Description
This LUXURY holiday home is now being built and will be ready from October 2018. The house has a separate entrance and a private storage room for bicycles or prams. This holiday home is suitable for 4 persons and dogs are allowed (please advise first).
The house is located in the heart of Egmond aan Zee - 250 meters from the beach and the promenade.
Through the front door and the storeroom you enter the house. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. The bedrooms have two single box spring beds. The house is very suitable for families. On request we provide a cot and a baby chair. So two adults and two children can easily live in the house.
On the ground floor is a separate toilet and bathroom with shower and large sink. The entire ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating.
On the upper floor of the house is a cozy sitting area with TV. This has all programs, including German. There is also free Wi-Fi in the house. The dining area is very spacious and the brand new kitchen is well equipped with all the comforts. Think of a large fridge, a dishwasher and a stove with four plates (induction cooker). And the entire upper floor has underfloor heating which offers a lot of comfort. Via a shooting-door they enter the balcony. The balcony is equipped with garden furniture and the sun shines all day long. From the balcony you can see the lighthouse.
We also rent 2 neighboring houses (Witsand 1a en Witsand 1b). These houses are suitable for 5 persons. The three houses can also be booked in combination with each other; very suitable for two or three families traveling together.
The rental price includes bed linen, towels and a parking card for 1 car.
The rental price is exclusive tourist tax (€ 1,80 per person per night (children under 4 years free).

The house is 250 meters from the beach and from the promenade and is located in the center of the village.
Egmond aan Zee is a seaside resort in the municipality of Bergen in the province of North Holland. Egmond consists of three villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond-Binnen and Egmond aan den Hoef. Egmond aan Zee is the best known of the three villages. More than 1000 years ago a fishing village was built here, but since the beginning of the last century the village has also been interesting for tourists. Both the fishing and the tourist past are still clearly recognizable in the cityscape. On the beach promenade stands quite prominently the lighthouse Jan van Speyk, which is also well visible from the village.
The wide beach offers many opportunities for relaxation: sun loungers, sun loungers, windbreaks and beach pavilions. Of course you can also go hiking, swimming, sailing and surfing. In addition, there is the opportunity to participate in various activities such as power kiting or canoeing over breaking waves. Egmond aan Zee has numerous shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and of course the beautiful lighthouse.
The shops are open all year round, seven days a week, and are easily accessible.
Following the development of Egmond aan Zee begins the beautiful natural landscape of the North Holland dune reserve.
Egmond can offer both beach, as well as a beautiful promenade and a welcoming village center. You will not be bored on the beach, as many activities are often organized here. Also, Egmond is located in a beautiful area surrounded by extensive dunes. Nearby there are also other beautiful destinations such as Bergen aan Zee and the forests. Cycling and hiking are very popular in this area.
In addition, Egmond aan Zee is located near Alkmaar, a city rich in culture and history or zb. The famous cheese market is worth a visit.
Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are easy to reach.

sensational location
A really nice house with a sensible basic equipment. You shouldn't expect luxury, but everything you need is there and you feel really comfortable. The storage room is small, but we were able to store our bicycles in it.
The location of the house is simply sensational: it is a stone's throw to the bakery and the supermarket and the short walk to the beach was not worth mentioning!
We have already booked again for next year!!!

Tolle Unterkunft
In der Unterkunft fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Sie ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und man hat überall genügend Platz. Besonders gut gefällt uns der große Raum in der 1. Etage mit der offenen Küche und dem Ess- und Wohnbereich. Von der Unterkunft aus ist man innerhalb von wenigen Minuten am Strand und in den Dünen, was optimal ist für einen Urlaub mit Hund. Der Ort ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt und es befindet sich direkt ein Supermarkt in der Nähe. Die Lage ist also auch top!

Ein toller Aufenthalt in Witsand 1 in Egmond an Zee
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in der Unterkunft Witsand 1 in Egmond an Zee verbracht.
Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist schön ausgestattet, sehr sauber und mit allem versehen, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Liebevolle Deko lässt ein Gefühl von Zuhause sein aufkommen.
In den Betten haben wir prima geschlafen und den Balkon aufgrund des sehr schönen Wetters viel genutzt. Alles ist hell und freundlich.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral und wir waren schnell am Strand. Die Gegend eignet sich wunderbar zum Fahrradfahren.
Frau te Buck ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder .

Einfach schön!
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet! Mit einer tollen Küche! Alles ist sehr neuwertig! Besonders gern haben wir auch den Balkon genutzt, von hier aus ist der Leuchtturm sogar zu sehen! Sehr gut ist auch die Lage, da der Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in nur wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen sind! Ein Dankeschön an Ingrid auch für den lieben Empfang!

Eine traumhaft schöne Unterkunft
Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man im Urlaub braucht. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut - der Strand und die Einkaufsstraße sind direkt um die Ecke. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub und würden gerne nochmal wiederkommen :-)

Wunderschönes Haus
Wir kommen schon viele Jahre immer wieder nach Egmond und haben nun in diesem Haus eine wahre Perle gefunden!
Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man kommt herein und fühlt sich wohl. Super ist auch die Dachterrasse, von der aus man den Leuchtturm sehen kann. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter hat man eine schöne Zeit in dem großzügigen Wohn- und Essraum.
Als Familie mit 2 Kindern (und Hund) ist auch der Abstellraum von großem Vorteil, in dem unsere 4 großen Fahrräder passen.
Die Lage ist optimal: in 2 Minuten ist man entweder am Strand, in der Fußgängerzone oder im Supermarkt.
Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

Everything is fine!
We felt very comfortable in house Witsand 1!
The house kept all its promises, stylish, very clean and in a great location
We also liked the back entrance with the possibility to park our bikes (and wet shoes and clothes) in the dry.
Ingrid is super nice and the contact was no problem at all
