Wonderful house

We were in the beautiful little house for a week in September. It is located in a nice quiet area, and the parking is easily reachable in not even 2 minutes. The house has everything you need. There is enough dishware to make perfect use of the dishwasher. I couldn't say what might have been missing. Senseo, coffee machine, kettle - everything is there. The rooms are very cozily furnished, and you can feel comfortable there. We also found the insect protection in front of the windows great. Nearby is a small grocery store where you can quickly get rolls or bread on foot. The beach is a bit farther away, but we knew that since we have spent several vacations in the neighboring park. The Schmitz family is very nice and accommodating. If there are any problems, they can be easily reached. We truly felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you very much for allowing us to rent your house!

Place to feel good

We were four people and a dog staying at the accommodation. The cottage is in a very quiet area, so you can relax really well! It is a bit further away from the beach, so if you want to walk there, you should plan at least an extra half hour. Additionally, the cottage is fenced so your dog can run around freely outside. We definitely enjoyed our time there. Everything you need and wish for is available, we couldn't complain! We are also very grateful that the rental process went so smoothly, we were contacted immediately. All questions/information were clarified quickly. Recommendation is definitely given.

Restful week in a beautiful holiday home

Quietly located holiday home in a beautiful environment. The equipment, especially the kitchen accessories, are excellent. The landlords have provided explanations on how to use devices (e.g. heating, etc.), which quickly helped us. The living room area is comfortably designed. The surrounding area with the small towns/villages Callantsoog, Schagen, or even Alkmaar are not far away and worth a visit. But also on-site, the natural forest "Het Wildrijk" is worth a nice walk (about 2 km). We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend the stay.

Beautiful holiday home in a tranquil location.

We spent a week with our grandchild and dog in this beautiful house. The children's room was especially well received, with its own TV. Otherwise, everything is also available: new bathroom, new mattress, super clean and fenced property, which we as dog owners loved...and here the price-performance ratio is right.

Great little house!

We were there for the second time and again very happy with everything. The house is very clean and you feel comfortable immediately. Well-equipped vacation rental - Cleanliness leaves something to be desired

The holiday apartment is located in a quiet holiday park. It is well-equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was poor. There were a lot of hairs on the mattress topper, the floor was dirty in the bathroom and in one bedroom (lots of hairs), and the oven needed to be replaced. We preferred not to put anything in it. The landlord did not respond to any notes regarding the cleanliness. Otherwise, the communication ran smoothly and one received a lot of information in advance.

Tolle Zeit in Hofstee

We spent our summer holiday at Hofstee. We lacked nothing, the house is superbly equipped. One feels comfortable there, the house and the surroundings are perfect for a family vacation. Clear recommendation!

Beautiful days in Sin Maartenszee

We felt very comfortable in the very nicely furnished holiday home in Sint Martinszee and the 14 days passed by in a flash. With the bicycles, we quickly reached the beach and were able to enjoy our holiday.

Terrace with ants

We spent 14 days in the house and can say that everything you need is there. Inside the house, everything was clean, but we found the garden to be anything but beautiful. There were a lot of ants on the terrace, which unfortunately prevented us from using it. We also couldn't open the terrace door because then the ants came into the house. The problem seems to be known, as there was also an ant bait at the terrace door in the house when we arrived. At night, an unknown animal often ran around in the roof, which frequently kept our dog and us from sleeping. Here is feedback from the house: Positive: Equipment, cleanliness (inside the house), quiet location, fenced garden (ideal with a dog) Negative: Garden, terrace with weeds and ants We will not rent this house again because the use of the terrace of the holiday home is also part of a relaxing summer vacation.

Whit Monday in North Holland 2020

The house is very lovingly, thoughtfully, and tastefully furnished. We felt very comfortable and at home. We lacked nothing! Everything was available! For bad weather, there is also a nice DVD collection, a good selection of books, board games, and an open fireplace, ensuring pleasant evenings. It's a 13-minute bike ride to the beach. The beach is very spacious, wide, clean, and provides very beautiful sunsets. Very nice landlords, quick and uncomplicated processing, we will definitely come back!

Successful vacation

Accommodation well equipped, everything you need is there. Nice and quiet.
Only downside: from the end of October to March, the nearby Spar is closed. Bread rolls either 8 km away (great bakery) or in Petten 3 km away.
Walking distance to the beach is about 2.5 km.

Again and again gladly!!!

We have been vacationing in Sint Maartenszee for several years. We have already stayed in different holiday homes. However, the house of the Schmitz family has been our favorite so far! We and our dogs always feel comfortable there and have been there several times now. We have already reserved it again for next year. It is highly recommended. Well-maintained, beautifully cozy furnishings, and it simply lacks nothing. We have found our regular little house in that place :)

We had a great vacation!

Lovely little cottage with everything you need. Bicycles are even included, so you can get everywhere quickly.

The dogs also had lots of fun and a nice garden:)

The beach is incredibly beautiful, and you can reach it within 15 minutes by bike.

Gladly again

We were already in the house last year and are repeat offenders. New this time is the dishwasher (thank you), new beds, and TV in the bedroom. The house has also been repainted. With the bike, you quickly reach the beach. Surely not the last time we were here.

Relaxed break in nature

We visited this truly beautiful and top-equipped house in November 2018. It has everything you can imagine and need in a holiday home. We spent a few very relaxing days there. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed the nature and the truly beautiful and very wide beach. Nearby towns like Alkmaar or Bern can be reached quickly from here and are worth a visit. Afterwards, let the evening end by the fireplace. Perfect! We had a lovely and very relaxing time here and will definitely come back!

Cozy cottage in a quiet location

A great little house in a quiet location.
Facilities are very good - hairdryer, plenty of dishes, coffee machine, toaster, even dog bowls are there :)
The sea can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes...by bike, of course, a bit faster ;)
Shopping facilities are within walking distance.
In the garden - a sun lounger and terrace furniture, so you can really enjoy the peaceful tranquility.

Ruhig gelegenes Haus

The house is newly renovated, quietly located, and shopping facilities are nearby. The beach is about 2.5 km away.

Unfortunately, there are still some things that should be optimized, for example, the TV reception: hundreds of saved HD channels but no HD Plus card available. The satellite dish is too small, and the reception is disturbed by a tree, especially in bad weather!
There is a birch tree in front of the assigned parking space that completely dirties the car.
