Location and surroundings of object
About 35 years ago, this holiday paradise was created on the Spanish Mediterranean coast on the model of Florida. Ampuriabrava is located in the bay of Roses on the Costa Brava, about 40 km south of the French border and about 130 km north of Barcelona. Ampuriabrava is considered the largest marina in Europe and is a modern resort with very good infrastructure. On more than 30 km of navigable seawater channels, villas with private jetties and beautiful gardens dominate the picture. In addition to the quiet residential areas, there is a wide range of restaurants, bars, cafes, boutiques, shopping arcades etc. in the center of the resort. The marina has slipways and cranes (up to 50 tons). There are also several multilingual doctors and pharmacies in town.
The conditions in Ampuriabrava are especially great for water sports: sailing, windsurfing, diving, fishing or by boat discover the beautiful coastline with its small idyllic bays and crystal clear waters - anything is possible. In addition, the kilometer-long, fine-grained sandy beach is ideal for families with children.
