Description
The historic two-family house (built in 1890) consists of a total of 3 separate flats (one on each floor), which vary in size:
Apartment I from 38€ for up to 2 persons: 1 bedroom with double bed (180x200), living room with single beds and sofa bed, kitchen + bathroom. 65sqm for max. 6 persons
There is also a 4-room flat (85 sqm) with 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor
and a 7-room flat with 6 bedrooms in the attic incl. attic (160 sqm).
The following rooms/bedrooms would be available in the attic:
Bedroom 1 : Double bed 180x200, 1 single bed
Bedroom 2 : Double bed 140x200, 1 single bed
Bedroom 3 : 2 single beds
Bedroom 4: sleeping loft with 4 single beds (top height 1,40m)
Bedroom 5: sleeping loft with 2 single beds
Bedroom 6: sleeping loft with 4 single beds
Large living room with kitchen and 2 tables where everyone can sit (there are also 2 sofa beds).
1 bathroom with shower, WC, washbasin, washing machine
2 separate shower rooms
1 additional WC with washbasin
..160sqm in total.
The property has its own parking space (1 parking space for each flat).
If necessary, smoking is allowed on the covered outdoor terrace so as not to disturb the other guests.
Inside, it is cosy, bright, spacious and lacks nothing, although the furnishings are simple and practical.
It is not a hotel or luxury holiday flat; the price is deliberately designed to be unbeatable.
Bed linen and towels are provided and included; also the accommodation tax and a parking space. Internet and Wi-Fi are available free of charge, as is a washing machine
The kitchens are well equipped (ceramic cooker with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker...), the bathrooms of apartment I + II have a bathtub+shower; in the master bedrooms there are large double beds (180x200) and on request a travel cot and high chair can be provided; there are also washing machines.
In the attic flat there are 6 bedrooms (3 of them are in the attic to which 2 stairs lead from the living room). There is also a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin, 2 separate shower rooms and an extra bathroom with toilet and washbasin.

Location and surroundings of object
The location is really fantastic, as with a 5 min walk you have an impressive view over the Schönfelder Hochland, Dresden and the TV tower. It is also a perfect starting point for hiking tours through the heath and into Saxon Switzerland or for walks through romantic valleys and fields. At the same time, you can get to Dresden's centre very quickly: the bus stops almost at the front door, so you can quickly get to the trendy district of Dresdner Neustadt. A bakery and supermarket are within walking distance (8 minutes); 5 minutes away is the Gasthaus zum Hochland with a wide range of delicious dishes. Diagonally opposite is the old town centre with a beautiful park, duck pond and the oldest buildings in the district.
Other worthwhile nearby destinations are, for example, the three castles of Dresden, the Bühlau climbing park (especially for children.) , the Blue Wonder, the Körnerplatz, Pillnitz Castle, the Waldschlößchen, the TV tower, suspension railway and many more.

Super vacation
We stayed here for 7 nights and we didn't miss anything, the stay was relaxing and we would love to come back. We arrived with our 6 children and they were also very satisfied and could let off steam in the garden after the excursions. As parents, we were able to end the evening in the garden. Everything was available and if something was missing, the nearest supermarket was around the corner to possibly get something ourselves. There was always a contact person on site and they helped if there were any questions. Communication is everything :) so we would love to come back.

Equipment poor, not cleaned
I had apartment 1, which was on the ground floor.
Bathroom:
In the bathroom, there was no shelf by the sink and no hook for a towel. There was also no light by the sink, making shaving difficult. In the shower, there was a curtain that was slightly moldy. The walls in the shower were also moldy. However, the pictures in this listing were completely different!
Living room:
There was a thick layer of dust on the table, and the radiators were also full of dust inside. The cabinet in the corner is estimated to be from the 1970s and was not pleasant to look at.
Kitchen:
The kitchen smelled of cigarette smoke, and there was no sign of cleanliness here either. The oven was dirty and there was an oil puddle on the tray! There was no peeler, and I preferred to buy my own dish brush. In the fridge, I was greeted by moldy butter.
Bedroom:
The comforters had stains and the bed linen didn't smell quite fresh. The cabinets were half filled with bedding.
General:
There were several break-in marks visible on the front door, some only temporarily repaired. Birds have built nests in the insulation at the top of the house. There was a significant accumulation of dirt in the hallway.
The deficiencies I reported to the landlord were not addressed. Contact was only possible via email.

Simple, beautiful apartment in a great location.
Ms. Leichsenring asked us to write a review, which we are happy to do.
First of all: It was a beautiful 10-day stay, and we lacked for nothing. The apartment, especially the kitchen, is equipped with everything; even spices and oil were available. It is simply and practically furnished and absolutely clean.
As mentioned, we were more than satisfied with our apartment. Sure, here's the translation:
"Of course, something still needs to be done on the facade, but inside everything is wonderful and there was someone on site every day who took care of things and helped.

Large apartment with garden, family-friendly
We were in the large attic apartment with our children and 4 grandchildren in August of this year and were very satisfied. It was important for us to have parking spaces directly at the house and a garden where the children can play, as we grandparents are no longer able to walk well. In this respect, the property was very suitable for us.
The apartment is very tastefully furnished. There is parquet flooring everywhere, much to the delight of our daughter, who is allergic. It was clean and everything was available... Towels, bed linens, dishwashing tabs, soap. Hardly anyone makes this much effort these days.
The key safe was also very practical since we could only arrive at 10 PM.
Thank you very much for the wonderful 2 weeks with you, we would love to come back.
