Description
In the north of Texel lies our detached bungalow (175 m2) for 8 to 10 people with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious sauna and large enclosed garden, beautiful open views, various play equipment for the children, several (3) terraces and a fixed large BBQ. Wonderful wide views over, among other things, the golf course and pine forest, quietly located on the edge of the park and close to the park center. Beach at 2 km. Smoking and pets NOT allowed. There are 8 single box spring beds, 1 bunk bed with 1 pull-out bed, and a baby bed for a child up to 2 years old.
Child-friendly
Many children's facilities such as children's tableware/cutlery, a crib, and a high chair. On the premises there is a large play structure with a slide and swings, a lookout tower, a sandbox, and real ship's ropes. Inside, there are various toys available such as dress-up clothes and games.

Location and surroundings of object
Our cottage is located next to the best-equipped family holiday park of the Wadden, De Krim. The park offers various paid activities such as an indoor swimming pool, climbing park, laser tag, bowling, indoor mini-golf, bike rental, supermarket, restaurants, etc. In addition, there are also free activities such as a large outdoor playground, indoor play paradise (ages 2 to 10), the so-called nature adventure, and more. The park is about 2 km from the beach.
Texel is an ideal holiday island for children. Watching seals at Ecomare, the Sommeltjespad (walking in the forest along posts shaped like Texel gnomes), a day out with the forest ranger or the shrimp cutter, estate De Bonte Belevenis, sheep farm, pick-your-own garden, climbing the lighthouse, and museums.
You discover Texel best on foot or by bike. This way, you’ll walk to the most beautiful spots. And you’ll have all the time to take in the sounds, scents, and colors. Texel has no less than 135 km of bicycle paths and there are many beautiful routes among them. Along the way you will always come across a nice terrace or café to take a break. The Texel beach is 30 km long and one of the cleanest in the Netherlands. Our bungalow is 2 km from the beach. Texel also has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.
A quarter of Texel consists of nature reserve. The best known is the “Slufter”, close to our bungalow. There are more than 300 different birds and millions of wild orchids in the nature reserve “De Roggesloot”. Almost all Dutch landscapes can be found on Texel: dunes, forest, heath, polders, beach, mudflats and hilly terrain. In spring, Texel has as many as ten thousand lambs.

Our holiday home is located right next to the holiday park "De Krim". De Krim is the best-equipped family park on the Wadden Islands and is situated in the northern part of Texel. In direct proximity to the beach, dunes, golf course, and lighthouse. The charming village of De Cocksdorp is also just a stone's throw away and offers a number of restaurants, terraces, and shops.

Space, luxury, privacy, top spot holiday park.
What a beautiful, luxurious house. Everything you need is present. A large sauna, a built-in barbecue, a fireplace. Each room is sizeable. Two stunning bathrooms with walk-in showers and a large, fully equipped kitchen. The view from the house and the terraces is fantastic. Wide and free. Yet, we could walk to all park facilities in a few minutes.
We will definitely come back and can truly recommend it to you. A solid 10!

We have been renting out our holiday home on holiday park De Krim since 2009. We are a family with two children. Every time we enjoy Texel, the peace and quiet, the space and nature. We would like to share this with you. We love waking up with a croissant and a cappuccino while the children watch a Netflix movie. We bought a big house because of the luxury, but also to be able to spend a weekend with friends. The children enjoy the large garden with play equipment and we sit on the terrace enjoying the panoramic view or relaxing in the sauna. You will enjoy it as much as we do! See you soon.
