For years, this apartment has been our domicile in Costa Calma and will be again in 2026. Super nice landlords, everything runs smoothly, handover/taking over without any issues. After the flight and arrival, cold drinks in the fridge. Location of the apartment is optimal.

Gladly again!

We were guests for the fourth time at Frank and Monika Hammer in the OASE. All positive reviews reflect the facts; we can't think of any additions or even improvements. No restoration backlog; on the contrary, investments have been made and some things renewed. Since we were already in Fuerte beforehand, we could personally meet both of them before our move in. As for the apartment, here too 5 stars. We are looking forward to being back there. We would also like to thank Ines, Kerstin, and Yogi, who are always helpful.

100% Satisfaction

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the "Oasis" of: peace / relaxation / well-being / satisfaction / feeling good / the sound of the sea / top amenities / cleanliness and much more that leads to maximum holiday recovery!
On the fantastic terrace with the great view of the Atlantic, we relaxed on 3 very comfortable sun loungers, the awning provided ample shade.
From the very comfortable double bed, we heard the sound of the sea! A fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms completed the comfort.
This apartment is amazing, and the contact on site with Kerstin as well as in advance with Mrs. Hammer was very warm.
Relaxation and maximum vacation joy are guaranteed in this great accommodation.

Vacation can't get any better than this.

Dear Hammer family,
thank you for allowing us to spend our vacation in your dream apartment. From moment 1, we felt at home. Starting from the handover and information from Kerstin (she only wanted the cleaning fee at the end of our vacation - because one is more motivated then: Class: we have NEVER experienced this before), every little detail: be it the great evening lighting, the great bookshelf. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom so well equipped that there really was nothing missing at all. Also great: a slate sign with the inscription ♥-lich welcome Family Krumscheid, greeted us, along with a bottle of red wine, a bottle of white wine, 2 cans of beer, 2 large bottles of water (I hope I haven't forgotten anything). Our unrestricted recommendation and also the price-performance ratio was excellent (please do not change it :-) ). Many, many thanks - oh and we also must not forget to mention the caretaker Marion (he and his wife are simply fantastic and always helpful).

We have arrived and immediately felt comfortable! It was by far the most lovingly furnished and cleanest holiday home that we have inhabited in the last few years. The terrace is large, not visible and with a fantastic view of the sea. The location was optimal because the supermarket and restaurants were nearby. Super service with airport transfer and very friendly and helpful support. Just a great team ?. We have already booked the chalet for next year.

A vacation without compromises - simply let go & forget stress, simply feel good

We were in a vacation rental for the first time instead of a hotel. We are totally thrilled! This apartment has so much charm and is equipped with so much attention to detail. You just have to feel comfortable. The apartment is spotlessly clean. There is so much high-quality equipment in the apartment, there are no wishes left unfulfilled. For example, there is a SENSEO coffee pad machine, a regular filter machine, and a kettle for powdered coffee - whoever has the choice... The refrigerator is really big, the freezer as well. You can do your shopping on foot at the Sparmarkt right next to the residential complex or you can drive to the nearest "Mercadona" (similar to Globus/Real) about 10 minutes away and buy in larger quantities. There is enough storage space, as well as dishes and cooking utensils. Or you can simply eat or snack in the immediate vicinity. There are so many bistros, bars & restaurants... We navigated well with Tripadvisor & Google Maps. There are really, really good restaurants,... also at lower prices.

You can tell that the owners themselves live in the apartment for several months a year. Everything you need and much more is there, for example, a whole bookcase with German thrillers, novels, etc. There is also a lot of equipment for yoga exercises, meditation, or even walking sticks. There are ceiling fans & a large awning for the terrace. There are more than enough towels. There is a safe, but also locks for the windows and the terrace door. The residential complex is clean & quiet.

Communication with the owner and the people on site (German-speaking) is totally uncomplicated. Someone is always available for questions!

Costa Calma is just under 60 minutes away from the airport in the south of the island. It's best to rent a car at the airport (e.g. from Cicar) and drive yourself. The roads are in perfect condition, renting is uncomplicated, and fuel is cheap (1 liter of gas = 1.35€). You can park for free in front of the complex directly on the street.

Another direct hit

Last year El Lindo, this year Oasis of peace. We were highly satisfied and very impressed again. This apartment is wonderfully spacious, of course also beautifully furnished, and everything necessary for a perfect holiday apartment is available. We were glad that there were fans, so we could sleep wonderfully with open windows and insect protection. The whole complex was quiet, we couldn't even hear the "555". Everything was perfect! We would like to thank Mrs. Hammer and definitely want to come back.

Our sincere enthusiasm and satisfaction! From the beginning, the contact and the booking were extremely easy and enjoyable. The landlords were friendly, professional and available for all questions. The entire communication went smoothly, so we felt in good hands from the start. The holiday apartment exceeded our expectations. The love for detail and the careful furnishings impressed us. Each room exuded a warm and cozy atmosphere. It was obvious that the landlords have invested a lot of effort and love to ensure that their guests feel comfortable. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. The proximity to the beach is a dream. Everything necessary for a wonderful holiday (shops, restaurants, bars) can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Holiday apartment in prime location

The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the beach and 2 minutes from the supermarket; restaurants and pubs are within a few meters; if it's too warm for breakfast on the terrace, an electric awning provides a remedy; there are two toilets and showers in the apartment; the terrace is very large and offers plenty of space to dry your swimwear. Occasional children's noise can be heard from the nearby play area. We would love to vacation in this apartment again!!!!!!

We felt very comfortable here. The apartment is extremely well equipped and with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, everything your heart desires is given. The view and proximity to the beach are unique. Top apartment in very good location with sea view

Super spacious holiday flat in very good condition with 2 modern bathrooms, a top equipped kitchen and a large terrace with direct sea view and several sunbeds. There are many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity and a supermarket just around the corner. There are plenty of towels, bed linen etc. on site.
On the beach directly in front of the apartment there is a beach bar with regular live music.
The landlady answers quickly and takes care of all your needs.
All in all, definitely recommendable.

Dream holiday for two

This chalet keeps its promise. As soon as you arrived, you felt very comfortable. Someone had really put a lot of thought into it and made everything very cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped, among other things with a great table grill, which we used very often. We found the large bed very comfortable and since all windows are equipped with fly screens, we could also sleep with the windows open. There is plenty of space in the great bathrooms and there are lots of good quality towels and beach towels. We would especially like to mention the nice conversations in advance with Mrs Hammer and the warm welcome from Kerstin. The transfer from the airport and back with Jogi also worked well and was very nice. It was a very nice holiday and we would have liked to stay longer.
We are looking forward to our next holiday in the oasis of peace.

Anytime again!

This was the second time we stayed in Mrs Hammer's beautiful holiday flat. This time there were three of us.
There is really nothing missing here
The flat is cosy and furnished to a high standard.
The bed is a dream, sleeping on holiday without back pain is wonderful :-)

Simply class

We have now been to Fuerteventura 8 times - always at Casa Roja. This time we stayed in Mrs. Hammer's apartment. And indeed, the apartment is absolutely fantastic. Never have we found a kitchen so well equipped and perfect. The 2 bathrooms each with a shower were the best. All rooms are lovingly furnished and the hangers, what a madness, in all accommodations there are only a few hangers. Here we had them by the pound. But the absolute highlight is the terrace. Huge, absolutely not visible. Sunny corners, but also shade if one desires it. Upon arrival, white wine and red wine, still or sparkling water were available. Just really good. And also much cheaper than other accommodations, which don't offer what we had for a long time. Kerstin took care of us on-site, even when we urgently needed a dentist. The only downside, for which the landlady is not responsible, is the occasional loud music in the evenings from the pub next door.

We felt completely comfortable - that's how a vacation should be. Always happy to come back!

Always a pleasure

We spent the Easter holidays in the oasis of peace and the three of us had a relaxing and restful time in the chalet. Fuerteventura

We were at the "Oasis of Peace" over the turn of the year. To repeat all the positive reviews would be like carrying coals to Newcastle. They all agree down to the smallest detail. We would like to repeat: The warm welcome with a very nice attention, the friendly nature of the landlady - Mrs. Hammer was always available and helpful. The contact person on-site is very reliable and nice. The transfer worked perfectly. The complex itself is probably one of the most beautiful ones in Costa Calma, clean and well-kept by a caretaker who is on-site daily. Our personal highlight: We will be there again from the 22nd to the 23rd. Thank you very much for that!

Eine wirklich hammermäßige Wohnung

We have never had such a beautiful and lovingly furnished vacation apartment and such great support. It took three re-bookings until we could finally start our vacation in this fantastic holiday apartment. Thank you again for the very uncomplicated and super friendly support. The transfer organized by Mrs. Hammer from the airport to the apartment worked perfectly, and we were warmly welcomed in the apartment. The apartment and kitchen equipment leave nothing to be desired, there is a huge amount of storage space in every room and plenty of hangers. For personal entertainment, various games and books are available, and the SAT/TV setup with a soundbar also leaves nothing to be desired. You are awakened by the sun and can enjoy the start of the day on the very beautiful and large terrace. It is sheltered from the wind with a canopy for the seating area and a large sun awning, everyone will find a suitable and cozy spot with a view of the sea here. For a quick dip in the sea or a long beach walk at low tide, the short way is perfect and can be easily managed despite the slope. There is always a place to park the rental car on the street, but even without a car, everything is easily accessible. There are various restaurants in the immediate vicinity, right next door is one with a large rooftop terrace as well as a café and a well-stocked Spar market. The bus stop is also within a few minutes' walking distance, a good alternative to renting a car, you pay directly on the bus and have a good connection in every direction from Costa Calma. We felt completely comfortable in the apartment and Costa Calma itself, as well as the expansive beach and the clean sea, are highly recommended. Our departure was with a heavy heart, but also with anticipation for next time at this beautiful place, as we will definitely be back soon!

Oasis of well-being

Four of us spent a relaxing time in Mrs Hammer's holiday flat.
The flat is tip-top clean and well-maintained, so you feel at home! The furnishings are super, nothing is missing.
The terrace with its view is beautiful. The sea is within walking distance. The complex has its own beach access. We always went in our bathing suits, very practical. The Spar market is within easy reach, and in the mornings you can quickly pick up fresh bread rolls.
The contact with Mrs Hammer was always nice, friendly and uncomplicated

We sincerely thank you for the opportunity to spend two weeks of dream vacation in the most beautiful and well-equipped holiday apartment so far.
The many recommendations on where to eat or shop best, as well as when and where each market is open, were very helpful.
We have never experienced the attention to detail of the small first aid supply that we were very grateful for upon arrival at 9:00 pm. I also want to mention that every detail, as seen in the many pictures, looks exactly the same on site. Unfortunately, we have had very different experiences in the past!

Oasis of tranquility - the name was our program.

We (2 adults) spent 2 weeks in this beautiful house and our expectations were absolutely met. The contact with the owners was easy and uncomplicated, we were greeted upon our arrival by the very helpful Ines. The house is lovingly and very well furnished, we lacked nothing. The kitchen is compact, but perfectly equipped from sharp knives to an egg cooker and grater. The bathrooms offer plenty of storage space, lots of storage space, and many towels. A highlight for us was, in addition to the great terrace with sea view, the extremely comfortable bed in the master bedroom. There are some nice restaurants in the area. We enjoyed going out for ice cream, and the supermarket is right next door (for breakfast rolls). Due to the hillside location, it is very quiet, and we also found the short walk to the beach through the complex very pleasant. We can only recommend the "Oasis" and will definitely come back ourselves.

Highly recommended

From the very first moment, we felt at home. Everything you need in a vacation rental is truly available. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in on Fuerteventura. You can safely leave the shower/bath and beach towels at home as there are plenty available. The beach and shopping facilities are reachable within 2 minutes. The absolute highlight is the large terrace where you can relax wonderfully. Despite Corona, we were able to spend a few wonderful vacation days here. Looking out at the sea during breakfast and in the moonlight in the evening is simply fantastic.
Mrs. Hammer is always available and an extremely friendly landlady.
Due to the Corona pandemic, we did not choose a hotel this time. If a vacation rental. . . then only this one, it rightfully bears the name Chalet.

A great vacation, nice landlords, pure relaxation.

Upon arriving at the house, we immediately felt comfortable. The view from the terrace and the short walk to the beach were simply wonderful.
The amenities of the house leave nothing to be desired.
There was also a warm welcome upon arrival in the apartment, for which we would like to thank you once again!
There were plenty of games, books, and magazines in the house, so you could relax very well. Additionally, two beach loungers that we enjoyed using. Mrs. Hammer and her husband were always available to us. We were very satisfied with the care before and after our vacation. Great vacation despite Corona

We can only agree with the existing reviews. Despite the Corona pandemic, we always felt safe here. The beaches were never overcrowded, everyone in the supermarket respected the mask requirement, and there were also hand sanitizer dispensers for hand disinfection, even in the chalet. The location and facilities are hard to beat. We slept wonderfully. The caretaker was always available in case of problems. We will definitely come back (hopefully without Corona then). Thanks to the Hammer family, it was a wonderful holiday.

Assistance in the Corona crisis

The apartment is great, and I can fully agree with the positive reviews of other guests. Today, however, I want to emphasize something else. We wanted to rent the same apartment again this year during the Easter holidays, unfortunately, it was already booked, so the apartment "el lindo" was offered to us. The situation on Fuerteventura is tense everywhere. Mrs. Hammer assured me, without my request, that she would refund the rental costs, which is not a given. A noble gesture of kindness that is unmatched.

Super nice apartment with a large terrace in a good and quiet location!

We also had the pleasure of spending a few wonderful days in the vacation rental, where nothing was missing. As it was sometimes very windy, we truly enjoyed the large terrace, which was pure relaxation in simple words.
On the terrace, everything needed for relaxation was available, nothing was missing.
Various games were provided for cozy game nights. There were also mats for possible yoga or gymnastics exercises, and several books were available for reading. Everything is within walking distance in no time, from the bakery, supermarket, etc. The restaurant tips are really recommended.
We had good contact with Mrs. Hammer before and after our trip. Upon our arrival in Fuerteventura, everything went smoothly with the key handover.
There was also a warm welcome upon arrival in the apartment.
Mrs. Hammer also inquired about our vacation, how satisfied we were. We can only recommend this "oasis of peace" and also thank the Hammer family for the nice, quick, and uncomplicated email contact. Great apartment with a beautiful terrace in a prime location.

We had the pleasure of spending two wonderful weeks in the vacation apartment. It was nice to meet you as the landlord when we arrived. The location of the vacation apartment is perfect. A few steps and you are right by the sea. As it was very windy in July, we really enjoyed the large terrace, which is fully equipped with loungers, umbrellas, awning, and a nice sheltered corner with a table for dining. We found everything very clean. The fly screens in the entire apartment were also very advantageous. The mattresses were top quality; we rarely slept so well on vacation. The kids (both 18) also slept great on the fold-out couch. The proximity to the supermarket and restaurants is also a big advantage. If we go to Costa Calma again, we would like to book this apartment again. The whole booking process was totally uncomplicated. Thanks again for a perfect vacation.

Absolutely recommendable

We, as a family of 4, spent 2 weeks in this beautiful apartment and our expectations were exceeded. We have rented several vacation rentals (including in Fuerteventura), but none can compare to this apartment. Many people probably know that vacation rentals are often equipped with worn-out, discarded furniture. Here, everything is modern, very well-maintained, and excellently equipped. We wish the very nice landlords that all their guests handle this lovingly furnished apartment carefully. They really deserve it. Besides excursions, you don't need a rental car here. The beach is reachable in less than a minute and two supermarkets are also in direct proximity. Nevertheless, the vacation rental is very quiet. You don't have anyone above you who could disturb, and through the separate terrace, you don't notice anything from your neighbors. This great vacation rental is definitely our first choice for us on Fuerteventura. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for everything!

Here is guaranteed to feel good!

I have already stayed in many holiday homes in Costa Calma. All of them were very beautiful and also functional. But in none of them have I felt as comfortable and as safe as in "the oasis of calm".
As I was traveling alone, safety was very high on my list of priorities, which was fully met.
Fortunately, I also had the chance to meet the owners of this beautiful holiday home, as they were on site at the same time as me. Quietly reserved and, when the opportunity arose, always there for me with pleasant conversations. Also, there was a check-in both before and after the vacation to inquire if everything was alright. There is nothing to complain about the entire accommodation. Everything that delights a vacationer is available. Additionally, every room, as well as the terrace, is decorated with beautiful pictures, light displays, and lamps, making it easy to feel comfortable. I slept excellently in the large bed, and I arrived back home truly rested. I had to say a sad goodbye but I look forward to more reunions with this beautiful oasis of calm.

A real oasis of peace!

We have been coming to Fuerteventura for many years. The holiday days in the "oasis of tranquility" are among the most relaxing and sustainable stays for us. The entire booking process was very easy and professional. In the bungalow with the large terrace and good and lush amenities, it is comfortable to live and sleep deeply and soundly at night. The walks to the beach, as well as to the shops and restaurants, are only a few steps away. And yet there is a wonderful peace throughout the entire facility. Simply wonderful and highly recommended.

Erholung pur

The apartment is very stylish and equipped with all comforts. Each bedroom has a well-kept bathroom. The kitchen and living room are tastefully furnished. From the living room, you have a beautiful view and direct access to the terrace with a fantastic sea view. The terrace is spacious, with plenty of sun loungers and a dining area. Everything is within walking distance. To the bakery, supermarket, etc. 5 min. and the restaurant tips are really worth recommending. So all in all, a great vacation! ! ! !

Tastefully furnished accommodation with a fantastic sea view.

We had a perfect holiday in this very well-equipped apartment. The terrace is large, beautifully designed, and sheltered from the wind. The furnishings are unusually high quality for a holiday rental. The contact with the landlords was very pleasant, and the on-site support by Martina was reliable, punctual, and friendly. We would love to come back.

Vacation.

The bungalow had everything you need for a relaxing vacation, whether a wonderful terrace, a kitchen with sharp knives, top bathrooms, and great furnishings. I think when my wife and I say we will come back, everything is said.

Wonderful and relaxing vacation

This was our first vacation rental in Fuerteventura. We had always stayed in hotels with "all-inclusive" packages so far! What always bothered us about "all-inclusive" was the hustle and bustle. We actually wanted to relax (which is part of a vacation)! In 2018, we tried a vacation rental for the first time! "Mrs." was initially skeptical because of prejudices, thinking I might as well stay at home because I have to do everything! Wrong. The man often went alone or sometimes together (for a big shopping trip). Like I said, it was our first vacation rental! Can't compare it to others. However, we are planning to rent a vacation apartment. We would have booked with the Hammer family again immediately (but unfortunately our desired time period is already booked). Regarding the apartment, I can only say that everything you need for everyday life is available. We could have left our games at home. Everything needed for a nice game night was available. Mats for possible yoga or Pilates exercises and also books were there. There was also other reading material! We had good contact with Ms. Hammer before our trip and also upon our arrival in Fuerteventura, Ms. Hammer inquired if everything was okay. There was also a warm welcome upon arrival at the apartment. Ms. Hammer also inquired about our vacation, how satisfied we were. It was a relaxing holiday for us. It also happened to us (woman) that we had to get used to our home again. :-/
With our own access to the beach, you can go to the beach in your swimwear.
We saw wonderful sunrises. . . . . The woman couldn't get enough of it. The terrace is great. Awning is important even in December! Breakfast on the terrace in December/January. . . . . fantastic!
We were surprised by the apartment's equipment and also the terrace. It is very comfortably furnished for a vacation rental. Not your usual standard equipment! Conclusion: We would book with Mrs. Hammer again immediately! It was a relaxing vacation. Thank youuuu

Quiet complex to feel good

The landlord had informed us in advance that there was a construction site right next door and that there might be some disturbances
Fortunately, we still agreed to stay because the accommodation is really great and there was not much of the construction noise. The complex and the flat were very well maintained. The equipment is very good and there are even sharp knives ;-). We would come back at any time.

Beautiful holiday

What can I say about this accommodation? Actually only positive. It is a very beautiful, lovingly and functionally furnished house with everything you need. Everything is available in the direct vicinity. From the beach to well-stocked supermarkets to the German bakery, everything is just a few minutes away, with the exception of the beach, where you can almost jump in ;) The house as well as the whole complex is very well maintained, which can also be said of the direct stand

We were always looked after in a nice and friendly way from the first contact with the enquiry, through the welcome on site and up to the "debriefing". We were always given advice and tips so that we could start our holiday right away. We wanted for nothing. We will gladly rent this accommodation again. Thank you very much, we had a very nice time.

Always happy to come back....

I would like to start with the booking, uncomplicated, the owners are always available and quite charming and reliable!
The chalet itself is furnished with great attention to detail and leaves almost nothing to be desired. A super fitted kitchen, a very cosy living room (which you really only need in the cooler months), bedroom or children's room with a very comfortable sofa bed and a fantastic bedroom with box spring bed. The whole is completed by 2 bathrooms "En Suite". Terrace is equipped with awning and sunbeds and even for yoga fans there are yoga mats. It is wonderful to practice the sun salutation at dawn. We like to come back and felt at home! Restaurant tips are also not zero-eight-fifteen but well worth a visit.

it doesn't get any better than this

Wonderful location in a super complex. We were a little worried that there would be a fully automatic coffee machine, which would have stressed us out because of the complicated and time-consuming cleaning programmes, but no. Our pad coffee machine, just like at home, was there and the daily holiday could begin with a great coffee. We were also happy that the washing machine and dishwasher were so easy to use. The compilations of tips of various kinds were super and very helpful.Our tip : in the local Spar there are no pods to buy either bring from home or buy in the big supermarket. For starters, we of course topped up for the following guests, as is generally the case. The bed is so comfortable and the view of the sea is a poem. Pure relaxation. Oasis of Relaxation

Very comfortable apartment with a beautiful kitchen (large refrigerator, dishwasher, ceramic hob with oven). Nice tableware for cozy moments on the spacious terrace is also available. The very comfortable bed, combined with the sound of the sea, provided a wonderfully relaxing sleep. The stylish bathroom with ample storage fully met our expectations. The second bedroom also has a chic, separate shower room. The living room, which we didn't really need, is tastefully furnished with a comfortable sofa and a great TV. Most of the time, we spent in the sun on the very nice, well-kept terrace. It is equipped with a cozy table and 4 chairs in the nook. We were happy about the electric awning, which ensured that our butter did not melt away. Even in fairly strong winds, we spent beautiful and relaxed reading hours on the sun loungers and were able to recharge our solar batteries super. Worth mentioning is the direct access from the property to the beach. You can simply jump into the water with your bathing suit. The landlady is an uncomplicated and nice woman who provided us with good tips. We will gladly come back, the next stay in the apartment is already planned.
