Town of Waldkirchen
One of the most beautiful holiday resorts in the Bavarian Forest is the town of Waldkirchen. Waldkirchen has won various awards, such as the state prize for "hospitable Bavaria".
The leisure activities on offer in Waldkirchen are very varied. There is a special offer for every holidaymaker to pursue his or her interests. For example, after a day of hiking, you can relax in the Karoli bathing park or show your skills by climbing the platforms in the nearby climbing park. (You should already have a head for heights)
The hiking trails around Waldkirchen and the surrounding area are suitable for the whole family.
They are well signposted and take you through the southern part of the Bavarian Forest. Extensive cycling tours or Nordic walking routes are signposted.

Immer wieder
Wir waren 1 Woche mit unserem Enkel im Waldhäusl. Es ist alles sauber und sehr hûbsch eingerichtet uns es fehlt an nichts. Sehr empfehlenswert, man kann wunderbar um den Erlauwieseler See laufen und die Saußbachklamn besuchen. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr zuempfehlen. Nucht zu vergessen den Wipfelpfadweg in St. Englmar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Surprisingly
My little family came to Sylvies-Waldhäusl on short notice in June 2021. We found this place during a search for a short break. To say it in advance - we were surprised what this accommodation had to offer. The first impression was already cosy, the lovingly designed garden and the lady who handed over the house to us had also given great tips regarding possible excursions. The interior was fully equipped - something we didn't know in the houses we had already stayed in as holiday homes - everything was there and really nothing was missing. The landlords know what you need and what you might have forgotten
(even a mobile phone charger ;-) ) The house was very clean and well maintained. Wifi is available and works well. We can recommend this holiday home with a clear conscience. The Waldhäusl will certainly see us again.

Traumhäusl
Ein Traum dieses Häusl. Von außen auf den ersten flüchtigen Blick eines unter vielen gleichen "Nur-Dach-Häusern". Jedoch bereits der zweite Blick fällt auf einen liebevoll gestalteten Vorgarten mit Sitzplatz, Grill, Strandkorb, Sonnenbänkle und unzähligen Lichtern, die am Abend für romantische Beleuchtung sorgen.
Und erst drinnen: Gemütlich und gleichzeitig modern eingerichtet. Die Küche, das Bad, der Wohn- und Schlafbereicht topp ausgestattet und blitzsauber.
Es fehlte mir an nichts im Waldhäusl. Ob Fön, DVD's, Milchschäumer oder Nachtlichter - topp ausgestattet und mit liebevoller Hand gestaltet.
Und hinter dem Haus in diversen Schuppen: Fahrräder, Kinderspielsachen, Liegen und für den Winter Schlitten...
Der Grundgedanke der Vermieter scheint zu sein: "Wie mache ich es meinen Gästen so angenehm wie möglich?"
Der wunderschöne Kurparksee mit Kneipanlage und Bewegungsparcour machen das Glück perfekt.
Sylvies Waldhäusl ist der perfekte Platz, um sich eine entspannte Ausszeit in wundervoller Umgebung zu gönnen. Ich komme wieder.

Wir haben es uns, bedingt durch die aktuelle Situation, ein erstes Mal erlaubt, auch während der Hochsaison - wir arbeiten beide im Tourismusbereich in Berlin - in die Ferien zu fahren. Unsere Wahl fiel auf den Bayerischen Wald und Niederbayern und hier auf Sylvie's Waldhäusl. Wir habe diese Wahl zu keinem Zeitpunkt bereut. Die Landschaft ist einfach traumhaft, und die allermeisten Menschen sind entspannt und freundlich. Ein Umstand, den wir als Berliner ganz besonders zu schätzen wissen ;-)
Auch am Ferienhaus selbst gibt es rein gar nichts auszusetzen. Es bietet allen erdenklichen Komfort zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei und ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein kleiner, liebevoll angelegter Garten vor dem Haus mit einem Holzkohlegrill lädt zum Verweilen, lesen und Sonnetanken ein, der kleine See zu Spaziergängen und zum Baden und die nahe Umgebung zu ausgedehnten Wanderungen. Familie Bonert stellt ihre vier Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Auch diese befinden sich in bestem Zustand und wurden von uns oft und dankbar genutzt. In Wollaberg erreicht man nach einer halben Stunde Fußwegs, ein Tierheim und kann dort, wenn man vertrauenswürdig ist und höflich darum bittet, einen der Hunde für einen Spaziergang "ausleihen". Wir raten hier jedoch zur Vorsicht, da es sehr leicht passieren kann, daß man sich in das Tier verliebt und mit einem Passagier mehr an Bord wieder nach hause fährt.
Ein eigenes Fahrzeug empfiehlt sich, wenngleich es nicht unbedingt erforderlich ist.
In Waldskirchen gibt es eine Reihe qualitativ hochwertiger Geschäfte und Supermärkte, in denen man mit ein wenig Glück, auch auch Preußisches Bier findet. Womit nichts Schlechtes über ein frisches Helles gesagt sein will.
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Uns hat es an Nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns zwei Wochen lang rundum wohl gefühlt.
Wir empfehlen Sylvie's Waldhäusl ohne wenn und aber gern weiter und hoffen, selbst einmal wiederkommen zu können.

Short fine autumn holiday...
This small but fine Waldhäusl was full of surprises. On the one hand, it is located in a great region with many hiking and sports opportunities. On the other hand, it is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. We were very surprised by the kitchen and the bathroom. Everything is good and above all very clean! TOP condition. The beds are a little smaller and therefore more unusual, but still tidy. In every corner you can find all kinds of stuff to make your life easier.
Our children, aged 9 and 10, were absolutely thrilled with this little forest cottage. They were thrilled and found everything around the house and in this holiday home complex that our "nature kids" need. The children are happy here in the Bavarian Forest and so are we parents.
We can really recommend the house. It has a great price/performance ratio and lacks nothing.
We will always remember this special holiday cottage.

Einfach nur schön!
Wir haben im Waldhäusl unsere Faschingsferien verbracht. Es war einfach super! Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Die Einrichtung ist sooo gemütlich!!!! Wir haben uns einfach nur wohlgefühlt!!!
Weiterempfehlung ist garantiert!!!!!!

Unser Sommerurlaub
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Vom Grill bis zum Spickerspiel ist alles da. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war sehr freundlich und hat uns toll weitergeholfen. Vielen Dank hierfür nochmals.
