Le Mas le Clos du Prieur is situated right in the heart of Provence, close to Saint Rémy, at the foot of the Alpilles Hills. Le Mas le Clos du Prieur is set in two acres of enclosed garden filled with scented Mediterranean plants and shady, century old, sycamore-trees. It is surrounded by lush countryside with a paddock where bulls and horses graze. Tasteful and authentically restored this ravishing and romantic 250 year old house offers peace, joy of living and relaxation in an inviting atmosphere and a magical provencal setting. Le Mas le Clos du Prieur will seduce you by the harmony between the preserved architecture of the building itself and the comfort and beauty of the inside. The apartments offer an opportunity to savour the art of living "á la provencal". The romantic park, it's flowered intimate south facing courtyard and the individual terraces in front of each apartment will delight all of those who love authenticity and tranquillity surrounded by the delightful songs of crickets. Mas le Clos du Prieur means something like `farm for prayers´ and must, as far as we were able to find out, have been connected to the near cloister `Les Dames Blanches´ in Móllèges . In the beginning monks found housing and silence here occasionally, until the house and its properties were used for reasons. The house with its rebuilt barns and over 250 year old wells - the rare well-edge measures 2,20 m and is manufactured from one single stone - lies embedded into an extensive, approximately 8.000 qm2 big grounds.

Mas le Clos du Prieur offers four generous, individually shaped apartments. All are equipped with kitchen, incl. refrigerator, gas stove, sink etc, and have a spacious bathroom with shower. All apartments provide satellite-TV (Astra), the possibility of Internet connection ( WLAN ) and a direct access to the garden of the house. Garden furniture and a BBQ are at your disposal. In colder seasons, a central gas heating system provides cosy residential-comfort. You sleep in Queen size double beds, according to apartment on a gallery or in separate bedrooms. Extra beds, cots and high chairs for children are available. The parking place is on the property and is secured with a remote controlled gate.

Final cleaning: apatment Lumiere, Mistral and Camargue 55.- Euro. Apartment Monte Christo 75.- Euro. Arriving at 2 pm departing at 10 am. Bed sheets, towels, ( linen )etc. are included and changed weekly. Extra charge for additional bed 18 Euro per day. Heating is charged with 42.- Euro weekly. Pets are welcome (extra fee final cleaning: 20 Euro). We are at your service at anytime, for individuel arrangements please don´t hesitate to contact us.
