Description

This modern, detached cottage is deliberately designed as a retreat for two.

In the morning, a short walk to the bay, during the day relaxing by the private pool, and in the evening sunsets on the spacious rooftop terrace with sea view – here, proximity to the sea combines with absolute privacy.
The mature Mediterranean garden with palm trees and a lemon tree makes the house a small oasis – quietly located and yet close to the water. Perfect for singles, couples, 2 good friends, and, if desired, also a small child.

The small supermarket in the basement of the hostel is open continuously from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., even on holidays, and offers all necessary groceries and beach accessories in addition to fresh baked goods.
The small rocky coves Cala S`Almonia and the INSTAGRAM COVE Calo des Moro behind it can be reached in 30 minutes on foot. Leave your car in front of the house... No searching for parking... You can snorkel, swim, sunbathe, and hike extensively along the high rocky coast.

In 5 km distance is the next larger town Santanyi, with numerous restaurants and bars as well as various shops. On Wednesdays and Saturdays the traditional market takes place regularly, where you can buy food, jewelery and souvenirs and watch the hustle and bustle in the cafes with a 'cafe con leche' or a 'caña' (draft beer).

Sweet little oasis

Dear Yulya, we are so delighted with your service, and since the last review is from 2020, I would like to provide an updated review here. Actually, I can only agree with the one from 2020. The little finca is super clean, even the garden cushions are all in top condition. We were welcomed with a fruit basket and wine, and everything you need is available in the finca. Perhaps, but only just perhaps, there could be a few more breakfast plates and cups;-). We are enjoying our 10 days here very much and can highly recommend this small finca for 2 people. Thank you very much to Yulya for this incredible service and kindness!!!

Arrive and feel comfortable

Dear Yulya, once again this year you managed to make us feel comfortable from the beginning with your warmth and the newly renovated Ponderosa, and we were able to switch off from everyday stress immediately. For that we thank you :) Because that is rare nowadays.
We would love to pack our suitcases again and come directly. But a year goes by quickly and the anticipation that we can come again is great.
We can only recommend this oasis of well-being (cleanliness/hygiene top!) with its beautiful garden, pool, and rooftop terrace, it is simply a dream that one wants to continue dreaming again and again :)

Beautiful!

The little Ponderosa is an idyll, the description fits 100 percent. The equipment, the location, the proximity to the sea, and the beautiful garden were reason enough for us to have another vacation at Ponderosa. After already spending a holiday at the Finca in 2016, this year three of us went there. The tranquility in the shade of the palms, splashing in the pool, the incredibly nice conversations with Yulya, and the delicious dishes from the grill made us have a wonderful time. If you want to spend your holiday in peace and in a clean accommodation, this is the right place.
We want to say thank you, thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend at Ponderosa. We want to thank you, dear Yulya, thank you for your loving, friendly, and warm manner.
We have not spent our last holiday there, we will come back!

Wunderschönes kleines Urlaubsdomizil

We had a wonderful holiday in the small, very clean and lovingly designed Ponderosa. Everything you need is available and in a well-maintained condition. The garden is beautiful and Yulya is an extremely nice and attentive person. The stairs to the roof terrace are not so well suited for people with disabilities as they are quite narrow and steep. However, it is beautiful with a magnificent view. The pool is always cleaned and water quality checked.

THAT is a holiday!

There was nothing that was not there!
First of all, Yulya: We have never met such a loving, helpful landlady. The house is close to her heart and she attaches great importance to it. You can see that too! Everything is beautifully prepared, both the outside area and the house itself, very high quality and VERY clean and well maintained. She tries very hard to make your stay pleasant with insider tips, even has a book with many offers and interesting facts in and around Cala Llombards and is always available for questions. In addition, she is very discreet!
The house itself: WOW! Inside absolutely perfect, just like outside. A beautiful roof terrace for star gazing, a very well maintained pool, another covered terrace with a Weber barbecue and everything your heart desires. In addition, bicycles, cool box, parasol, FULLY equipped kitchen, as well as other nice gestures etc. are available. Everything you could wish for! Price-performance ratio more than fair
The surrounding area is beautiful and invites you to linger on the beach as well as in the surrounding villages. In addition, everything you need is within walking distance!

Thank you very much for the nice stay, dear Yulya.

"We have found a treasure"

Just switch off, forget everyday life and let your soul dangle.
That is a holiday in paradise with our dear Yulya.
We were allowed to spend our holidays in the Casita Ponderosa for the 3rd time and enjoy the togetherness.
Everything is just right.
You have your privacy and can enjoy the peace and quiet.
Here you can be happy all around :)
A very nice, clean and cosy holiday home. The flat is super equipped, nothing is missing.
The garden is just beautiful and lovingly maintained.
Sitting on the roof terrace in the evening is fantastic. The stars are within reach".
You can cool off in the private pool, which is cleaned regularly.
You can always discover something new in the surrounding area. Beautiful bays, beaches, simply pure nature.

A holiday in Mallorca couldn't be more beautiful!

We spent a wonderful week in the perfectly equipped, very clean and ideal for two people small holiday bungalow. The charming landlady has thought of everything: you will find everything you need in the small kitchen, there is a gas barbecue on the terrace, the beds are comfortable, the garden is very well kept, pretty and quiet, the pool is appealingly large for sole use, and there are even bath towels. Yülya is very helpful, accommodating, always approachable with discretion and extremely friendly. We would gladly come back at any time.

The description of the accommodation is not exaggerated - the finca is idyllic, lovingly furnished, and very, very clean. The landlady has thought of everything, even providing a cooler bag with ice packs and beach towels for the stay at the beach. All cooking utensils are available, so you can cook a meal in the finca and enjoy it on the covered terrace or on the roof terrace. We felt very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the warmth of the landlady. She is always approachable and ensures a great and relaxing stay from the very first moment. Thank you Yulya!

Wonderful days

The Ponderosa is located in a quiet side street in "sleepy" Cala Llombards and is ideal for a holiday for two. Besides beautiful beaches, there are also shopping facilities nearby. Everything can be reached quickly and easily by car or bike. But back to the essentials. The Ponderosa is very cosy and stylishly furnished, has a small covered terrace next to a beautiful garden with a small, refreshing pool. There is a magnificent lemon tree in the garden, which also offers an opaque lounging area. My personal highlight, however, was the roof terrace. In the evening at sunset, a glass of Mallorcan red wine, a book and enjoying the peace and distant view. Pure relaxation and holiday.
The friendly email contact before arrival already suggested it, the stay then confirmed it. Yulia, the landlady, is very likeable, kind, obliging, helpful - simply great.
We will definitely come back sometime and can recommend Yulia and the Ponderosa without hesitation and with pleasure.

Every person seeks somewhere the place of rest, relaxation, well-being, where there is always something blooming and green, in every season. The climate is of great importance if one has experienced much cold and bad weather from northern Europe. All this I find in Cala Llombards, far away from mass tourism.
