Our thatched holiday home "Anna" in Glowe is situated on a sunny, 617 m² plot in the quiet holiday home area "Am Dünenwald".
From here you can easily reach the wonderful sandy beach "Die Schaabe" in three minutes (subway available).
The non-smoking house "Anna" with its approx. 100 m² of living space over two floors offers enough room for four people and a small child. It is lovingly furnished using high-quality materials.
The light-coloured tiles laid throughout the house give you an unexpected beach feeling.
In the entrance area you will find a wardrobe with mirror, storage space and a shoe rack.
In the sauna with floor-level shower you will find the necessary relaxation in autumn or winter after a long walk on the beach. A guest toilet is located right next door.
In the utility room you will find a washing machine, ironing board with iron, clothes horse, hoover and various cleaning products for your stay. Here you will also find the cushions for the garden furniture and the parasol. Insect screens keep pests away.
On the ground floor there is a cosy living/dining area with fireplace, TV, HiFi, free WLAN and a dining table for up to eight people. The furnishings naturally include various books and games
The kitchen is furnished in a country house style and offers extensive, high-quality equipment from Neff, WMF, Thomas trend, Blomus and Stelton. A ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer compartment, baking dishes, crockery and cutlery for 12 people, toaster, coffee machine, egg boiler, kettle, hand mixer are of course also part of the equipment.
The upper floor is divided into two bedrooms, each with a box-spring bed (one mattress 1.60x2.00m) and bedside cabinets with reading lamps and radio alarm clock. In the custom-made built-in wardrobes you can store your travel wardrobe in compartments and on approx. 25 wooden hangers per person.
There are also extra storage compartments for suitcases and travel bags in the wardrobes.
A high chair and a children's travel cot are available (please bring pillow, duvet and bed linen).
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower, washbasin, WC and glass shelves. The amenities include a hairdryer, vanity mirror and towel rack
The front garden is enclosed with a frieze wall of natural stones and a colourful hedge
A garden shed, also thatched, is available as a storage room for your bicycles. A power socket as well as a handcart and windbreak for the beach are available.
In fine weather, you can enjoy the large south-west facing terrace. You can have breakfast at the tea table with four chairs and then spend the day in the beach chair or on the deck chairs. The open barbecue fireplace invites you to barbecue. Garden furniture can be used from April to October.
There are two parking spaces behind the house. The electrical system of the house and shed is not suitable for electric cars!
Our on-site caretaker will show you the house in person, hand over the key and issue the spa cards.

Location and surroundings of object
Glowe was considered a place of traditional fishing for centuries and is now a state-recognised resort. The well-known holiday resort is located in the north of the island of Rügen and is surrounded by the Baltic Sea and the Bodden. The island's longest and most beautiful sandy beach, the Schaabe, begins here and stretches over ten kilometres to Juliusruh. On site you have various shopping facilities such as the Netto and drinks market, DIY store, bakeries, ice cream parlours, bicycle rental, mini-golf, fish smokehouse, riding stables and various restaurants. From the spa square, you can walk to the harbour via the beautiful beach promenade. There are four playgrounds for the little ones. You can reach Spyker Castle and Cape Arkona via well-maintained cycle paths. The dinosaur park is also worth a visit. There is an 18-hole golf course at Ranzow Castle in Lohme. There is a boat connection from Breege harbour to the island of Hiddensee.

coming from the A20 and the Rügen feeder road (B96), after the Rügen bridge always follow the E251 and B96 in the direction of Sassnitz until you reach the traffic lights at Sagard. Turn left there in the direction of the Jasmund National Park and follow the L30 to Glowe.

A dream!
The holiday home is simply fantastic! Despite its peaceful location in a picturesque forest settlement, you can quickly reach the village or the beach. I have never experienced such a well-kept and clean accommodation before. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is available. There is also a folder included in the inventory, containing all relevant information and tips for the surrounding area neatly organized. You can tell that the well-being of the guests is a matter of the hosts' hearts. The highlights are definitely the private sauna and the fireplace, which not only make the coldest winter days bearable but turn them into quality time, so I can highly recommend this property even in winter! I am already looking forward to the next vacation!

Clean, beautiful, and well-located holiday home
The house is very well located, close to the beach, lagoon, and forest. Absolutely clean and very well equipped. The landlords are so very attentive that it's actually unbeatable. We were on Rügen for the first time and thanks to the landlord's insider tips, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely come back.

Thank you for this beautiful accommodation.
One must feel comfortable in this house. It was not only superbly equipped and very clean - no, at first sight, the house was furnished with a lot of love. Candles, books, games... everything was there. Also, thanks to the caretaker, who was truly great.

We have been coming to Glowe for many years and have consciously chosen this holiday home development again and again. This time for the house ANNA. It was by far the CLEANEST and most pleasant house we have ever had. Nothing was missing. The furnishings are very tasteful and light, the kitchen is fully equipped for all needs. Furthermore, it must be mentioned that we have never slept so well. The bed allows you to wake up refreshed and well-rested. Many thanks also to Mr. Halbach from the caretaker service and his team for the kind words and the truly noteworthy cleanliness in the house.
