Our detached holiday home "Noordlücht", completed in 2017, offers space for 5 people, 4 * certification, quiet cul-de-sac location. The holiday home is bright and comfortably furnished, ideal for relaxing and feeling good
On the ground floor there is a large, open and light-flooded dining and living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy sitting area and access to the large sun terrace and garden. Smart TV with WLAN, fast, unlimited internet access, sheep room for 2 persons, complete bathroom, storage room with washing machine and small freezer, entrance area with staircase. Underfloor heating and electric shutters in all rooms, fly screens.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located at the bathing lake in Aurich-Tannenhausen and has its own private bathing beach. The adjacent public bathing lake, which has been one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany for years, has a separate children's area with DLRG supervision. The beach has a wakeboard facility with beach bar, boat, bicycle and beach chair rental, stand-up paddling, children's playground, snack bar, sunbathing lawn, barbecue area and much more. A hiking trail leads around the lake. There is a riding stable and a fitness centre in the immediate vicinity. The beautiful nature invites you to extensive cycling and hiking tours on well-developed cycling and hiking paths
The location at the bathing lake offers the best conditions to explore the sights of East Frisia and the North Sea coast, the city of Aurich with its cosy pedestrian zone and many restaurants, the surrounding towns, the Eternal Sea, a petting zoo for children in Rechtsupweg, the East Frisian islands, the siel harbours and much more. Not far from the holiday home there is a climbing forest and a large adventure pool. There is much to discover.

Wonderful place for vacation
We have been to the holiday home "Noordlücht" for the umpteenth time. This vacation was perfect again - even the East Frisian weather left hardly any wishes unfulfilled. Small but meaningful adjustments have been made since the last visit, such as a lockable bike garage behind the house. This is designed for 3 bikes. In the bedroom on the upper floor, there is now also a TV. Especially during the ongoing football World Cup, this can be relaxing. The house and the location are ideal for explorations in the surrounding area or as a starting point for cycling tours. In the evenings, the nearby swimming lake offers a nice opportunity for a little digestive walk. We have definitely not been here for the last time on vacation!

Perfect vacation in a modern, beautiful, and quiet holiday home in Aurich-Tannenhausen
We (a couple from Lucerne) spent ten wonderful vacation days in the holiday home of the Hellmers family in Aurich-Tannenhausen from September 14 to 24, 2025. The journey took us from Lucerne via Bad Hersberg to Aurich. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly. Mrs. Hellmers took the time to show us everything in the house and explain the most important details – such as waste separation and equipment instructions. The check-in as well as the check-out went absolutely smoothly and competently.
The holiday home is located in a quiet settlement, just a few steps from a small, idyllic lake. On the terrace, we were able to relax in the lounge chair and enjoy the soothing silence, which we do not know from Lucerne. Aurich is ideal for excursions (by car) to discover East Frisia and its islands. The house itself is modern (built in 2018), very tastefully and lovingly furnished, as well as excellently equipped – from the modern kitchen with all appliances to the three bedrooms, three televisions, and two toilets. Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained, so we felt at home right away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home. For us, it is clear: We would love to come back anytime.

100% Satisfaction
Dear Hellmers family,
We felt completely at home in your house. Great layout, generous entrance area, and as a result, the staircase to the first floor is separated from the living area. Very good equipment, very, very clean. Warm welcome from Mrs. Hellmers.
As we spent the turn of the year in Tannenhausen, we cannot assess the amenities of the bathing lake. All in all, a good location with an unobstructed view of the lake.

Perfect holiday home
Our absolute favorite house in Tannenhausen, quiet location on the edge of the settlement, beautiful property, very well equipped, maintained, and very clean.
We especially like that there is a bedroom on the ground floor with a separate bathroom. The second spacious bedroom with a generous shower room is on the upper floor, and there is also a children's room with a single bed.
The house is attractively furnished and decorated, and we didn't miss anything in the kitchen. A welcome greeting and drinks are ready upon arrival.
Ms. Hellmers takes care of her guests warmly and is easily reachable.
We would be happy to come back.

Pure relaxation
We were allowed to spend the Pentecost days for the second time in the vacation home "Noordlücht", and it was not the last time! We immediately felt comfortable, you can't spend a vacation better. The surrounding area also invites you to relax. A little luck with the weather is also part of it, but there are also great indoor experiences nearby. From the EEZ in Aurich to Meyer Werft in Papenburg and Miniature Land in Leer, there are many beautiful excursions. The beach around the corner is top-equipped with beach volleyball, soccer field, and playground. You can't recharge your personal battery better. We are already looking forward to a reunion!

Das Haus und die Lage sind ideal für Erkundungen im Umland oder auch als Start für Radtouren. Abends bietet sich der nahegelegene Badesee für einen kleinen Verdauungsspaziergang an.
Wir sind definitiv nicht das letzte Mal zum Urlaub hier gewesen!
Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Siedlung, nur wenige Schritte von einem kleinen, idyllischen See entfernt. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir im Liegestuhl entspannen und die wohltuende Stille genießen, wie wir sie aus Luzern nicht kennen. Aurich eignet sich für Ausflüge (mit dem Auto) ideal Ostfriesland und deren Inseln zu entdecken.
Das Haus selbst ist modern (Baujahr 2018), sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet sowie hervorragend ausgestattet – von der modernen Küche mit allen Geräten bis hin zu den drei Schlafzimmern, drei Fernsehern und zwei Toiletten. Alles war äußerst sauber und gepflegt, sodass wir uns sofort wie zuhause fühlten.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Für uns steht fest: Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.
Besonders gefällt uns, dass es Parterre ein Schlafzimmer mit separatem Badezimmer gibt. Das zweite geräumige Schlafzimmer mit großzügigem Duschbad ist im OG, zusätzliche befindet sich dort ein Kinderzimmer mit Einzelbett.
Das Haus ist ansprechend eingerichtet und dekoriert, in der Küche fehlte uns nichts. Ein Willkommensgruss und Getränke stehen bei Ankunft bereit.
Frau Hellmers kümmert sich herzlich um Ihre Gäste und ist gut erreichbar.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Wir haben uns in Ihrem Haus zu 100 % wohlgefühlt. Tolle Aufteilung, großzügiger Eingangsbereich und dadurch ist die Treppe in die 1. Etage separiert vom Wohnbereich. Sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr sehr sauber. Herzlicher Empfang durch Frau Hellmers.
Da wir den Jahreswechsel in Tannenhausen verbracht haben, können wir die Annehmlichkeiten des Badesees nicht beurteilen. Alles in allem, eine gute Lage mit unverbautem Blick auf den See.
Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt, besser kann man Urlaub nicht verbringen.
Auch die Umgebung lädt zum Erholen ein.
Ein bisschen Glück mit dem Wetter gehört auch dazu, aber es gibt in der Nähe auch tolle Indoorerlebnisse.
Vom EEZ in Aurich über Meyer Werft in Papenburg bis zum Miniaturland in Leer gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele.
Der Strand um die Ecke ist mit Beachvolleyball, Fussballplatz und Spielplatz top ausgestattet.
Besser kann man seinen persönlichen Akku nicht aufladen.
Schon jetzt freuen wir uns auf ein Wiedersehen!
Es gibt unglaublich viele Indooraktivitäten in direkter Umgebung. Leider war das Wetter nicht das Beste, wir waren aber gut ausgestattet und mit Neoprenanzug waren wir auch im Aqua Park und auch im See schwimmen. Neoprenanzüge gibt es am See zum ausleihen.
Unser "Zuhause auf Zeit" an einem wundervollen Fleck Erde hat unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht.
Vielen Dank an Familie Hellmers, auch nochmal für die Zusendung des geliebten Ssepferdchen Handtuchs, was wir vergessen hatten. Top!
Dies bereits zum zweiten Mal in Folge „in Beschlag genommene“ Ferienhaus und die Umgebung (Badesee etc.) hat nichts an seien Charme verloren.

Für unseren Aufenthalt in Ostfriesland war Ihr Objekt "Haus Noordlücht" die perfekte Adresse, da es shr zentral gelegen ist und wir von dort alle unsere angepeilten Ziele an der Nordseeküste in kurzer Zeit erreicht haben. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren ausreichend vorhanden und gut erreichbar. Ihr Haus kann ohne Wenn und Aber empfohlen werden. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
Von Tannenhausen aus konnten wir auch bei nicht so tollem Wetter prima die Umgebung erkunden. Der Badesee war eine reine Freude für unser Enkelkind.
