Our detached holiday home "Noordlücht", completed in 2017, offers space for 5 people, 4 * certification, quiet cul-de-sac location. The holiday home is bright and comfortably furnished, ideal for relaxing and feeling good
On the ground floor there is a large, open and light-flooded dining and living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy sitting area and access to the large sun terrace and garden. Smart TV with WLAN, fast, unlimited internet access, sheep room for 2 persons, complete bathroom, storage room with washing machine and small freezer, entrance area with staircase. Underfloor heating and electric shutters in all rooms, fly screens.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located at the bathing lake in Aurich-Tannenhausen and has its own private bathing beach. The adjacent public bathing lake, which has been one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany for years, has a separate children's area with DLRG supervision. The beach has a wakeboard facility with beach bar, boat, bicycle and beach chair rental, stand-up paddling, children's playground, snack bar, sunbathing lawn, barbecue area and much more. A hiking trail leads around the lake. There is a riding stable and a fitness centre in the immediate vicinity. The beautiful nature invites you to extensive cycling and hiking tours on well-developed cycling and hiking paths
The location at the bathing lake offers the best conditions to explore the sights of East Frisia and the North Sea coast, the city of Aurich with its cosy pedestrian zone and many restaurants, the surrounding towns, the Eternal Sea, a petting zoo for children in Rechtsupweg, the East Frisian islands, the siel harbours and much more. Not far from the holiday home there is a climbing forest and a large adventure pool. There is much to discover.

Perfect vacation in a modern, beautiful, and quiet holiday home in Aurich-Tannenhausen
We (a couple from Lucerne) spent ten wonderful vacation days in the holiday home of the Hellmers family in Aurich-Tannenhausen from September 14 to 24, 2025. The journey took us from Lucerne via Bad Hersberg to Aurich. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly. Mrs. Hellmers took the time to show us everything in the house and explain the most important details – such as waste separation and equipment instructions. The check-in as well as the check-out went absolutely smoothly and competently.
The holiday home is located in a quiet settlement, just a few steps from a small, idyllic lake. On the terrace, we were able to relax in the lounge chair and enjoy the soothing silence, which we do not know from Lucerne. Aurich is ideal for excursions (by car) to discover East Frisia and its islands. The house itself is modern (built in 2018), very tastefully and lovingly furnished, as well as excellently equipped – from the modern kitchen with all appliances to the three bedrooms, three televisions, and two toilets. Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained, so we felt at home right away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home. For us, it is clear: We would love to come back anytime.

Dear Hellmers family,
We felt completely at home in your house. Great layout, generous entrance area, and as a result, the staircase to the first floor is separated from the living area. Very good equipment, very, very clean. Warm welcome from Mrs. Hellmers.
As we spent the turn of the year in Tannenhausen, we cannot assess the amenities of the bathing lake. All in all, a good location with an unobstructed view of the lake.

Perfect holiday home
Our absolute favorite house in Tannenhausen, quiet location on the edge of the settlement, beautiful property, very well equipped, maintained, and very clean.
We especially like that there is a bedroom on the ground floor with a separate bathroom. The second spacious bedroom with a generous shower room is on the upper floor, and there is also a children's room with a single bed.
The house is attractively furnished and decorated, and we didn't miss anything in the kitchen. A welcome greeting and drinks are ready upon arrival.
Ms. Hellmers takes care of her guests warmly and is easily reachable.
We would be happy to come back.

Pure relaxation
We were allowed to spend the Pentecost days for the second time in the vacation home "Noordlücht", and it was not the last time! We immediately felt comfortable, you can't spend a vacation better. The surrounding area also invites you to relax. A little luck with the weather is also part of it, but there are also great indoor experiences nearby. From the EEZ in Aurich to Meyer Werft in Papenburg and Miniature Land in Leer, there are many beautiful excursions. The beach around the corner is top-equipped with beach volleyball, soccer field, and playground. You can't recharge your personal battery better. We are already looking forward to a reunion!

Come in - feel good
We are in this holiday home settlement for the second time, for the first time in the Hellmers family's holiday home. A beautifully furnished holiday home that definitely has everything you need. We felt comfortable right away. The holiday home offers enough space for a family with two children (2 and 6 years old). A travel cot and a high chair were provided for us, and a stair gate was installed. We were welcomed by the cleaning staff who showed us everything and explained it to us. The contact before arrival through Mrs. Hellmers was uncomplicated and very friendly.
There are incredibly many indoor activities in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best, but we were well equipped and with wetsuits we were also able to go to the Aqua Park and swim in the lake. Wetsuits can be rented at the lake.
Our "home away from home" in a wonderful spot on earth made our vacation perfect.
Thanks to the Hellmers family, also again for sending us the beloved seahorse towel that we forgot. Top!
