In the village, just a few steps from the house, you will find the bakery, where everything is so appetizing, the well-stocked grocery store, the bar, restaurants, the post office, the pharmacy . . .
The entrance to the beautiful, protected forest massif "LA MONTAGNETTE" is just a few steps from the house . . . This promises unforgettable walks and hikes among the trees and fragrant vegetation, thyme, rosemary, etc., in every season.
If you feel like visiting natural or cultural heritage sites, culturally rich cities, rivers, the sea, the mountains, etc., then Boulbon is the right place for you.

There are very many places worth seeing in the region, it's difficult to list them all!
Cities in the immediate vicinity: AVIGNON (Papal Palace, Pont d'Avignon...) ), the UNESCO World Heritage site ARLES (the Arena, the Baths, and now the spectacular Luma Tower designed by Frank Gehry), NÎMES (the Arena, the Gardens of the Fountain...), the pretty little town of St REMY DE PROVENCE (the Saint-Paul Monastery and the clinic where Van Gogh lived for a year), LES BAUX DE PROVENCE with its impressive landscapes and viewpoints, the PONT DU GARD, the beautiful town of UZES, the LUBERON... A little further away, each 1 hour away: Aix en Pce, Marseille, Montpellier.

In the summer, Provence is THE land of international festivals, with all cultural creators present. The theater festival in Avignon, the photo festival in Arles, the opera in Aix, the piano festival in La Roque d'Anthéron...
In July, the village is at the center of cultural events, as the international theater festival of Avignon takes place in the famous Boulbon quarry, the flagship venue of the festival. We are enthusiastic about gastronomy, art, and culture and look forward to sharing our insider tips with you!

Here is how you can reach us:
Arrival by car: Highway A9 (towards Toulouse, Nimes) Exit No. 22 (Roquemaure) then towards Avignon les Angles, after 12 km at the roundabout (Les Angles) take the direction to Avignon, after 2 km turn right towards Aramon. After 10 km towards Boulbon over the Rhone Bridge, then turn right, 4 more km on D35.
From Avignon towards Nimes, Aramon, Boulbon.
From Aix-en-Provence towards Arles, Tarascon, Boulbon. By Plane: Marseille Provence Airport, located 80 km from Boulbon, receives direct flights from various German cities. From there, you can take a bus to Arles (about 1 hour). Alternatively, a shuttle bus, which runs about every 10 minutes, will take you directly to the train station, where you can catch a train to Arles (also about 1 hour).
By Train: There are direct trains from Germany to Avignon TGV. Depending on when you arrive, we would be happy to pick you up from the train station, which is about 15 minutes away from us, for a transport cost allowance.
A few words about the village: BOULBON Its territory is divided into the plain with its cherry, apricot, peach, and nectarine plantations and the chain of hills that forms the protected mountain massif Montagnette. This results in very beautiful landscapes every season. The traditional festivals shape village life, which take place in the months of June, August, and September, and are very important for the residents. It is an opportunity to enjoy the large communal meals under the plane trees and admire the beauty of the Arles costume, which constitute the very special atmosphere and the richness of Provençal culture. In July, the Avignon Theatre Festival offers a performance in the stunning grounds of the former Boulbon quarry. Throughout the summer, concerts and events are held on the terrace of the castle, in its green theater, or in the village.
After the summer months, Boulbon is less active but still a lively village. It remains the central point from which one can explore the entire region: from the Camargue to the Luberon, from Pic Saint-Loup to Mont Ventoux.

Beautiful accommodation
A lovingly renovated accommodation in the historic center of Boulbon. Great amenities and tasteful decor. We felt very comfortable in the House Joillon!

Great holiday home in French style
The spacious holiday home is located not far from the center of the village in a picturesque setting. Bakery, small supermarket, post office, and restaurant can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. A few meters from the accommodation, there is a small parking lot where you can park your car.
The entire house is very well-kept, with a bedroom and a bathroom with large, comfortable beds on each floor. The kitchen and the living/dining area are located on the ground floor. All utensils are extensively available, whether it's the kitchen inventory, towels, blankets, etc.
From the terrace, there is an impressive view of the castle in Boulbon.
The hosts are very accommodating and easily accessible.

A beautiful apartment with everything the heart desires.
We felt incredibly comfortable. The furnishings are generous, very beautiful design, and very lovingly and cozy arranged. The layout of the apartment is ideal. The way to the supermarket, restaurants, and nature is very short. And the hosts are so friendly and helpful. I would wish for such an apartment in other places in the world as well.

Wonderfully renovated little house, lovingly furnished.
This holiday house is truly recommended if you love the charm of narrow streets with their atmosphere! And yet here, with the wonderful rooftop terrace, you have a view of the village with its church and fortress. You feel right at home due to the loving decor and at the same time inspired; there are artworks to admire everywhere! We would love to come back!

A house to feel good in
We felt very comfortable in the beautifully restored house in the historic center of Boulbon. The small house is modern and comfortably equipped. A bakery and grocery store are within a few minutes' walk, making it easy to stock up. It is very quiet to live there. It is enjoyable to wander through the narrow streets of the village. There are many interesting places to visit in the area. One can hike wonderfully in beautiful nature. The Hoffmann family is very hospitable. We will gladly come back.

Extraordinarily beautiful holiday home in Boulbon
The "Maison Jollion" is a very tastefully renovated holiday home in the historic center of Boulbon, a still very authentic Provençal village. From the rooftop terrace, there is a beautiful view of the castle and the Provençal roof landscape with the church. The house is very well and thoughtfully equipped. The many artworks further emphasize its unique character. I felt very comfortable at Maison Jollion, not least due to the warm welcome from Véronique and Ingo.

Summer holidays in the Maison Jollion
Nice hosts, very beautiful holiday home and Boulbon is a romantic place. If not in summer, then definitely in spring or preferably in autumn. Take part in an art course with Véronique and Ingo and experience the beauty of Provence.

We have designed the restoration of the Maison Jollion -combining the modern and the traditional- to welcome our guests in the most pleasant and cozy place possible. In parallel, we enthusiastically offer rentals to people who simply want to discover or rediscover Provence, both for the beauty of its landscapes and for its cultural richness. Boulbon, just a few kilometers from cities such as Avignon or Arles and on the edge of the magnificent nature reserve "Montagnette" is the best place for it. Not to mention the average of 300 days of sunshine per year!
