Built on one level, it offers no tripping hazards and its furnishings are especially tailored to the needs of families with small children. Of course, couples or families with older children are also warmly welcome to discover the relaxing surroundings of the holiday home Sun, Harz & Stars. All rooms in the holiday home are equipped with windows and can be heated. The holiday home is centrally located in the idyllic mountain village of Hohegeiß, and yet, thanks to the wonderful views, you feel as if you are right in the middle of nature.
During your stay, explore a unique spot on earth – Hohegeiß, one of the highest places in the Harz, combines tradition, nature, and – as a result – a varied range of leisure activities for its guests. The well-known South Harz towns of Bad Sachsa and Bad Lauterberg are easily accessible from here, but attractions in the northern Harz, such as the Brocken or the Hexentanzplatz, also invite you to visit from our location.
The modern and comfortably furnished holiday home offers plenty of space with 125m² and is ideally suited for couples and families with 1-2 children and a baby. We have equipped the house to be suitable for babies and small children. Available in the kitchen: dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, espresso machine, electric kettle, toaster, various spices, ceramic hob with oven, fridge-freezer, and sufficient dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils. For our little guests, there is extra children's tableware and bibs. A high chair is available at the dining table. For the sibling who is still too small to sit on the chair, there is a separate booster seat for the regular chair. The living room offers a TV with DVB-T, USB and HDMI connection as well as a Nintendo Wii with a large selection of games and accessories. A separate seating area with 2 comfortable armchairs can be used as a nursing and reading corner. Children can look forward to various board games. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The children's room has a baby bed (0-3 years), a single bed and a pull-out bed (up to 70 kg body weight). In the bedrooms, large wardrobes offer plenty of space for your belongings. There are enough clothes hangers and a safe available.
In the utility room, our guests have a drying rack with pegs available for free use. The utility room offers enough space for the stroller and winter sports equipment. A separate wardrobe for winter clothing is available here.
Bed linen, children's bed linen, towels, and dish towels are included in the price. The beds are made. For the baby or toddler, there is a play mat / crawling blanket, which is also suitable for outdoor use. Hooded bath towels, a baby bathtub, and a changing table with changing mat are available in the bathroom.
For the older child, there is a potty, a toilet seat reducer, and a stool for the sink.
A carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector are present.

The Harz offers a variety of different leisure activities and attractions. The toboggan run is 100 m from our holiday domicile.
The house and the garden are available to our guests for their own use. Directly in front of the house on the property is the parking space for the car, with convenient access to the house and with separate access into the housekeeping room, where the stroller can be parked. The cottage is located on a quiet side road and yet only 3 min to the village center.

| We have fresh towels and bed linen, which is for us self-evident and will not be charged extra. So you can start immediately in your well-earned vacation. Electricity, water and gas are included. No extra charge for a baby bed. Wrap-around and windlass are available and do not need to be brought along. We offer fair and transparent pricing, without hidden additional costs! On the spot there is also a tourist tax (1,20 € / day / adult or 0,60 € / day / child from 6 years), which is charged by the spa administration. The garden invites you to wander in the pavilion with the picturesque view over the Bärenbachtal. On the terrace you can dine undisturbed and end the day.
The adjoining meadow belongs to the fully fenced property and is the largest playroom for your children. In the winter the mountain meadow becomes the in-house toboggan slope. Even small children can try their first tobogganing. Because it is quiet, manageable for the parents and safe. A great fun for all.

Holiday home
The process with the landlords went smoothly.
The holiday home is located in a quiet area, and from the living room, there is a nice view of the field.
The beds and the couch were much too hard for us, so we left with back pain.
With the oven, one had to be careful that the door didn't slip out of one's hands and end up on the floor. Be careful when baking your pizza. To get the shower door open and closed requires a bit of strength, as the sealing rubber of the doors does not close properly but gets stuck. Parking and exiting the driveway with a large car is not for everyone. We informed the landlords that we have to leave earlier due to severe pain. Unfortunately, there was no accommodation, and we returned home without any recovery.

Super holiday home for families
This is already our second stay in this holiday home and we feel very comfortable and can only recommend it. The holiday home has everything you need and leaves nothing to be desired :-).

Like at home
The holiday home is gorgeous and super beautifully furnished. The view is incredible and the children's room with the toys and everything is just great. This is the second time we have stayed in this holiday home and we plan to go back next year. The location is just great. You can take very nice walks there and it is quiet and relaxed in the village. Everything else is within easy reach. We had super nice days and felt at home in the holiday home.
