the day of departure was accompanied by some misunderstandings, but everyone was very friendly and likeable. Therefore, there is a small deduction of points, but this will settle in and is also handled with southern French friendliness and ease, so it was not a problem in the end.

All in all, a nice experience and we will gladly come back!

A little nest - practically furnished and well located.

Nature lovers should not hesitate to rent this small house in a quiet complex! Here you can really relax, not far from the salt lake and the sea, and explore the Clape Massif on foot or by bike. Bakery and restaurants are nearby and within walking distance.
The owner is extremely kind and always available if you have any questions.

Beautiful holiday in the off-season

We had a nice, quiet and relaxing holiday as a couple in this small holiday home. It is very well equipped, everything makes a very clean impression. The mattresses were also very good, which is very important for us. Another plus point is the parking space right outside the front door. Only a few steps to the lagoon, and the beach is not far away either.

Great price in a great place

We (two adults, a primary school child and a small dog) stayed for a fortnight in this perfectly located holiday home
The equipment is complete, from barbecue to washing machine. The surroundings are fantastic, from culture to nature
The landlady, as well as the contact person on site, are very accommodating and gave us great tips for our stay. We will gladly come back in the next few years. Totally recommendable, especially with the price-performance ratio!

Wonderful holidays guaranteed

We felt very comfortable in the small holiday home near Gruissan. The location is wonderful with the beach within walking distance and numerous hiking and touring possibilities right on the doorstep. As a dog owner, you feel comfortable and welcome. The holiday home has all the equipment you need for a nice holiday and offers enough space for a small family. As soon as you have practised using the three doors (bathroom, toilet and lower bedroom) properly, you will also manage well in the narrower space in the lower area. The parking space right in front of the door is very clever

Gruissan again !

We spent 2 nice weeks in Gruissan as a family with 2 children (15,12). The house has everything you need. The location is really beautiful, directly on the lagoon. It is only a few minutes' walk to the wonderful beach.
The contact with Mrs Löwecke as well as with Mrs Vitasse on site was very friendly. We will definitely come back again!

Most beautiful holiday destination

We were in this vacation rental at the end of July 2019, two adults and an 8-year-old child. I have never seen a vacation rental so well-equipped, where nothing is missing. We had a wonderful 14 days. The beach, which is only 10 minutes away, is great for families. The surrounding area is very scenic, so there is no boredom. I can only recommend it; you will never regret it.

Summer holiday on the Mediterranean

Beautiful small house in a holiday complex. Parking space directly at the house. The wide and long beach 400 m away. Restaurants and kiosks just around the corner. In summer it is well filled everywhere, before and after probably pleasantly empty. The resort's pool is the right thing to do after a busy day's holiday! Gruisson is also a good starting point for visits to the nearby and wider surroundings.
The organisation for arrival and departure worked well, the landlady provides many tips and suggestions.

Familienurlaub

We spent 12 days with two children (2 and 6 years old) in Gruissan. We really enjoyed it. The holiday home may seem a bit small at first glance, but it has everything you need for a stay. We were out and about a lot anyway. It's only a 5-minute walk to the beach. The resort is very quiet. Communication with Mrs. Löwecke was very nice. Everything worked out great and we will definitely go back to Southern France.

Simply brilliant

We really enjoyed our vacation in Mrs. Loewecke's holiday home. The house is equipped with everything you need, and the furnishings are simple but tasteful. We were amazed at how much fits in a house of this size (typical for France). The location is ideal - 2 minutes to the pool in the complex and a 10-minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach and sea. Mrs. Loewecke was always polite and helpful in her communication. The house is located in an extremely quiet place - which exactly met our wishes for a vacation in the high season.
Everything was just right.

Recreation in Grussian Forest

Everything you need is there. Parking right in front of the door. Short walk to the beach. As a family of 4, we found the dining and living area quite small, and maybe revolving doors for the bathroom, toilet, and small bedroom could be considered. If one door of the mentioned areas is open, the other doors cannot be opened. But you can live with that. We really enjoyed this time. Special recommendation: The Cascades of Sautades in La Roque-sur-Ceze. Although it's 217 km close to Nimes or Orange, it's fantastic. Cliff-jumping in a brilliant landscape.

Vielen Dank Familie Joachim für die positive Bewertung! Der Essbereich im Haus ist tatsächlich nicht sehr üppig bemessen, allerdings essen wir in Gruissan überwiegend sowieso auf der Terrasse. Bei unseren Urlauben mit mehr als 2 Personen war zwar anfänglich einige Übung notwendig, um das bauseits angebrachte "Türenballett" zu meistern, allerdings haben unsere Söhne und Freunde dies nach kurzer Eingewöhnung ohne Probleme vollbracht. Es ist halt ein Ferienhaus!

Bonjour, my family and I have been spending large parts of our holidays in Gruissan on the French Mediterranean coast in the Occitanie region (Languedoc-Roussillon) for over 22 years now. We feel super comfortable in our second home and enjoy the French way of life, the wonderful climate and the friendliness of the local French people. Walks on the beach, along the Étangs and in the nearby Massif de la Clape (small mountain range) serve us for relaxation and recreation. The Mediterranean invites you to swim from early summer to autumn and at the miles long and wide sandy beaches you can easily find enough space even in the high season. Every departure is difficult for us and we have already convinced many friends to spend their holidays in Gruissan and to return there frequently. I am sure you will also have a wonderful holiday in Gruissan and in one of my holiday homes. In this sense: à bientôt !
