We have lovingly restored this old farmhouse half since March 2005. The thatched roof, half-timbered gable, windows and electrics had to be completely renewed and sanitary facilities installed for the first time. When building the new light-flooded veranda, we made sure that none of the old rural charm was lost. Statistically, Usedom has the most sunny days per year on the entire German coast, but we have furnished the flat so that a rainy day is not a lost holiday for you. Selected antiques in the living area and meticulously handcrafted bespoke fittings in the kitchen create a nostalgic ambience, but modern where it needs to be. You will not find parts made of chipboard or industrial furniture in our house. Our large courtyard and garden with benches, barbecue, garden furniture & deckchairs (fenced plot total 1040m²) is free for you to use. Dogs welcome at no extra charge. Free rental bicycles are available for you in the former stable. We do not require you not to smoke.

Location and surroundings of object

Neuendorf is one of three villages on the peninsula Gnitz together with about 360 residents. The peninsula lies Gnitz as part of the south of the Baltic Sea island of Usedom Zinnowitz off the beaten track. It is surrounded on three sides by outgrowths of the Peene, the backwaters and the Krumminer Wiek. Zinnowitz, with all shops, petrol station, cinema, pubs and the railway station, drive 4 km to Neuendorf.
