Beautiful holiday home for a vacation by the sea

This very beautiful holiday home is located directly by the Belgian North Sea, separated only by an impressive wooden bridge, with a stunning beach for long walks. The house is very well equipped for family holidays with dogs, very clean, fully equipped kitchen, fenced all around, and designed so that neighbors do not have a direct view. A private parking space was in front of the house. The contact with the landlady was very friendly, and all questions were answered promptly. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. We can definitely highly recommend this house.

Restful vacation.

We had a great relaxing vacation with our dog. The location of this house is excellent and also visually very appealing. The house has everything you need. The beautifully landscaped, fenced property is sheltered from the wind. Our dog had plenty of space to run around, and we could enjoy the sunshine. A very clean beach can be reached in a few minutes. Additionally, there are nice, well-maintained hiking trails nearby. Shopping options and restaurants are close by and can also be easily reached on foot. Communication with Ms. Hanson was very good from the beginning of the vacation until the end, and we also received many tips. We can only recommend the landlords and the house.

Everything was fine, especially the proximity to the beach. We spent a lovely holiday with 5 adults and one dog. The holiday home is as described. The property is fully fenced and is very suitable for a holiday with a dog.

Cosy and very friendly furnished holiday home in a quiet location, very close to the beach.

We had a great sunny week at the Belgian North Sea coast. The house was very clean and well furnished. Even for cooking fans, there were no wishes left open with the equipment of the kitchen, including ingredients. We immediately felt comfortable in the atmosphere of the house. Thanks to the detailed information from Mrs. Hanson, we were able to use the week optimally for excursions in the near as well as more distant surroundings, such as with the coastal tram to De Pann or a trip to Bruges. Also, her detailed tips on shopping possibilities, restaurants, etc., were great and helped us find our way very quickly. The contact with the landlord was very reliable and extremely friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

Easter with the family on the Belgian coast

It always depends on what you are looking for. What we were looking for, we found: a holiday home in close proximity to an unspoiled beach that exceeded our expectations.
Facilities: Sufficient space for a family with two adult children, with retreat options for everyone. The furniture in light wood and the pictures from the area matched our taste. Wi-Fi worked at all times. The garden is completely fenced, so our dog could run around. Each house has a parking space for the car.
Price/performance: Honestly, we didn't compare too many options. We were able to quickly and completely easily handle all financial matters. We found it very positive that there are absolutely no hidden costs.
Service: Mrs. Hanson always answered all our questions quickly, competently and very friendly. We received the odd tip via email, which was very helpful. A recommendation from us to our successors: The Frituur at an intersection in Zuienenkerke, a few kilometers to drive, but the finest Belgian fast food!
Location: Could hardly be better. You only need to walk over a bridge and you are already by the water, everything open to the right and left. Dunes, beach, sea, amazing! We were there the week before Easter, so we can't say how crowded it is in the summer and what rules apply for dogs. The quite busy road between the holiday park and the dunes could hardly be heard in our house, as well as the large facility behind our holiday park, which was, however, very empty. Footpaths lead to Wenduine or Blankenberge. If you want fresh baked goods in the morning, you have to make the trip.
Cleanliness: We have no complaints, everything was clean, tidy, and well-kept.
Our opinion is that those looking for a lot of nature, peace, and relaxation will feel right at home here!

Neat, homely, welcome

We found a lovely, lovingly and functionally furnished holiday home. Thanks to the great weather, we were able to enjoy all meals on the sunny terrace, and the way to the beautiful beach is short.
The contact with the landlady was trouble-free, enquiries were answered quickly and in a friendly manner.

Great holiday week in a great holiday home

We spent a very nice holiday week in Mrs. Hanson's fisherman's cottage called Jaenneke. The house is located in a privately owned holiday park very close to the sea. Just over a large wooden bridge and you are already at the beach. The house is quaint and very cozy furnished. There were four of us and had plenty of space. We slept wonderfully, the mattresses of the beds are very good. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Although the road runs directly by the holiday park, it is very quiet, and no car noise could be heard. There is a fenced garden around the house, allowing our little one to jump around without worry. Dogs would also have a safe place to run.
Mrs. Hanson is a very friendly and caring landlady who prepared us well for our stay with all the necessary information. We thank her once again warmly for that. We can only recommend this vacation home!

A wonderfully and lovingly furnished holiday home! *the perfect vacation*

The lovingly furnished fisherman's house Jeanneke is beautifully located between Wenduine and Blankenberge and only 150 meters (if at all) from the beach. It is very clean, warm, and fully equipped. Especially the open kitchen (with a top dishwasher), the high-quality tableware, kitchen utensils, and the fully stocked spice cabinet invite you to cook and linger immediately. Furthermore, the fisherman's house is completely fenced in, so our dogs could also relax in the sun during the day. We enjoyed our autumn vacation to the fullest in 10/2021 and felt very comfortable right from the first minute. Not least because it was always cozy warm in the fisherman's house. The mattresses on the ground floor were also high quality. We cannot judge the beds upstairs as we were only two. For a beach vacation with a dog, this fisherman's house is nearly perfect. All the described information is correct and the WiFi network worked flawlessly, as did everything else. The restaurant "Eulenspiegel" and the highly recommended fish restaurant "Oesterput" are also within walking distance. We also got to know the landlady, Mrs. Hanson, as a very hospitable and helpful contact person with many tips before and during the trip, and we are sure: we will come back and are already looking forward to our next vacation at Fischerhaus Jeanneke.

Super Häuschen

We were five (parents and 3 children aged 18, 11, 9) in the house and had plenty of space, even for six it is certainly wonderful. Great fully equipped kitchen, everything clean and in good condition, friendly and cozy furnishings, good beds and even children's toys and board games available. Only a 5-minute walk from the very clean supervised beach. From our point of view, absolutely recommendable!

Dream vacation on the Belgian coast.

We were able to spend a wonderful vacation week in the very nice, cozy, and very well-equipped holiday home Olivia, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the house Jeanneke. Thanks to this listing, we were able to find the neighboring house. We felt at home. The houses in the holiday park are beautifully situated, and you can reach the beach within a few minutes. This way, you can still enjoy the wonderful sunset after an evening thunderstorm. The dunes invite you to go hiking and are so varied that even with small children, suddenly several kilometers have been walked. We would love to spend our holidays in this house again. The landlady, Mrs. Hanson, is very friendly and responds promptly to inquiries. Therefore, the preparation, during the holidays, and the return of the house went smoothly. A wonderful time by the sea

We found everything we needed. The equipment was perfect, everything there that you could possibly need. The tips for things to do were very helpful. Beautiful holiday home in a great location

We spent our holiday here with 5 adults and 3 dogs in June 2018. The cottage is well equipped and the kitchen has all the kitchen utensils and crockery you need. The fenced garden was perfect for the dogs. A big plus is the short walk to the beach. We all enjoyed it very much.

Fischerhaus Jeanneke, Belgium

In 2017, we were already for the fourth time in "our fisherman's house" with our dog "Sammi". But living here is also ideal with children. From the residential park, you can walk directly to the beach over a wooden bridge. Normally, our dog hates stairs, but he easily walks down the stairs to the sea because he is already looking forward to the wide beach and the "seagull hunt". The terrace and the small, fenced garden at the house provide us and our dog with additional freedom of movement, and children will also enjoy this situation. It was always important to us that the kitchen is so well-equipped.
