The bright smoke-free and pet-free ground floor apartment is accessible via two steps and consists of a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet, and a hallway with wardrobe and shoe cabinet.
A free car parking space is located about 20m in front of the house.

The apartment is fully tiled.
Additionally, there is an outdoor terrace with seating and a lawn for sunbathing in the garden available. Smokers can smoke undisturbed and sheltered under the porch or on the terrace.

The holiday home is in a prime location in Harlesiel, not far from the marina, ferry landing stage and dike crossing to the outer harbour and bathing beach. The paddle steamer "Concordia II" is just a few steps away. Combined with a small boat tour, you have the opportunity to explore the idyllic museum harbour of Carolinensiel with its historic flat-bottomed sailing boats.
The nearest restaurant is just a few minutes' walk away, and there is also a bakery in the immediate vicinity. Here you can buy fresh bread rolls and cakes in season.
In the centre of Carolinensiel you will find restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, banks, the harbour pharmacy, doctors, hairdresser and several shops for strolling, souvenirs, maritime gifts and everything for beach equipment.
In the season, the weekly market takes place every Tuesday at the museum harbour.
Of course, you can also walk the approx. 2 km to the centre of the village. There is a lot to discover along the beautiful Harle promenade, such as the view of the new "Seeperlen" (houses built on stilts), sailing school "Harlesail" with taster trips, historic sea rescue shed, the Friedrichsschleuse, Cliner Quelle (with swimming pool, sauna, fitness and wellness), cafés, restaurants, Old Pastorei and National Park House.
Along the way you will find a number of benches to rest on, and you can also fortify yourself with a fish roll from the coastal smokehouse in between.
The outer harbour of Harlesiel is also just a few minutes' walk from the holiday home. Excursions are offered there, such as to the seal banks. From the "Wattkieker" restaurant, which opened in 2014, you have a beautiful view of the harbour and the island ferries and, on a clear day, of the East Frisian islands of Wangerooge, Spiekeroog and Langeoog. If you are lucky, you will meet the last active crab fisherman of Harlesiel in the harbour and can watch the fresh catch being unloaded.
Continue on to the sandy beach. Here you have the opportunity to rent a beach chair.
During a walk along the beach promenade, you can enjoy the view of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site (note the tides) and breathe in the salty sea air.
Harlesiel also offers a heated outdoor swimming pool and a sunbathing lawn.

Carolinensiel is also worth a visit in winter. At Christmas time, a floating Christmas tree decorates the idyllic museum harbor, and the entire place shines in the glow of a sea of lights.

Very beautiful relaxing vacation
We were a week in the very beautiful, tastefully furnished holiday home. Nothing is missing. The house is very clean. Mrs. Schimmelpfennig is the good soul of it all. Thank you for the good care. We will come back.

Vacation rental for not young people
An apartment for the elderly. Minimal equipment. No oven available. Wi-Fi was used up after 3 days! All of it! So, getting information via the internet was no longer possible. The owner(s) had no interest in changing anything. We were told that it had always been enough before! This led me to the conclusion that predominantly older people without an internet desire stay here. Bad luck for us! Although I belong to the "older" generation, I can't do without the internet! There is a good one available, the bakery is 3 minutes away. Be careful in Carolinensiel, illegal parkers are harshly punished! 20 euros without a parking ticket but with a parking disc! Oh, fish lovers will get their money's worth! We don't eat fish. And it is very, very windy there. Surely there are people who feel comfortable there. With a mini paddle steamer, you can go back and forth from Harlesiel to Carolinensiel. There is a really great currywurst with fries at the snack bar. If we had known that earlier, we would have eaten it every day! Bicycles have to be rented. Inconvenient. You have to walk far to pick it up and the same when returning it. Too bad. The agent of this apartment is super nice! It's not her fault! The owners need to do something. For example, providing your non-new foldable bicycles to your guests, that would be something! They're just standing there, but you're not allowed to use them. We were really sad.

Es tut uns sehr leid, dass das WLAN-Angebot Ihren Ansprüchen nicht gerecht werden konnte und nehmen Ihre Kritik zum Anlass, dieses Angebot in Zukunft zu verbessern.
Leider ließ es sich in der Kürze der Zeit (Ihr Aufenthalt waren 5 Nächte!), trotz der Bemühungen der Eigentümerin nicht erreichen, das Guthaben beim Internet-Anbieter für diesen Monat aufzufüllen.
Zu Ihren Anmerkungen bezüglich des Backofens und der Fahrräder im Schuppen, lässt sich nur sagen, dass beides hier im Inserat nicht zum Angebot gehörte. Die Elektro-Fahrräder der Eigentümerin sind nun einmal privat, egal ob alt oder neu. Sie haben aber die Möglichkeit, eigene Fahrräder mitzubringen, es steht ein abschließbarer Unterstand zur Verfügung.
Ihr erworbenes Strafticket ist zwar sehr ärgerlich, aber müssen wir nicht alle die geltenden Regeln beachten?
Für kleinere Besorgungen hat man aber in Carolinensiel die Möglichkeit, ein kostenloses Kurzparkticket zu ziehen, die Parkscheibe ist nur an einigen ausgewiesenen Plätzen ausreichend.
Abschließend möchten wir noch erwähnen, dass unsere langjährigen zufriedenen Stammgäste aus allen Altersklassen kommen und es sich dabei keineswegs nur um Gäste des „älteren Semesters“ handelt.
Klarstellen möchten wir entgegen Ihrer Empfehlung noch, dass Urlaub mit Haustier bei uns leider nicht möglich ist.
