The house is furnished with a keen sense for materials and colors. High-quality solid wood furniture, clean lines, and a calm design create a pleasant, relaxed living atmosphere. The bathroom and separate toilet have been modernized.
The spacious garden with a garden house in the style of the bungalow offers several seating options—whether sun or shade, everyone will find their place here. The terrace invites you to long evenings and shared meals outdoors.
The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable box-spring beds. The double bed is 1.60 m wide, a single bed has an extra length of 2.20 m.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for cooking – including spices and cookbooks. The oven has an integrated microwave function.

The expansive North Sea beach is only about 900 meters away and easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. It is regularly ranked among the most beautiful and quietest beaches in the Netherlands and offers plenty of space, even in the high season. The surroundings are characterized by dunes, nature, and wide landscapes – ideal for walks, bike tours, and relaxing days at the beach. The location without through traffic ensures special peace and relaxation.
Sint Maartenszee itself is deliberately quiet and manageable. Restaurants and larger shopping facilities are located nearby and are generally easily accessible by car.
Amsterdam is suitable for a day trip and can be reached in about 45 minutes.

Perfect vacation
We had a great time in this holiday home. The location is ideal for relaxing walks, and since there are very good bicycles available, we could also go on nice bike rides.
We really liked the furnishings; you feel at home right away, and as for the amenities – everything is there, just like at home! The garden is beautiful and sheltered from the wind, allowing us to enjoy it even at this time of year.
The quiet surroundings provide pure relaxation. The landlords are very friendly, and we are looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the beach and garden even more!

Gladly again!!
To get straight to the point:
We were completely thrilled and will definitely come back!
The furnishings of the house were impressive and left nothing to be desired.
Particularly noteworthy is the tasteful decor; you can truly tell that someone put a lot of heart into the design.
The kitchen was fully equipped, with modern appliances and everything one needs and more. The living room is very cozy, large TV, fast Wi-Fi, games and a beautiful collection of books.
The garden was another highlight. It was also well-maintained and lovingly designed. We happily used the available grill.
The holiday home was immaculate upon our arrival. It was clear that great importance is placed on hygiene and maintenance here. This significantly contributed to our well-being.
The landlords were extremely friendly and uncomplicated. We always received quick and helpful responses to our questions.
The vacation home is nicely quiet - perfect for clearing the mind. At the same time, there are plenty of excursion options in the area. Great bicycles are also available and can be used; we will take advantage of that more often next time!

Okay - but without repetition.
The house is located in a safe vacation home complex in St. Martenszsee, which can only be accessed with a gate pass. All the houses are similarly designed, lined up next to each other, and relatively alike with back gardens.
The amenities are good. As usual, there is a washing machine and dryer; the kitchen is well-equipped, with sharp knives and beautiful dishes (where you always fear breaking something :)). It took some getting used to that the dishwasher is in the storage room in front of the house. The Sony TV is very slow to operate; according to our findings, all channels are available via waipu, but we only realized this ourselves after 5 days, as there was no response from the landlord to our inquiry via WhatsApp. The electrical systems and lighting were not optimal and everything was simply too dark for us overall. The decor, as always, is a matter of taste. The garden was nice/quiet and was used most by us. Our highlight was the bicycles! The beach is reachable by bike in about 8 minutes, and on foot in about 20 minutes. The beach is well visited and monitored.
The contact with the rental couple was slow; after payment, we had to wait a long time for the documents, and only after inquiring did we receive a response. The same procedure occurred with the return of the deposit. The house rules seemed very strict to us and felt limiting; after 15 years of holidaying in Holland, we have actually never seen anything like it :). Overall, we had a nice vacation; good location; not much TV watching :), we will not book this house again.

Retreat behind sand dunes
For Rhinelanders who usually stop on the peninsulas of the southwest coast on their way to the Netherlands, Noord-Holland is a worthwhile insider tip: Sint Maartenszee actually has the most beautiful beach in Holland. No mass tourism, but plenty of space to play and dig in the sand. Weather experts also claim that this stretch of coast has the most sunshine hours in all of Holland. So, we can only confirm! If there happens to be a little cloud in the sky, it's worth taking a trip to Alkmaar, where there is a charming old town with shopping streets and cafes - and of course delicious cheese that is still brought to the market in large loaves from the scales. Our charming bungalow accommodation has been the perfect starting point for exploring the dunes, taking long beach walks, and cycling tours in the area. Because the direct access to the houses in the residential park is car-free, all you can hear outside in the garden lounge chair is birdsong and the rustling of the wind. Wonderful. A holiday home, as stylish as it is practical, that we could absolutely enjoy. That's why we will definitely come back!

Ideal zu jeder Jahreszeit
The cozy holiday home is sheltered and captivates from the moment you enter with its tasteful furnishings. Artists feel at home here - both the furniture and the matching and attractive pictures immediately create a cozy atmosphere. The heating quickly makes the house warm. The beds are top-notch and the bedrooms are truly cozy. A very spacious ambiance overall, which continues in the large garden. We couldn't enjoy it yet, but the cozy garden arbor with bench and large terrace with stylish furniture allowed us to dream of cozy summer hours. The great bicycles from the garden shed (4 in total) served us very well - they quickly took us to the highly recommended beach pavilions for an aperitif, even at this time of year. After that, we went to the fully equipped and high-quality kitchen for "gourmet cooking." The practical, separate storage room next to the entrance provides the opportunity to leave the "sandy shoes" outside after resting for a few minutes on the comfortable teak bench in front of the house.
Absolutely perfect all around!
