Description
Our holiday home covers all needs that belong to a relaxing vacation. There are 3 bedrooms, a combined kitchen, dining, and living area. On the lower level there is a shower bathroom, and on the upper floor a small second toilet is provided. The house has a direct view of the lake from the terrace, the sun terraces at the front and back of the house are spacious and give you the opportunity to sunbathe from morning until late afternoon. An awning is available for sun protection. The rear garden area is excellent for grilling, relaxing, and enjoying an evening glass of wine. In an outbuilding, you can store your bathing gear, fishing equipment, or bicycles. The kitchen was renovated in 2020 and is up to date.
Bed linen and towels can be rented for an extra charge of €15 / €10 and will be provided as a package. Our property management is your contact in urgent cases. Our rowing boat is ready for you at the jetty.
In the upper area there are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and 2 single beds. In the lower area there is a bedroom with a double bed, the living-dining and kitchen area, and the shower room. Dogs are allowed on request. Free Wi-Fi with flat rate is available.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located with a direct lake view about 50m from the lake in a small holiday village. The lake lies in front of the house with a wonderful circular hiking trail, at the back section of the holiday village it leads into a kilometer-long beech mixed forest. The Baltic Sea is about a 40-minute drive away.
The small town of Warin is situated in the charming Sternberger Lake District between the Großer Wariner See and the Glammsee. These two, as well as approx. 15 more lakes in the immediate vicinity offer opportunities for resting, swimming, and fishing. Some are connected to Glammsee by rivers and are ideal for a boat trip. Romantic hiking trails cross the forests. You can also go on extensive cycling tours. In Warin there are good and sufficient shopping facilities, as well as some inexpensive inns and restaurants that can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. The good thing about the location of the holiday village is that both Schwerin and Wismar on the Baltic Sea are only about 35 minutes away by car. Especially when the weather is bad, culture and shopping can be covered. Within 40 minutes by car you can reach the island of Poel on the Baltic Sea. Thus, beach days on the Baltic Sea can also be easily arranged.
Schwerin and Wismar offer a wide variety of cultural programs for a change.

Dogs welcome
Very quiet location with a view of Glammsee, very beautiful hikes possible (Komoot), only a few meters to the forest (walks), many excursions to "civilization" (Wismar, Schwerin, Rostock) or to the Baltic Sea (island of Poel, Warnemünde). In Warin, the "Sandhaas" restaurant is recommended (very delicious food at reasonable prices).
Overall, a very good price-performance ratio for accommodation + additional costs and, as already mentioned, you can bring your dog along.

Short break at Glammseehaus 10.
In September 2023, we (2 people and a dog) spent a week in House 10 on Glammsee. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Upon our arrival, the beautiful house was super clean. The house was perfectly equipped. Nothing was missing. The furnishings were also very appealing and super cozy. The beds were very comfortable. From our front terrace, we had a beautiful view of the lake. Since the weather was very warm, we were able to swim in the lake every day. The forest, which starts directly behind the house, allowed us to take beautiful walks with our dog. The proximity to the Baltic Sea gave us great excursions during this week, for example to Wismar, Boltenhagen, Poel Island, and Kühlungsborn. In summary, this short vacation was the most beautiful we had in a long time. We are already looking forward to our 14-day vacation in June 2024, which we have already booked. Wonderful late summer holiday.
The holiday home is perfectly suitable for those who enjoy having breakfast outdoors with a beautiful view of water and forest on a sunny terrace, swimming in the lake or paddling on the lake, exploring by bike, relaxing undisturbed in the afternoon sun, ending the day with a BBQ, and not wanting to compromise on comfort, just like us. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the living and sleeping areas are carefully and lovingly furnished. Also provided are books, board games, a high chair for children, and a clothes dryer. The intense heat had dissipated by the day of our arrival, however, the few rain showers have not yet been enough for mushrooms to grow in the forest. In Warin, there are plenty of shopping options (Lidl, Norma, Edeka, KIK), as well as dining opportunities, which we cannot assess as we preferred to sit, eat, and drink on the terrace or in the comfortable living room of the holiday home due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Warin beach itself and the path leading to it are an attraction. Particularly recommended for children is the playground next to the narrow linden avenue. Super sports and play equipment have been installed, the sunbathing area and swimming area are well-maintained, and there is a kiosk for snacks and drinks. It was a relaxing, beautiful vacation. Many thanks to the landlady.
