Description
Beachfront holiday home with 3 bedrooms for up to 5 people, 35 sqm large terrace with sun loungers in south-west facing position. Solid masonry, house is heatable. Washing machine. Sat-TV with German radio and TV channels. Stereo with DVD/CD. Microwave. Grill. Electric cooker. Coffee maker. Electric kettle. Small oven. Toaster. Iron. Refrigerator with freezer compartment. Vacuum cleaner.
Property is enclosed with solid stone wall and garden gate. The Mediterranean bay with palm-lined promenade and adjacent sandy beach is only about 90m walk from the house. Directly in front of the house is a small boules court with a bench and palm trees.
To the house belongs a private car parking space on a separate parking lot
The house is being extensively renovated on an ongoing basis; in the summer of 2013 it was partially refurnished and has since been fitted with new back-friendly latex mattresses. The house is used, cared for and maintained every year by the owner family themselves.
WLAN is possible via the hotspot of orange or sfr (costs currently: 19,90€ or 29,90€ for 30 days) - information without guarantee.

Gruissan is with its Mediterranean architecture, its varied green spaces and palm trees and its over 15km long fine sandy beaches one of the preferred holiday resorts for families and couples (also gladly with dog) on the coast of the Languedoc. Gruissan is a historic coastal town (Cathar) between the Mediterranean Sea and lagoons/Étangs with new districts, marina (Gruissan-Port), Gruissan-Plage, Mateille and Les Ayguades. The holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village in the district of Mateille in a mixed residential area not far from the beach. Amusement park "Pirat Park" and a discotheque (open from the end of June to the beginning of September) are about 350m as the crow flies from the holiday home. In December 2010, the spacious bathing area "Espace balnéoludique" with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, hammam, physiotherapy and more has been opened, so that water lovers can be active all year round, regardless of the weather!

Fee for cleaning of the house is to be paid on the spot in the office of my housekeeper. Additional cleaning fee for dog owners = 10€. Transfer fee 35€ and electricity costs from (low season) = 0,30€/kWh, will be retained from the deposit. |

I will provide you with the cancellation policy at the time of contract completion, or beforehand upon request. It is recommended to take out travel cancellation or interruption insurance, but it is at the discretion of the guests.

Beautiful vacation in Gruissan with 3 children
The house has an excellent location – less than 5 minutes to the promenade and the beach.
It is practically furnished, very clean, has good mattresses, and has fly screens everywhere.
The terrace is perfect for breakfast and dinner. For lunchtime, we would have liked a natural shade provider; unfortunately, the umbrellas could not be used in strong winds.
A supermarket is reachable in no time. By bike, you can get there in about. 10 minutes to two beautiful sandy beaches, the picturesque harbor, and the charming old town.
The price-performance ratio is excellent. The contact with Mrs. Loewecke was very pleasant and friendly. We will gladly come back!

Overwintering in southern France.
A very beautiful and very quiet place in winter.
We were almost alone in the holiday home settlement most of the time, which suited us very well.
Shopping opportunities within reach (bakery, Lidl, Intermarché).
The German-speaking property management was friendly and helpful.
The homeowner in Germany was also nice and friendly.
We would love to come back!

Recreation for the whole family with a dog
A perfect house with everything you need to feel comfortable. Perfect especially with a dog, because the property is securely enclosed. Incredibly nice landlords! We would love to come back. We definitely recommend it to all families and dog lovers. Thank you for the wonderful time with you!

Great family vacation
The holiday home with the large terrace was excellent for us as a family with small children, very well equipped for self-catering and conveniently located for a beach holiday in southern France. We felt very comfortable in the holiday home and would definitely recommend it.

Pure relaxation!
The Lucie holiday home was the perfect place for us (2 adults, 3 children) to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The cottage is equipped with everything you need, not only in the kitchen. Our bikes were stored on the large terrace, and there was still plenty of space to eat outside and relax in the sun lounger. You can quickly reach the town center and also great, more remote beaches by bike, some of which we had all to ourselves (in mid-June). The residential area and the town were pleasantly quiet. The bakery and supermarket are just around the corner. Great trips are possible by bike and car. The contact with Mrs. Löwecke was great. Everything you need to relax.

Bonjour, my family and I have been spending large parts of our holidays in Gruissan on the French Mediterranean coast in the Occitanie region (Languedoc-Roussillon) for over 22 years now. We feel super comfortable in our second home and enjoy the French way of life, the wonderful climate and the friendliness of the local French people. Walks on the beach, along the Étangs and in the nearby Massif de la Clape (small mountain range) serve for relaxation and recreation. The Mediterranean invites you to swim from early summer to autumn and at the miles long and wide sandy beaches you can easily find enough space even in the high season. Every departure is difficult and we have already convinced many friends to spend their holidays in Gruissan and to return there often. I am sure you will also have a wonderful holiday in Gruissan and in one of my holiday homes. In this sense: à bientôt !
