In the half-timbered house, which was rebuilt in 2012 from oak wood and clay bricks in the traditional way, materials appropriate to the period were used, such as the metro tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms or the lincrusta in the bedrooms. The floor coverings are made of oak planks, and the half-timbering has also been left visible in the interior. At all you will encounter in the "Rügen-Cottage" only 2014 the cottage is rented through us and has always received 5 stars!

From Dranske you can take the ferry to the island of Hiddense, about 14 km away you can reach Kap Arkona with its lighthouse. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 children for a week in this cosy modern holiday home. It is super equipped and we really didn't miss anything. We can only recommend it and were pleased that there are such great landlords. Thank you for a wonderful week, we enjoyed it very much

A dream (holiday) comes true
We booked the cottage for 6 adults and 2 children and everyone got their money's worth. We received a lot of information in advance about excursions for children, restaurant tips and much more. The communication was great. The house is super equipped, there is everything you need for the household, you don't have to bring anything else except bed linen and towels, and of course your own clothes.
The property is cosily designed and invites you to relax.
Only the many, many air fresheners, which can be found everywhere in the house, were disturbing
We would visit again at any time.

My name is Uta Simone Reichel, I am 59 years old and have lived in Dresden all my life. in 2010, I bought 535 square metres of land on this wonderful island and fulfilled my wish of having my own cottage when it was completed in 2014: the Rügen Cottage! Only natural materials were used in this house, such as clay, wood and thatch.
