Nice house, nice pool. Enough places in the shade. Opposite the house is a wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended!!! To the sea is about 35 minutes drive. The only downside is that the crockery is not available for 8 people, we miss, for example, a large plate of salad spinner and glasses. But there is a solution for everything.

The very beautiful house close to the Croatian/Slovenian border was probably the cleanest holiday home we ever have booked; they even changed our bed linen and towels after a week of stay and cleaned all the floors. With the pool and plenty of space, the house is perfect to relax and take a step back and enjoy the scenery of Slum, which consists of a few old, traditional natural stone houses. For shopping and eating out you'll have to drive for 10-20 minutes, Slum doesn't have a store or dining place.
It's a good base to drive to Trieste, Pula or Ljubljana and we'd recommend visiting those. The owner is very forthcoming and organizes everything so you'll have time to relax, be sure to drop by his pizzeria because the food is great.
The house has plenty of tech & wifi/internet are as almost as you'd wish (I did measure 160/100Mbit), so having some serious binge watching when the weather is not perfect is no problem. We really did enjoy our two-week stay here – two thumbs up for Dinko and his team!

Everything perfect !!
The house is very nice and clean!
The furnishing is typical of the country and very well maintained.
The pool with about 5x10 meters is very large (it doesn't come across that way in the pictures).
The owner is very nice and helpful!
We grilled almost every evening or went to the Konoba to eat across the street, also highly recommended!
We would rent the house again at any time!
