An old house with special charm
So many positive, fitting words have been written about this wonderful, unique holiday home. We fully agree with them.
We would have liked to stay longer, that is, we will definitely come back.

Magical well-being
We decided very spontaneously to relax in Germany with the family (including the dog) for a few days. This is how we came across the charming house Morgenstern at a great price-performance ratio. Mrs. Morgenstern welcomed us very warmly and explained everything important to us. Both hosts were always available and extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The house is a journey in itself. The half-timbered house impresses with many rooms and outdoor seating areas where you can retreat. There is something to discover everywhere. Everything you need is available. The surroundings offer something for every taste. If you are looking for luxury and a cold modern atmosphere, you won't be happy here. However, if you are looking for a nostalgic atmosphere, plenty of space, kind hosts, and an incredibly interesting interior in a wonderful environment, this is the right place for you. We would love to come back and highly recommend this house.

Wonderfully quaint, but not everyone's cup of tea
We received a very friendly welcome and were familiarised with the conditions of the house. It is equipped with everything necessary and has enough comfort even for a longer stay.
The idyllic courtyard offers several places to have breakfast, drink coffee or just doze in the sun.
The interior is a mixture of 70s retro charm and junk barn - in a positive sense. You'll find something worth seeing, bizarre, rare and strange in every corner of the house.
A real drawback is the direct location to the busiest road in the village - cars, trucks and tractors thunder past the house in endless rows. The house is not for people who are sensitive to noise, nor for people with mobility problems - the low ceilings, stumbling blocks, corners, steps and edges are sometimes very dangerous and poorly secured.
So this is the right place for people with a thirst for experience.

SOUL OASIS
This house captivated me from the moment I entered
I immediately felt at home - it radiates an infinite tranquillity and invites you to relax.
In every corner you can feel the heart and soul that Mrs. Morgenstern has put into this house.
Fr. Morgenstern welcomed us with great warmth and showed and explained all the necessary things to us.
The surroundings are a dream for hiking and perfect for dog owners.
I will definitely return here soon.

Romantic old house
If you are looking for an individual holiday home, Haus Morgenstern is the right place for you. An ancient, lovingly converted half-timbered house with lots of character, but also plenty of space and all the amenities for the whole family. We felt very comfortable and definitely want to come back next time in summer to also use the beautiful courtyard and garden. Many sights are quite easy to reach: Maria Laach, Koblenz, Bonn, Andernach, etc etc

A journey to a past time.
This cottage is simply fantastic! Lovingly furnished and extremely cozy. You feel transported to another time as soon as you arrive there. The house has everything you need (hairdryer, kitchen appliances, many books, washing machine...). The garden is truly rustic due to the hillside construction. Everything is fenced in for the dogs, who are truly warmly welcomed. Our dogs felt really comfortable! There are wonderful opportunities for walking in the immediate vicinity. The landlords are very friendly and make sure that you lack nothing, especially the fact that Mrs. Morgenstern called the next day to ask if everything was okay personally pleased us very much - thank you very much for that! The only thing that bothered us a bit, but can't be changed, is that when you step out of the property's door, you have to be very careful of the cars because the drivers there drive quickly. We can only recommend the house and would love to come back! Thank you very much!

Contact
Mrs. M. Morgenstern
As a teacher at the time, I bought the house 40 years ago in a state of disrepair and renovated and refurbished it with a lot of my own work and enthusiasm, then lived in it myself before I went to Brazil for several years as a school teacher abroad Many journeys and contacts with people from all over the world have shaped my life. Now my husband Michael and I look after the house together with the guests who like this mixture of regional museum and individual style of living.
