Description
A warm welcome to Haus Leuchtfeuer: lovingly, modernly, and with high-quality solid wood furniture furnished to be allergy-friendly and family-friendly. Beds are already made, towels are ready, and a comfortable starter set in the bathroom and kitchen awaits you.
Enjoy the sun and the healthy climate in the beautiful garden with a large southwest terrace and sunbathing lawn. And if it’s not so sunny, relax by the fireplace in the large cozy sofa corner or browse, for example, one of the books from the house library in the comfortable reading chair.
The excellently equipped kitchen offers the best conditions for high-quality cooking pleasure and culinary experiences. After an eventful excursion, a sauna bath with a walk-in rain shower feels really good, and for constant contact with the outside world, our free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. The house has fast vDSL 50 internet and Wi-Fi throughout, which also connects the SMART LED TVs in the living room and bedrooms.
The little ones are warmly welcome. For them, many things are already on board: of course children's dishes & cutlery and, in the bedrooms, each a berth & enough space for the baby bed with boil-proof children's bedding and bed linen as well as the changing mat.
Shutters and opaque blackout blinds ensure pleasant sleeping comfort & privacy and also offer the possibility to sufficiently darken the bedrooms during the day.
The underfloor heating provides cozy warmth on colder days. It is produced using an environmentally friendly heat pump.
When supplying electricity to the house, we made sure that it is generated from renewable energy sources.

As state-certified health resort the fishing village Glowe offers many a possibility for an active and relaxing holiday. Glowe lies about 18 kilometres north of Bergen auf Rügen and is located at the western end of the boundary between the Jasmund peninsula and the narrow land bridge of Schaabe between the Baltic Sea (the bay of Tromper Wiek) and the lagoon of Großer Jasmunder Bodden.

CANCELLATION TERMS Under EU regulations, a guest is liable if he/she does not or only partly occupies the booked apartment or room (this include cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures). The guest is legally required to pay the cost of the agreed performance regardless of the reason for prevention. This is not a claim for damages, but a claim for performance. The place of jurisdiction is Chemnitz (Germany). It is important to us that our house is sustainable and especially suitable for allergy sufferers and children. That is why we place special value on our on-site manager, who also cleans the house professionally, makes the beds with high-quality allergy-friendly bed linen, and provides shower and hand towels as well as kitchen linen for you. We deliberately chose the company OSR, based in Glowe, which employs its locally resident staff not only during the high season but all year round, thus consistently ensuring excellent quality.

Very beautiful house with an attractively designed garden.
Everything you need is available, cutlery, dishes, glasses, pots and pans in abundance.
There were even cozy blankets for the sofa, unfortunately, we only discovered them on our last evening.
We slept very well in the beds, also plenty of space in the wardrobes.
Only a small espresso/coffee machine would have been nice (e.g., Tchibo from €80).

Simply beautiful!
The holiday home is located in a quiet, enclosed holiday home development and is simply beautiful! It is well-maintained and clean, lovingly furnished, and left nothing to be desired. The equipment is great, even for hobby chefs like us, there was nothing missing! We felt comfortable right away. The beds in the bedrooms were already made, so we were immediately in vacation mode. We wanted to explore the island by bike. For this, the house is the ideal starting point. We cycled in a star shape to the various sights. In the house, there is a folder with great descriptions of the destinations and routes. The advice from the landlords to take eBikes was worth its weight in gold. The island can be quite hilly and windy! Thanks again! The garden house is lockable and also has a power socket, so we could charge the bike batteries there. But also by foot, depending on which direction you leave the house, you can reach the Bodden, the pine forest, the beach, the small town of Glowe, or the chalk coast at the harbor in just a few minutes. Simply a great location.
In the evenings, we could enjoy the sauna and the fireplace. In the closet, there was a whole collection of games and a nice house library, so we almost had a TV-free vacation. But thanks to vDSL and WiFi throughout the house, our teens could also "relax". And here's another tip from us: On rainy days, we took a very worthwhile trip to the Mönchgut Hofbrennerei with a whisky distillery in Altreddevitz. A real hidden gem is almost next door, the cozy cafe moccavino and the smallest cake factory in Rügen. Definitely worth experiencing, in any weather!
