Our vacation home Casdanna Roses is located on a slope directly at the Cala (small bay) Canyelles Petites.

The beach is 150 meters away as the crow flies and accessible via stairs, or 400 meters via an easier path.
Thanks to its location on a hill, it offers an impressive panoramic view of the bay and the sea. Canyelles is a quiet neighborhood of Roses, about 2 km from the town center, making it especially suitable for families with children or travel groups who want to spend a relaxing vacation.
Casdanna is a three-family house consisting of three individual apartments. The three apartments have terraces of up to 40 m², where you can enjoy the Spanish sun and the magnificent view thanks to the south-facing orientation almost all day. The living area of the apartments varies between 75 and 95 m².
Casdanna Roses Apartment 1:

Our house is located in a very quiet residential area with supermarkets, restaurants, etc., only 2000 meters from the center of Roses.

Location and surroundings of object
Casdanna is located on a hillside overlooking the bay of Canyelles Petites — a dreamlike beach with fine, golden sand.
The bay stretches for about 350 metres in length and 25 metres in width, and is known for its crystal-clear waters and gently sloping sandy seabed.
The bay opens like a natural amphitheatre facing the sea. On the sunlit slopes, white houses and small apartments nestle among pine trees and oleanders.
Here, “Costa Brava” doesn’t mean crowded promenades, mass tourism or hotel resorts with all-inclusive buffets.
Canyelles is a quiet residential area with no large hotels or high-rise buildings, located just 2 km from the centre of Roses (Girona – Costa Brava) and less than 40 minutes by car from the French border.
Right next to the Cap de Creus Natural Park — an area of breathtaking beauty where unique geology shapes the landscape.
Here, the coastline —the “Costa”— is truly “Brava”: where the sea meets the mountains, the Pyrenees seem to sink into the Mediterranean, revealing countless unspoiled beaches and coves with crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

Roses, recommendations and places of interest:
The medieval citadel of La Ciutadella is one of the city's most famous sights. To visit this monument, we recommend a guided tour, which you can complete on site.
The Parc Megalític with monoliths and stone tombs from the Neolithic period is also worth a visit, as is the Castell de la Trinitat, very close to the FWs. This fortress has three artillery platforms, two below for the defence of the Bay of Roses and one above to protect against attacks from the Puig Rom mountain. Puig Rom is the name given to the area where the house is located.
Of course, you must take a circular walk in the Cap de Creus Natural Park and visit Cadaqués, where the former home of the artist Dalí is located.
The 1000-year-old monastery of San Pere des Rodes is also worth a visit.
Our beach in Canyelles on the Puig Rom hill with a wonderful view of the surrounding area, Plaça Catalunya with its Art Nouveau town hall, the Port de Roses harbour and the town's promenade are all within easy walking distance.
If you have the opportunity, you should hire a licence-free boat up to 4 metres (if you don't have a licence).
Gastronomically, the area is a paradise for fish lovers. The following restaurants will only serve what they have got fresh that day at the fish auction and are mainly frequented by local residents:

Gladly again
We arrived at the apartment late in the evening and immediately felt comfortable. We could enjoy the view of the bay and the sea from the terrace in the morning during breakfast and late into the evening. The beach and shopping facilities are quickly accessible on foot. We would love to come back next year.

Fantastic view of the sea.
We had a wonderful 9 days in Roses. The apartment is located in the most beautiful corner of the town for us, with a fantastic view of the super beautiful bay! For the first time, we were not disappointed by the photos vs. reality. The apartment is cozy and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable :-) Diana, the lady who is there for you on site, is a gem and super nice. We definitely won't be the last time there! Sarah, Paul, and Mia.

Great stay!
Very good stay in this apartment with a view of the Canyelles Petites bay.
There is nothing missing in this apartment!
The beds are comfortable, the view is beautiful, the terrace gets sun for a good part of the day, and the private closed garage are real advantages.
For the appreciated details: there are small beach games for children, 2 toilets in the apartment, and umbrellas (including one for the beach).
Communication is easy with Erich and Diana. Diana is available, multilingual, and friendly.
A great way to spend a good vacation!!!

Relaxing vacation
We had a very nice holiday in a quite pleasant holiday apartment. The apartment has a small terrace with a wonderful view of the bay of Petit Canyelles. For those who love the beach, it's just a short walk away, and for mountain lovers, the most beautiful spots can be discovered by car. The apartment was well-equipped, very comfortable beds, lovely furnishings. We will come back.
