Description
This LUXURY holiday home is now being built and will be ready from October 2018. The house has a separate entrance and a private storage room for bicycles or prams. This holiday home is suitable for 4 persons and dogs are allowed (please advise first).
The house is located in the heart of Egmond aan Zee - 250 meters from the beach and the promenade.
Through the front door and the storeroom you enter the house. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. The bedrooms have two single box spring beds. The house is very suitable for families. On request we provide a cot and a baby chair. So two adults and two children can easily live in the house.
On the ground floor is a separate toilet and bathroom with shower and large sink. The entire ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating.
On the upper floor of the house is a cozy sitting area with TV. This has all programs, including German. There is also free Wi-Fi in the house. The dining area is very spacious and the brand new kitchen is well equipped with all the comforts. Think of a large fridge, a dishwasher and a stove with four plates (induction cooker). And the entire upper floor has underfloor heating which offers a lot of comfort. Via a shooting-door they enter the balcony. The balcony is equipped with garden furniture and the sun shines all day long. From the balcony you can see the lighthouse.
We also rent 2 neighboring houses (Witsand 1a en Witsand 1b). These houses are suitable for 5 persons. The three houses can also be booked in combination with each other; very suitable for two or three families traveling together.
The rental price includes bed linen, towels and a parking card for 1 car.
The rental price is exclusive tourist tax (€ 1,80 per person per night (children under 4 years free).

The house is 250 meters from the beach and from the promenade and is located in the center of the village.
Egmond aan Zee is a seaside resort in the municipality of Bergen in the province of North Holland. Egmond consists of three villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond-Binnen and Egmond aan den Hoef. Egmond aan Zee is the best known of the three villages. More than 1000 years ago a fishing village was built here, but since the beginning of the last century the village has also been interesting for tourists. Both the fishing and the tourist past are still clearly recognizable in the cityscape. On the beach promenade stands quite prominently the lighthouse Jan van Speyk, which is also well visible from the village.
The wide beach offers many opportunities for relaxation: sun loungers, sun loungers, windbreaks and beach pavilions. Of course you can also go hiking, swimming, sailing and surfing. In addition, there is the opportunity to participate in various activities such as power kiting or canoeing over breaking waves. Participation in such activities will certainly result in an unforgettable beach experience.
The village offers the tourists a lot of entertainment. There are many terraces, restaurants and a shopping mall where everyone can find something. In the summer every week an event is organized with a lot of village entertainment, which can be enjoyed from a terrace on the square Pompplein from relish.
Egmond aan Zee has numerous shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and of course the beautiful lighthouse.
The shops are open all year round, seven days a week, and are easily accessible.
Following the development of Egmond aan Zee begins the beautiful natural landscape of the North Holland dune reserve.
Egmond can offer both beach, as well as a beautiful promenade and a welcoming village center. You will not be bored on the beach, as many activities are often organized here. Also, Egmond is located in a beautiful area surrounded by extensive dunes. Nearby there are also other beautiful destinations such as Bergen aan Zee and the forests. Cycling and hiking are very popular in this area.
In addition, Egmond aan Zee is located near Alkmaar, a city rich in culture and history or zb. The famous cheese market is worth a visit.
Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are easy to reach.

sensational location
A really nice house with a sensible basic equipment. You shouldn't expect luxury, but everything you need is there and you feel really comfortable. The storage room is small, but we were able to store our bicycles in it.
The location of the house is simply sensational: it is a stone's throw to the bakery and the supermarket and the short walk to the beach was not worth mentioning!
We have already booked again for next year!!!

Tolle Unterkunft
You immediately feel comfortable in the accommodation. It is very stylishly furnished and there is plenty of space everywhere. We particularly like the large room on the 1st floor with the open kitchen and the dining and living area. From the accommodation, you can reach the beach and dunes within a few minutes, which is ideal for a holiday with a dog. The village is only a few meters away, and there is a supermarket nearby. The location is also excellent!

A great stay at Witsand 1 in Egmond aan Zee
We spent a very nice week at the accommodation Witsand 1 in Egmond aan Zee.
We immediately felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is nicely furnished, very clean, and equipped with everything you need for a stay. Lovely decorations create a feeling of being at home.
We slept well in the beds and used the balcony a lot due to the very nice weather. Everything is bright and friendly. The location of the apartment is very central and we were quickly at the beach. The area is wonderful for cycling.
Ms. te Buck is a very friendly and helpful landlady. We will definitely come back again.

Simply beautiful!
The holiday home is very lovingly furnished! With a great kitchen! Everything is very new! We especially enjoyed using the balcony, from here you can even see the lighthouse! The location is also very good, as the beach and shopping opportunities are only a few minutes' walk away! Thanks to Ingrid for the lovely welcome!

A dreamily beautiful accommodation.
The holiday home is really lovingly furnished and offers everything you need on vacation. The location is also very good - the beach and the shopping street are just around the corner. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to come back again :-)

Lovely cozy house
Superb stay in the heart of Venice, a stone's throw from St. Mark's Square, overlooking the Grand Canal. Luxurious rooms with beautiful views. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.

Wunderschönes Haus
We have been coming to Egmond for many years and have now found a true gem in this house!
The house is decorated with a lot of love and taste, you enter and feel comfortable. The rooftop terrace is also great, from where you can see the lighthouse. Even in bad weather, you have a good time in the spacious living and dining area.
As a family with 2 children (and a dog), the storage room is also a great advantage, where our 4 large bikes fit. The location is perfect: in 2 minutes, you can reach the beach, the pedestrian zone, or the supermarket. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back :-)
