Location and surroundings of object

Very quiet location. Corner property in inhabited villa quarter with free view on vineyards, hills and forest. By foot approx. 20 minutes to Moraira and sea/beach. By car about 4 minutes. Situation and climate:
Moraira is situated directly at the sea at the Costa Blanca, Teulada, the second municipality belonging to it, however, is situated scarcely six kilometres inland, in one of the best climatic zones of the earth. Despite tourism, the village has managed to preserve its originality. Nestled between mountains and the sea, the climate here is healthy with an average annual temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. A good 300 days of sunshine and the hills protecting it from the cool north guarantee an ideal old town:
To be more precise, there are 2 small towns here, Teulada inland and Moraira on the coast. Together, they are now almost fishing towns. Moraira offers unspoilt natural beaches. Rocky coves and sandy beaches alternate. It is not so long ago that holidaymakers discovered this former fishing village for themselves. The fishermen's huts, which previously served the people there as tool sheds, were gradually transformed into smart little houses. That people also settled on the coast of Teulada was due to trade. The harvests were brought from the land to the coast for "shipping". As people were constantly travelling between Moraira and Teulada, some chose to live on the coast and, in addition to their "shipping" work, the fishermen still go out to auction their fresh produce noisily at the historic, traditional fish market in the evening. This market has also grown over the years and has become one of the most important fish markets in the Costa Blanca towns in the area:
Calpe, Denia, Benidorm, Javea, Alicante, Valencia Fiestas:
In the municipality of Teulada, from February to Christmas, various festivities take place on different occasions. The most important festivities are those of San Vicente Ferrer, which take place on the first Monday after Easter Monday, and the Moros y Cristianos, which can be admired on the 2nd weekend in June. San Vicente Ferrer is a 10-day celebration in honour of the holy patron saint of the Teuladins. The locals know very well how to combine religious festivities with fun activities in the past, and history is impressively portrayed and celebrated at the Fiesta of the Moros y Cristianos. Several filas (rows) of Moors and Christians parade through the town in splendid robes. The festivities are crowned by a fireworks display at the end of the day. Teulada-Moraira honours its patron saints, the Virgen de los Desamparatos (Virgin of the Defenceless) and the Holy Virgin Carmen, at its Fiestas Patronales. The Fiestas Patronales, are held in the summer in every town on the coast :
In Moraira there is a rich gastronomic or black rice with squid ink, arroz del señoret (paella in the gentleman's style without fish bones, shells and bones) or an arroz a banda (rice dish prepared with fish broth) and other traditional rice dishes of the marina cuisine Teulada-Morairas draws its raw materials equally from the sea, the mountains and the surrounding fields. In addition to the rice dishes, a variety of fish dishes and seafood, locally produced meat and game are offered. There are more than a hundred national and international restaurants, ranging from the typical tapas bars to top international restaurants with Moraira:
Yacht Club, with 620 moorings, is one of the best marinas in the Valencian Community. Year after year it receives the EU Blue Flag. It includes a social club equipped with restaurants and shops. Sailing courses and competitions are also organised in the summer. The district championships of cruising boats are held at Easter, the high regatta "Moraira Santa Eulalia" takes place at the end of September, the club offers services such as water supply, towing service, surveillance, electricity and water at the moorings, rental of surfboards, stacking dock ramps and repair workshops, former fishing village has become a popular holiday resort in the summer months in recent years. However, the municipality is successfully trying to avoid mass tourism like in Calpe or Benidorm to the nearby lie for city trips and cultural enjoyment among others Alicante and Valencia.
