This modern, well presented apartment, located next to the Yumbo Centre, provides you with all the services that you need to make it a home from home for your holiday in Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria! The apartment has air conditioning in the lounge which filters through into the bedroom. The bedroom has a modern remote controlled ceiling fan. There is high speed fibre optic internet via wifi in the property. The lounge has large flat screen television and offers a very wide selection of British channels - including sports and movies on-demand with seven day catch-up – if you’ve missed your favorite programme. Also, the TV system offers other language broadcasts including German, French, Danish, Scandinavian, Dutch, and Russian etc The modern kitchen was renovated in2018 and has a dishwasher and washing machine. To save you bringing your own, beach towels are provided during your stay. All the bed linen in the apartment is 100% high quality white cotton. A summer-weight duvet is provided as standard with extra blankets and bed throws for the odd cooler night if required. The apartment has bedding changed on a weekly basis (for stays of 9 nights or more). The apartment is located on the top floor and has uninterrupted views towards the sea. The terrace has a table and four comfortable chairs and is a great place to sit and relax with friends or a good book. The bedroom has two ighly comfortable single beds 90x200 cm long which can be joined together with a huge mattress topper and converted into a super king-size bed (you must decide on the configuration when booking otherwise the room will be made up as two single beds). The bathroom offers a shower, hand basin and WC. As a bonus, there is a large hot water tank so you won't run out during your shower! The apartment is located in a high standard building with two lifts up to the apartment. In the complex there is a large inviting swimming pool with plenty of sun beds around for use, plus a smaller children’s pool available with showers. Some pretty gardens surround the pool area. Access to the apartment from the street is either via steps or the disabled wheelchair ramp (also useful for wheeling luggage down to the entrance).

Location and surroundings of object

The top-floor apartment is in a great location for those who want to be close to the busy area of Playa del Ingles. It is located next to the Yumbo Centre where you will find many shops, supermarkets, bars/cafés, restaurants etc and plenty of night-life. A car is not required, as everything is in easy walking distance. There is a poplar beach about ten minutes walk away where you will find more shops and bars. From here you will find many kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches with sun beds available to hire.
Walking south from the apartment you will arrive at the glorious RIU Palace hotel through which you can walk the start of the famous ever-shifting sand dunes of Maspalomas. You can walk to the beach from here in about 30 minutes. Airport transfers/taxis/buses are available from the airport of Las Palmas (IATA code LPA).

The damage deposit is taken on arrival by credit card and and returned to the same card within a day of departure providing there is no damage.
Airport transfers can be arranged through the management company for 30 Euros. They will have keys and take you directly up to the property.

Cancellation terms:

  • You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

The bedroom has two single beds 90x200 cm which can also be made up as a super kingsize bed 160x200 cm with high quality thick matress topper joining the two beds together. Either configuration is set up on request (default is two single beds). The sofabed in the lounge converts into a 140 x 2 metre long bed also very comfortable with a good matress topper. All 100% cotton bedding.

Una estancia inmejorable

Estuve alojado con mi pareja en el mes de mayo y quedamos encantados con el apartamento.
El trato al cliente antes de nuestra estancia fue excelente, siempre respondiendo a toda duda o petición que nos pudiese surgir y siempre obteniendo una amigable y rápida respuesta por parte del equipo.

El apartamento y su ubicación en Playa del Inglés son inmejorables. Con moderno mobiliario y todo tipo de facilidades, disfrutamos de una acogedora y cómoda estancia. La playa del Inglés, así como las famosas dunas de Maspalomas están a un corto paseo del apartamento. La zona en que se ubica está repleta de bares, cafeterías y restaurantes donde poder elegir.

Aunque no hicimos mucho uso de la piscina comunitaria, el día que estuvimos, como el resto de días de nuestra estancia, disfrutamos de la calma ya que rara vez se llena.
Justo en frente de los apartamentos está la zona de discotecas conocida como Yumbo Centrum, repleto de pubs y restaurantes y a pesar de encontrarse a una corta distancia, nunca fuimos molestados por el ruido ni tuvimos ningún tipo de problemas. Es una zona divertida y segura.
Aunque comimos la mayoría de los días fuera del apartamento, la cocina está completamente equipada con todo lo necesario, nunca echamos en falta nada. Además la televisión posee cientos de canales y posibilidad de ver películas y series en demanda. Sin olvidar mencionar la calidad de la cama!
La ubicación en Playa del Inglés es otro plus, debido a la buena comunicación con el resto de zonas de la isla, las que pudimos visitar fácilmente con nuestro coche de alquiler.

En definitiva, unas vacaciones para repetir y un apartamento que definitivamente recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y conocidos.

Highly recommended apartment

Recently returned from a wonderful week spent here. The apartment is on the top floor of the hotel, about 20 minutes taxi ride from the airport. It contained everything we could have wanted and all looked brand new. It was spotlessly clean. The beach was easy to find - 10 to 15 minutes walk straight down one road. There are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets to choose from and various places to book trips from. We did 3 trips - dolphin and watersports, buggy tour and Palmitos Park . All very good. The Yumbo Centre is a few minutes walk away with various market type stalls and restaurants inside. A main bus stop outside made it easy to be picked up for trips or access other parts of the Island. Night times in the apartment were extremely quiet. There was a king sized bed that could be made up into 2 singles and also a sofa bed. Overall this was an ideal base with no hassle and we would definitely return.

Fantástica estancia!

Estuvimos alojados en este apartamento a mediados del mes pasado.
La verdad, quedamos bastante conformes con nuestra estancia, el piso impecable y limpio, la cama súper cómoda y muy bien equipado. Nos encantaron las vistas y la cercanía a la zona de las dunas!
Esperamos volver a repetir el año que viene! Muy recomendable.

I will definitely always rent this property again

The apartment is great. It really does have the things you want. Comfy beds, modern, really fast internet, a dishwasher was nice to have as I hate washing up when I am on holiday. Also nice to have air con but I did not use it as it was actually cold when I went. I am not a person who watches TV too much but the picture quality of the TV was interesting to see - so clear. It has lots of channels in English, German, Dutch, Danish, etc .also. Good sized terrace again really comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the Yumbo shopping centre below but its blocked out if you close the windows. You could not hear the yumbo at all from the bedroom as it is on the other side of the building. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. Now I have found it I will book it always as I normally visit GC twice a year. Thank you David and Martin for all.

We love Gran Canaria but we are always disappointed with the standard of the hotel accommdation offered. Everything is wooden pine from over 30 years ago with buzzing fridges and old style TVs and even the hot water that runs out within a few minutes! After seeing this, we decided it would be a good idea to offer a higher standard property at a reasonable price so we have produced this apartment. All mod cons that you would expect at home have breen provided to provide the maximum in comfort. If here is anything that we are missing then please le us know and we will do out best to add it !
