Description
The rest-roofed terraced corner house is located approx. 3km from the centre of the village of Zingst, directly on the beach. It was built in 1999 and extensively renovated in 2017. All bathrooms were renewed, also the floors and a new sauna was installed. The house has approx. 145 m2 living space and a full basement, the plot is approx. 450 m2. There are two parking spaces and (outside) a bicycle stand for several bicycles.
Layout: spacious entrance area with cloakroom, then on the ground floor the kitchen and living room with access to the terrace. The kitchen is made of cherry wood (solid) and has an additional dining area for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, extractor bonnet, fridge, freezer, coffee machine and kettle. In the living room there is seating for at least 6 people, a large flat-screen TV, a DVD player and a compact CD system. WLAN is available. On the terrace (sun from early morning until late afternoon) there is garden furniture including sun loungers and parasol.
The first floor offers a large bedroom (master bedroom) with another TV and access to the balcony (sun from noon until sunset) and another bedroom with two separate beds. A bathroom with a large shower is the third room on this level.
On the 2nd floor you will then find the third bedroom, here also with a double bed.
In the basement there is a large room where the new coin-operated sauna installed in 2017 can be used (2 €/ 30 minutes). In the sauna there are two loungers and an additional bench, outside the sauna there are two resting loungers for the time between sauna sessions. Separated from this room is another WC and a second large shower. Furthermore, there is an additional (3rd) guest toilet in the basement level. A washing machine and a dryer are also available free of charge in the basement.

Location and surroundings of object
Achtern Diek is located in the centre of the national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". The house is about 100 m from the water as the crow flies, directly on the dyke. The village of Zingst has fortunately retained the character of a family resort, but the infrastructure has been considerably improved in the last 25 years (restaurants, shops, leisure activities such as surfing, kite surfing, etc.). Bicycles can be rented at several places, also directly near the house, and the possibilities to use them are terrific! If you are looking for culture, there are opportunities for day trips to the World Heritage cities of Stralsund and Wismar. Rügen is also easily accessible for a day trip, Hiddensee in summer directly by ship from Zingst harbour. In September/October, the cranes of Northern Europe gather directly in Zingst, from where they fly south in their thousands --- a unique natural spectacle!

Since taking over my holiday home, I have also offered it to guests. The on-site handling, including the handing over of the keys, is done by an agency in Zingst with whom I have been working for many years. I do not live in Zingst myself.
